Yesterdays game was brutal, but its still early. I think they have enough talent to bounce back.

As both a Raiders fan and as a Seahawks fan, it definitely has not been a good past few days for me for football.

Well Jon Gruden is out as coach. After reading on ESPN about the other emails that were released I am not surprised. Hopefully the team can rally around each other and whoever takes over as the intern HC and they get back to winning like they did early in the season.

He should have known better if he ever wanted to coach that he should watch what he said and he never did. Raiders are honestly probably better without him.

Raiders special teams coach Rich Bisaccia is now the interim coach of the Raiders. According to the LVRJ, these are the leading candidates to take over for John Gruden long term:
Gus Bradley (Raiders defensive coordinator, former Jaguars head coach and former defensive coordinator for both the Seahawks and the Chargers)
David Shaw (Stanford's coach)
Joe Brady (Panthers offensive coordinator)
Eric Bieniemy (Chiefs offensive coordinator, does he finally get a head coaching spot?)
Brian Daboll (Bills offensive coordinator, I think he is a head coach somewhere by next year)
Darrell Bevell (Jaguars offensive coordinator, former offensive coordinator of Seahawks, Vikings, and Lions)
I would be a little surprised if they could get Daboll now during the season but I also think the Raiders will be attractive to head coaching candidates with their winning record, awesome new stadium, Las Vegas location, etc. I don't know, perhaps Bisaccia becomes a candidate to take over for Gruden long term if he does well as the interim coach?

I was never a big fan of the Raiders bringing back Gruden.
Really hope they put this behind them and get back on track.

I am also glad they did not make Gus Bradley the interim head coach. Bradley failed as head coach of the Jaguars yet Bradley is an excellent defensive coordinator as proven by his time in Seattle and the Raiders defense has improved alot this year under Bradley. So I really prefer just keeping Bradley in his current role as the defensive coordinator.
