If you missed the podcast last night, Tom announced a new 6 Card set is coming out to commemorate the 30th anniversary of COTG.
- set will be in Black & White just like the first one
- 2 cards by Chuck Carter based on two unused characters from Tom's original plans for the original set
- 4 cards by Darryl Banks that are re-dos of four original characters but based on Tom's original concepts for them.
Im really excited for this set. A nice throwback and tribute to the set that started it all.

Awesome! I think it's great to have Chuck & Darryl involved in the art . This will be an awesome collectors set to commemorate the FG 30th anniversary !

Seeing more of the early GWF History and a few alternate (or are they really original?) storylines is always a lot of fun.
And art from the original and current artists! Oh, Yes!

I'm pretty excited for this as well. I have been kicking around the idea of restarting from the beginning, and this set may be what makes me do it. I'm thinking of it as like an Elseworld story. Mostly the same as before, but just a little different.

I think the original Lord Nexus concept is a possibility--he was supposed to be more similar to Star Warrior until Chuck remade him as a black man.
