September-November 1987. The dark days. 5 cards played over the entire 3 months. Needless to say, my interest was waning. However, I was a big fan of wrestling, and a bigger fan of comic books, so this game never sat around for too long. Since there are so few cards, I will list them all. After the FDF/Hand/Society of Death war ended, I had built to such a manic point that storylines were only slightly existent at this point. Although, if you noticed, I was really only concentrating on the "big" storyline, and anything to do with belts. The mid-carders were just there. That will change.
There were two other odd things that happened as well. On September 7th while walking home from school, I "played" a match in my head. At the end of August, Renegade & Massacre defended their Tag Team Championship against Krakan's new team Gemini. It was an Elimination match, but Gemini ended up winning the last fall on a count-out. I decided to have the re-match in my head in, of course, a Cosmic Cage. The ending of this match sticks with me--Renegade went to dive onto Light from the top of the cage, but Dark slammed his body-weight into the side of the cage, knocking Renegade off. He landed flat on his back on the floor and didn't move (he's OK!..lol). Then Light recovered, picked up Massacre for their finishing manuever (one holds opponent on shoulder face-up, the other clothslines him from top rope), Dark executed it from the top of the cage, and both members of Gemini walked out for the win. In these days, my cages had no pin attempts, it was whoever escaped first.
That was the only "match" on that card. I didn't do any others, and I didn't even record the results, outside of Gemini being on my Champions list. The only reason I remember that is because of the dynamic ending.
On September 16th, I played this:
Pit Viper beat Ghengis Khan Christian & Actagon finally came to a decision against Deathknight & Cultist, with the good guys winning the match. Renegade (I told you he was OK) beat Commander Sam by DQ Fin over Vanity Exo-King & Krakan II stopped the Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) Main Event: Lord Nexus & The Spacemen (Meteor & Asteroid) successfully defended their Six-Man Tag Team belts against Thantos, Massif & Massacre
On October 2nd, this happened:
Executioner over Ghengis Khan Massif crushed Pulsar Proteus & Comrade Terror beat the Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) by DQ Fin beat Killer Queen Lord Nexus & The Spacemen (Meteor & Asteroid) again successfully defended their Six-Man Tag Belts against Cultist, Massacre & Deathknight Main Event: Exo-King was unable to win the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship from Thantos
On October 11th:
Brute beat Beast Rider Pit Viper & Pulsar beat the Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) by DQ Exo-King over Deathknight Fin pinned Commander Sam Christian & Actagon beat Massif & Massacre by DQ Main Event: Yet again, Lord Nexus & The Spacemen successfully defended their Six-Man Tag Titles over Proteus, Comrade Terror & Krakan II
On October 20th: Krakan II beat Pulsar Commander Sam over Ghengis Khan Star Warrior beat Exo-King by DQ Brute stopped Fin Lord Nexus & The Spacemen (seriously?!) defended their belts against "The Hand", which I'm assuming means Thantos, Massif & Renegade Main Event: The Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) finally win by beating Cultist & Massacre
Finally, the second odd thing that happened during this time period is Executioner beat Thantos on November 10th. The only reason I know this happened is because it is on my Champions list. There is no other documentation and I have no idea whether I played a one-off match or what. History says it happened though!
Two title changes, so: Champion--Executioner (11/10) Interdimensional--Cultist (7/25) Tag Team--Gemini (Dark & Light) (9/7) Six-Man Tag Team--Lord Nexus & The Spacemen (Meteor & Asteroid) (8/3)
The Top 10 Contenders: 1. Thantos 2. Star Warrior 3. Exo-King 4. Lord Nexus 5. Cultist 6. Christian 7. Massif 8. Slicer 9. Massacre 10. Brute
There was one event held on November 26th, the one year anniversary of my federation. This is the final pay-per-view of the year, the Thanksgiving Spectacular, and we'll look at that in depth next time.

Big oops from last time! So, not only were there 2 title changes that were undocumented, there was a third that came out of nowhere. Apparently, on 11/17, Brute teamed up with Wolf & Slicer to beat Lord Nexus & The Spacemen for the Six-Man Tag Team Championship. I didn't remember any of this when I was talking about the undocumented cards/matches from Nov 86-Jan 87, but I can guarantee things change drastically in 1988, so this should never happen again.
Now, celebrating the one-year anniversary of the GWF, here is a totally 80's NWA event name:
Thanksgiving Spectacular 11/26/87
Match 1: Vanity & Killer Queen vs. Deathknight & Ghengis Khan
Total warm-up match. As you would expect, Vanity & Killer Queen won.
Match 2: Comrade Terror vs. Massacre
Leftover hostilities from the Society of Death/Hand war in this one. The former tag partners from the first iteration of the Hand battled hard. Krakan and his force were the more hated, and even though Terror took the fall, Massacre was enjoying the cheering a little too much...
Match 3: Spacemen (Meteor & Asteroid) vs. Renegade & Pit Viper
What a surprise! Renegade distancing himself from the Hand and the Gladiators after his reduced role in their operations wasn't shocking, but Pit Viper turning his back on the Flying Titans sent the arena into a frenzy. The new team sent a message to Lord Nexus by soundly beating his recent allies.
Match 4: Gemini (Dark & Light) vs. Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
Krakan's successful night took a hit here as the tag team that seemed to lose an awful lot over the last couple of months became the new champions. I guess they won a lot of matches that are undocumented...lol.
Match 5: Lord Nexus vs. Fin
This was the shark-man's biggest competition to date and he took to it like the animal he is. Nexus was surprised by the ferocity of Fin, but did not surrender to it. The intensity level increased as the match went on, leading to a brawl outside the ring that got both contestants counted-out. Eventually, others had to come out to restrain the two and restore order.
Match 6: Proteus & Krakan II vs. Actagon & Commander Sam
The closest thing we are going to get to a rematch of the disastrous match at Tour of the Solar System-Earth that claimed the life of Omega. While the tone was not as intense, Krakan's team still tried to cheat to win but got caught and disqualified.
Match 7: Massif vs. Brute
Brute also had a reduced role in the Hand once the Three-Way-War ended, but Thantos wasn't exactly happy with his joining up with Wolf and Slicer. So, Thantos sent his large enforcer to take care of him. Things got out of hand, and Brute won on a DQ.
Match 8: Executioner vs. Exo-King for Galaxian Heavyweight Championship in an Assassins Match
Full disclosure: I have absolutely no recollection of what an Assasins Match is. Sounds cool though! Anyway, Executioner was able to successfully defend his title, but the match took its toll as he had to be taken from the ring area on a stretcher. Would he be able to defend his title again?
Match 9: Star Warrior vs. Thantos in a 90-Day Federation Exile Match held in a Cosmic Cage
It's just not a big event without these two having something to do with one another. Both felt the other needed to go, and no interference would decide the outcome. It was a brutal match, but Star Warrior escaped the cage first. This would completely change the landscape on the villains side, leaving a power vacuum at the top. Perhaps it would be filled by...
Match 10: Cultist vs. Christian for the Interdimensional Championship in a Cosmic Cage
It takes a lot to displace Star Warrior and Thantos from the main event, but this match finally brought together the age-old rivalry between good and evil in a one-on-one match-up. This was the first time these two would face-off in singles competition, and there were no tag partners to help out tonight. The match was as hate-filled and insane as one could imagine; both contestants covered in blood after constant meetings with the steel. In the end, good triumphed and Christian won the IC belt. Cultist swore revenge--this feud was far from over.
And that my friends is the end of year 1! Thanks for reading up to this point, and next time--They're making MORE wrestlers???!!!

I'm not exactly sure when I got the mailing telling me that I could order the Invasion expansion, but based on the sudden boost in play time, I'm betting it was early December 1987. Knowing that new wrestlers were coming was like a shot to the arm for my fed, as I played 10 more cards in December. It would lag slightly again before they arrived, but I think this event single-handedly cemented Champions of the Galaxy into the rest of my life (up until now...lol).
In those 10 cards, a lot happened, so I'll break it up into smaller chunks.
After the events of the Assassins Match at the Thanksgiving Spectacular, Executioner was not going to able to defend the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship in its allotted time, so the decision was made to vacate the title and have a tournament to decide the new champ. It went down on December 4th like this:
Tournament for Champion
First Round
Massacre beat Cultist--again the crowd cheered on Massacre against the hated Cultist, Massacre ate it up Slicer beat Star Warrior Exo-King beat Brute Lord Nexus beat Massif--with Thantos gone, Massif came to the ring with Cultist, who had gotten very chummy with him before Thantos was exiled
Semi-Finals
Slicer beat Massacre--Massacre's crowd appeal continued even against a more neutral contender, it's safe to say he was full-on face now Lord Nexus beat Exo-King
Finals
Lord Nexus beat Slicer by DQ
It was then decided that the Championship would not be won on a disqualification, so a second tournament was held on December 7th, with Nexus and Slicer not allowed to participate. Actagon and Fin were asked to take their places.
Tournament for Champion II
First Round
Star Warrior beat Cultist Actagon beat Exo-King Brute beat Massacre Massif beat Fin
Semi-Finals
Star Warrior beat Actagon Massif beat Brute
Finals
Massif beat Star Warrior to become new Galaxian Heavyweight Champion
Massif slid even further into darkness than he did with Thantos, proving he and Cultist were a force to be reckoned with.
Also during this time frame, the Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) beat Comrade Terror & Proteus by DQ in a match for the Tag Team Championship
CHAMPIONS LIST Champion: Massif (12/7) Interdimensional: Christian (11/26) Tag Team: Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) (11/26) Six-Man Tag Team: Brute, Wolf & Slicer (11/17)
CURRENT TOP 10 CONTENDERS 1. Christian 2. Massacre 3. Star Warrior 4. Cultist 5. Exo-King 6. Brute 7. Actagon 8. Lord Nexus 9. Fin 10. Comrade Terror
Next time: The GWF finally gets a TV contract

With the success of the three pay-per-views throughout the year, the GWF was offered a television contract. The GWF would televise a card on every Saturday night closest to the middle of the month (yeah, I loved Saturday Night's Main Event, can't you tell?). Having a defined thing that had to happen in a certain timeframe was another thing that saved my fed--the ability to walk away from it and pick it up from where I left off would be crucial to it continuing to this day. In the future, I never even considered starting over, and there were definitely times I thought it was done for good. Also, it helped to slow things down in the fed so that I didn't have champions defending their belt 9 times in a month...lol.
Anyway here's the first TV show:
Saturday Night GWF 12/15/87
Match 1: Beast Rider vs. Deathknight
I wonder how many people turned off their televisions when this match started things off? Luckily, it was fast, and Beast Rider won the match. Deathknight was no longer associated with Cultist, and returned to jobber status.
Match 2 : Renegade & Pit Viper vs. Lord Nexus & Pulsar
On 12/10, these two teams met up with Renegade & Pit Viper winning by DQ. The remaining Titans tried to reason with Pit Viper, but it was to no avail. Showing that he truly had no feelings left for his former mates, Pit Viper enlisted the help of Fin, who was embroiled in a feud with Lord Nexus. Fin's interference helped turn the tide and Renegade & Viper got the win.
Match 3: Cultist vs. Actagon
This match was a continuation from the Christian/Actagon/Deathknight/Cultist tag war. In their first meeting in singles action, Cultist was aided by having his big enforcer, Massif, outside the ring. Actagon could not handle both of them and Cultist won easily.
Match 4: Brute vs. Gemini (Dark & Light) in a Handicap Match
I decided that if I were going to play out Gemini's matches in my mind, then I should probably do something with them than just a straight tag team. It started here where I turned them into a team that bumbled and fumbled their way through matches, but somehow came up with victories. In this one, Light was on all-fours trying to get back on his feet when Dark fell into Brute, making him trip over Light, and get pinned.
Match 5: Christian vs. Massif for the Interdimensional Championship
On December 12th, these two met in the same match. Massif refused to defend his newly won Heavyweight Championship against Christian because he deemed him not "worthy". Christian agreed to put his belt up-for-grabs, and the two men both ended up getting disqualified in a wild brawl that of course, Cultist got involved in. In the rematch, things got out of hand as well. Both men traded blows when ending up outside the ring, and continued to do so all the way to the back. Because of their relentless punching until they faded from sight, they were both counted-out.
Match 6: Star Warrior vs. Exo-King in a Cosmic Cage
This short feud started during the October 20th card I shared above when SW beat the King by DQ. They met again on December 1st with Warrior getting the pinfall, and also in a six-man match on December 10th where Cultist, Massif & Exo-King beat Christian, Star Warrior & Actagon by DQ. The war would be settled tonight inside steel, and Krakan's man was able to escape the cage on a historic night for the GWF.
Champions List Champion: Massif (12/7) Interdimensional: Christian (11/26) Tag Team: Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) (11/26) Six-Man Tag Team: Brute, Wolf & Slicer (11/17)
Next time, a big house show to end the year.

As we steamroll into 1988, there's a couple of things that happen before the calendar turns:
The Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) successfully defend their Six-Man Tag Titles against Fin, Renegade & Pit Viper
A big event happened at a house show on December 31st. Here's what went down:
Proteus beat Massacre--Proteus showed up no longer having Krakan as his manager, instead he's with Cultist??? Renegade & Pit Viper again defeated the Spacemen (Meteor & Asteroid) Christian stopped Cultist in a rematch for the Interdimensional Championship Star Warrior beat Comrade Terror by DQ Somehow, Exo-King & Gemini (Dark & Light) beat the Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) by DQ in a tag elimination match for the Six-Man belts Main Event: Lord Nexus finally put away his new nemesis Fin in a Cosmic Cage
All that brings us to:
Saturday Night GWF 1/16/88
Match 1: Actagon vs. Ghengis Khan
The GWF promoters were perplexed as to what to do about Ghengis Khan--he would easily beat the other weak wrestlers, but rarely broke out against the bigger guys. This match may have helped out his cause as Khan pulled off the upset.
Match 2: Comrade Terror vs. Vanity
Facing off against one of Krakan's men is sure to get you cheered for, but Vanity came to the ring playing the face by having his valets give stuff out to the crowd, and shaking hands along the way. This new style for Vanity did not quite translate into the ring, but Terror's temper got in the way. Vanity won the the match by DQ.
Match 3: Lord Nexus vs. Krakan II
Nexus took time away from his feud against his old partner Pit Viper to take on an older rival, or at least that rival's son. The young Krakan was not yet skilled enough to handle Nexus, who won pretty easily.
Match 4: Proteus vs. Massacre
In a rematch from the 12/31 card, Proteus used every dirty trick in the book, including lots of outside help from Cultist. None of it helps, as Massacre was able to avenge his previous loss.
Match 5: Christian vs. Fin for the Interdimensional Championship
The ferocious Fin got his first singles title match and it did not end the way he wanted. While competitive, Christian won the fall.
Match 6: Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) vs. Renegade & Pit Viper for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
What a match! The title-holders had their hands full as Renegade & Pit Viper gave it their all. It was not enough, however, as the shorter TV time limits forced this match to end in a draw.
Champions List: Champion--Massif (12/7/87) Interdimensional--Christian (11/26/87) Tag Team--Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) (11/26/87) Six-Man Tag Team--Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) (11/17/87)
Top 10 Contenders for January: 1. Christian 2. Massacre 3. Cultist 4. Exo-King 5. Comrade Terror 6. Star Warrior 7. Lord Nexus 8. Brute 9. Fin 10. Slicer
Next time: Finally! Invasion is here!

Based on my write-ups, I'm assuming Invasion came to my home somewhere between January 30th-February 2, 1988. It absolutely revitalized my playing--17 cards for the month, which is the most I ever played. It would cut back quickly though. As Eventhorizon and Wayne have pointed out, the unknown future of the game caused me to branch out on my own very quickly; after I received Invasion, a lot of things would revert back to Tom's vision. Not everything, though...lol. Here's what went on in this time period:
Invasion Debut Matches:
2/3-Mesmer----beats Killer Queen 2/3-Splatter (brought in by Krakan)----beats Pulsar 2/4-Adam Blast----lost to Killer Queen 2/5-Spike----lost to Vanity 2/7-Norse Gods----beat Vanity & Beast Rider 2/10-Bishop Hell (brought in by Cultist)----beat Beast Rider 2/10-Ani-Men----beat Ghengis Khan, Deathknight & Killer Queen 2/13-Billy Joe Boxer----detailed in Sat Night GWF write-up 2/16-Creeper----lost to Pulsar
House Show Title Defenses: 1/25-Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) beat Cultist, Proteus & Massif (Six-Man) 2/1-Christian lost to Comrade Terror by DQ (Interdimensional) 2/5-Massif & Cultist beat the Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) to become the new Tag Team Champions 2/7-Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) beat Exo-King, Comrade Terror & Proteus (oops, he's with Cultist now!) (Six-Man) 2/10-Slicer beat Massif to become the new Heavyweight Champion 2/12-Massif & Cultist lost to Christian & Actagon by DQ (Tag Team)
Saturday Night GWF 2/13/88
Match 1: Lord Nexus & Billy Joe Boxer vs. Deathknight & Killer Queen
It was rumored that Lord Nexus was bringing in a new person to help him dominate the tag team ranks. So, of course, they were upset by DK & Queen.
Match 2: Spike vs. Commander Sam
The Gladiators also had a member that came in with a lot of fanfare. Spike unfortunately lost his first match to Vanity, and his second match had the same result. Sam showed that experience beats hype every time.
Match 3: Asteroid & Massacre vs. Gemini (Dark & Light)
Asteroid, formerly of the Spacemen, and Massacre started up a friendship which led to a tag partnership. They had already beaten Gemini by DQ twice back on 2/8 and 2/10, and looked to finally beat the bumbling duo by pinfall. Due to the main event taking even more time away from the short television time limits, neither team came away with victory as they fought to a draw.
Match 4: Brute vs. Exo-King
The Hitmen were fighting wars on two fronts, the first of which was with Krakan's Society of Death. Brute and Exo-King emerged as the prime feud between the two factions: Exo beat Brute by DQ on 2/3, and they battled again in the Hitmen's successful Six-Man Tag Title defense on 2/7. Again, Brute could not keep disciplined in a solo setting, and get caught trying to finish the King with a foreign object. Exo-King beats Brute again by disqualification.
Match 5: Hitmen (Wolf & Slicer) vs. Proteus & Massif
The other battle the Hitmen had going on was with Cultist. Cultist & Massif took the Tag Team Championship away from the Hitmen, but some measure of revenge was gotten when Slicer beat Massif for the Heavweight Championship. Cultist sat this match out and sent Proteus in to battle. The hatred for Cultist's group was strong with the Hitmen, and they took things to the next level during a brawl outside the ring. After the bell was rung and the ref decided to disqualify the Hitmen, Proteus reluctantly joined in with Massif and Cultist's sadistic attack to overpower and humiliate their foes.
Match 6: Christian vs. Comrade Terror in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match for the Interdimensional Championship
After a meeting between the two on 2/1 ended in a DQ win for Terror, the rematch would be a more intense contest. Christian won the first fall; Terror took the hard-fought second fall. The two falls were so brutal and took such a toll that during the third fall, both contestants would not be able to physically continue. The medical staff told the ref to call it, and the match officially ended in a draw.
Champions List: Champion-Slicer (2/10) Interdimensional-Christian (11/26/87) Tag Team-Massif & Cultist (2/5) Six-Man Tag Team: Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) (11/17/87)
Top 10 Contenders for February 1. Massif 2. Exo-King 3. Christian 4. Massacre 5. Cultist 6. Brute 7. Comrade Terror 8. Actagon 9. Lord Nexus 10. Star Warrior After this month, the top 10 contender list was not published for a few months as a new formula was being looked at with the new arrivals to the federation

Wow... Quite a disappointing introduction to the Aethran poster boy, Spike... Can only imagine what you must've been thinking at the time... Without the benefit of the hindsight (foresight?) that players just getting into the game now have...
Can't wait to see how the Invasion tournament played out... Cool memories!

When I got Invasion, there was definitely a desire to throw them into the mix fast. I don't want to say the other guys were stale, it's just that I whipped them through feuds and heel/face turns so fast that new blood was needed, and I had very little interest in continuing to create my own. When you try to get them in and they don't perform as you expect....well, you get Spike. In future years I learn to ease in the characters and let them find their footing.
Thanks for commenting Pariah!

Throughout the rest of February 1988, the new Invasion characters did their best to assimilate with the existing wrestlers. Some had little difficulty--Bishop Hell, Ani-Men, Splatter. Some had a lot--Adam Blast, Creeper, Spike. It was decided by the promoters that it would be interesting to see a tournament held combining both old and new wrestlers, and figuring out if any of the newcomers could be dominating enough to win. Since they didn't want to bury the new wrestlers by having them compete against big contenders like Star Warrior or Thantos, the promoters thought the tournament would be more competitive if it was filled with mid-carders. During a big house show on February 29th, 16 wrestlers were brought together and scheduled to fight in a single-elimination, random draw tournament. Here's how it went down:
Galaxian Invasion '88 Tournament
First Round
Beast Rider over Killer Queen Proteus beat Krakan II Commander Sam downed Lord Nexus Pulsar defeated Ghengis Khan Spike and Meteor finished with a time-limit draw Billy Joe Boxer beat Mesmer Splatter annihilated Actagon Bishop Hell downed the Creeper
Quarterfinals
Proteus over Beast Rider Commander Sam handled Pulsar Billy Joe Boxer advanced since there was no winner between Spike-Meteor Splatter downed Bishop Hell in a brutal match
Semifinals
Proteus beat Commander Sam Billy Joe Boxer and Splatter could not be controlled and the ref had no choice but to eventually disqualify them both
Meaning, Proteus ended up the winner of the Invasion tournament. Cultist had guided yet another wrestler to success, although Proteus did not seem to be too comfortable around his manager.
Also, that night, it what was supposed to be the match between the semi-finals and the finals but ended up becoming the main event, Renegade & Pit Viper easily handled Asteroid & Massacre.
Wrapping up the rest of the month:
House Show Title Matches: 2/14--Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) beat the Hierarchy (Cultist, Massif & Proteus) (Six-Man) 2/16--Slicer beat Massif in a rematch (Champion) 2/18--Christian beat Exo-King (Interdimensional) 2/20--Massif & Cultist lost to Slicer & Brute by DQ (Tag Team) 2/23--Christian over Krakan II (Interdimensional)
Championship List: Champion: Slicer (2/10) Interdimensional: Christian (11/26/87) Tag Team: Massif & Cultist (2/5) Six-Man Tag Team: Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) (11/17/87)

Things are heating up as we head towards the first pay-per-view of 1988--Wrestlestar II.
House Show Title Matches: 3/5--Slicer beats Comrade Terror (Championship) 3/8--Massif & Cultist beat Christian & Actagon (Tag Team) 3/10--Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) beat Hierarchy (Cultist, Massif & Proteus) by DQ
Saturday Night GWF 3/12/88
Match 1: Star Warrior vs. Executioner
Thantos has returned from his exile! The Gamemaster returns having convinced Executioner that the Federation Defense Fighters were holding him back, and probably could have done more to help him retain his title. Executioner was just happy to be back after his injuries, and was willing to go with whoever could get him to the top the fastest. Tonight, he had to face his former tag-team partner, who was not happy to see this reunion. Despite constant taunting and interference from Thantos, Star Warrior was able to keep focus and beat his one-time friend.
Match 2: Vanity vs. Creeper
Being a good guy seemed to agree with Vanity, as he had been having some success both in solo contests and tag matches with Beast Rider. His good fortune continued tonight, but Creeper was more upset than usual after the loss.
Match 3: Actagon vs. Krakan II
Just a match to climb the ranks of singles competition--Actagon easily won this one.
Match 4: Norse Gods vs. Massif & Proteus
Proteus was already on edge with the opponents acting like they were "gods". Proteus needed to knock them down just to show them who the true "god" of the federation was. During the match, however, Proteus realized how low he had sunk by joining with Krakan then, and Cultist now. If anything, he should be fighting these pretenders with his former partner Actagon. After some internal struggle, Proteus dropped down off the ring apron, left the match, and also left Cultist. With Massif all alone, the Norse Gods were able to win, and took the opportunity to taunt Proteus as being scared of their "godliness".
Match 5: Christian vs. Bishop Hell for the Interdimensional Championship
Cultist had guided the Bishop to early success in the GWF. Christian was more than willing to teach the new wrestler a lesson, and humiliate his most-hated nemesis as well. In a well-fought match, Christian was able to overcome Cultist's interference, but not the taste of HELLFIRE, as a new champion was crowned. The loss of a member of the group was easily forgotten when the remaining three members of the Hierarchy all had gold.
Match 6: Slicer vs. Exo-King for the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship
The Hitmen still maintained both of their feuds against the Society of Death and the Hierarchy. After Slicer beat Comrade Terror on 3/5, it was Exo-King's turn to fight for the title. Brute's dislike of Exo-King had not decreased at all, and he came down to ringside. Brute made his presence felt as he distracted Exo, and punched out Krakan, helping Slicer get the three count and retain the title. Exo-King vowed this would be settled once and for all.
Champion List: Champion--Slicer (2/10) Interdimensional--Bishop Hell (3/12) Tag Team--Massif & Cultist (2/5) Six-Man Tag Team--Hitmen (Brute, Wolf & Slicer) (11/17/87)
Next time: Wrestlestar II
