GWF Chaos 9/9/96 Stargazer's Grotto, Veil Nebula
Ring: Infinity-Plex
Still angry as a result of last week's brawl, I-P challenges Star Warrior and Alpha Force to face him in a tag team match for tonight's main event. The brothers come out to the top of the ramp, and Star Warrior demands that Plex puts up the Interdimensional Championship at Resurgence. I-P agrees to do so, if his team loses tonight's contest.
Match 1: Ms. Liberty w/ U.S. Patriot vs. Maxine Babe w/ Vigilante
Vigilante tries to interfere, but the Patriot grabs him and pulls him out of the ring. Ms. Liberty hits THE LIBERATOR during the confusion and gets the three-count.
Locker Room: Futurists
Magnus Colby is angry, asking Infinity-Plex "why poke the sleeping graffnir?" Plex responds by saying that with everything the Futurists have done to that family, breaking the will of the Sons of Omega, will break the will of the GWF. Wouldn't Colby like to pick up the pieces?
Match 2: Defender of the Realm vs. Dynamo w/ Reynard B. Guile
A quick reversal-filled match ends when Dynamo hits the Brain Buster and gets the win.
Backstage: Billy Joe Boxer
BJB finds Commander Sam, and asks him if he can sign a rematch with Enigma for tonight. Sam says he'll get right on it, but warns Boxer to watch out for Cannibal.
GWF Revolution Highlights
Hallway: Meteor Storm
As Commander Sam is walking back to the Commissioner's office, he runs into Meteor Storm, who are arrogantly walking around with the defunct Universal Tag Team Championship belts over their shoulders. Knowing they were locked up in the office, Sam yells at the duo as to how they got their hands on the belts. Meteor Storm look at each other, their jaws drop, and then they run off.
Match 3: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SECONDARY BRACKET: Colossus & Heracles vs. Keepers of the Stone (Rogue & Scourge) w/ Magnus Colby
Commander Sam ends up coming to ringside mid-match to keep an eye on Colby. It helps, and allows Heracles to pin Scourge after OLYMPIA.
Backstage: Vanity
The flamboyant one is walking to his locker room surrounded by women, when he turns a corner and runs into his old manager, Reynard B. Guile. The two stare at each other, then both grunt and walk in opposite directions.
Match 4: Billy Joe Boxer w/ Trainer Jim vs. Enigma w/ Cannibal
Enigma has all the offense in the match, winning with MASK OF DEATH. The whole time Cannibal laughs at BJB's showing from outside the ring.
Johnny Rocket Interview w/ Badger
Enough is enough! No more running and dodging--Badger flat out challenges Ram to a match at Resurgence.
Match 5: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT WINNER'S BRACKET FINAL: Second Order (Raven & Holocaust) w/ Destructon 3000 vs. Animal Pack (Badger & Iron Mane) w/ Amazonia
The match is quick because Ram comes out, distracting Badger by standing at the top of the ramp. Losing focus, Badger is thrown out of the ring by Holocaust. Badger then pulls Holocaust to the floor and rams him repeatedly into the railing while turning back and yelling at Ram. The referee tries to stop Badger, but the Ani-Man won't listen, and after getting disqualified, Badger runs up the ramp and heads backstage after Ram.
Darkened Area: Hitman
The manager is speaking with someone unseen, telling him that the Mercenaries involvement in the Tag Team Tournament won't affect their deal at all; "they're ready when you are."
Match 6: Star Warrior & Alpha Force vs. Infinity-Plex & Rhea w/ Magnus Colby
I-P comes out with Rhea, in an attempt to force either of the Sons of Omega to strike a woman. Both brothers have issues facing off with her, which Rhea uses to her advantage, pinning Star Warrior after SIX DEADLY SINS. Plex grabs the microphone after the match and starts to gloat, but Alpha Force chases him from the area.
Champion List:
Champion--Alpha Force (8/2) Interdimensional--Infinity-Plex (6/10) Cosmos--Count Necros (8/12) Women's--Cassandra (8/16)
Tag Team--Dorado Sundown (Bullwhip & Blacklash) (3/24) Six-Man Tag Team--Asteroid, Defender of the Realm & Pulsar Prime (8/30)

GWF Revolution 9/13/96 Alphard Dungeon, Hydra
Backstage: Dorado Sundown
The Tag Team Champions come across the Mercenaries, and once again taunt them about being in the Elimination Bracket of the Tag Team Tournament. The competition keeps getting tougher, how much longer can they last? Dorado Sundown walk away before the Mercs can stand up for themselves.
Match 1: Sign of the Zodiac (Mesmer & Gemini) w/ Occult Overlord vs. Meteor Storm (Astro Turk & Black Hole Bart)
After Mesmer hits BHB with a falling knee smash and gets the three-count, Astro Turk immediately grabs the Universal Tag Team belts they stole. He also grabs a microphone and tells SotZ that this was not a "title match" and therefore the belts do not change hands. Even though SotZ doesn't care, MS run away with their "titles".
Backstage: Animal Pack
As the Sign of the Zodiac get behind the curtain, Animal Pack are waiting to ambush them. When both members of the tag team are down, Badger grabs Occult Overlord and demands he agrees to let Ram face Badger at Resurgence. Under duress, Overlord gives in and agrees.
Match 2: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION BRACKET: Royal Blood (Exo-King & Jack of Diamonds) w/ the Collector vs. Alpha Force & Mutant
With both teams on their last leg, Exo-King gives CORONATION CEREMONY to Mutant to keep his team alive.
Commissioner's Office: Badger
The door to the office bursts open as Badger is dragging Occult Overlord toward a contract to make the match against Ram official. As the document is being drawn up, Ram blindsides Badger, and the two start to tear apart the office. Commander Sam gets in between the two and tells them to take it outside, but if they want to fight so badly and destroy stuff, then at Resurgence their match will be a Titan Death one.
GWF Chaos Highlights
Commissioner's Office: Alpha Force
The Champion enters a wrecked office, and Commander Sam looks at him with little patience. Alpha only wants to know if he can defend his Championship against Infinity-Plex in October, regardless of the outcome against Star Warrior at Resurgence. Sam says he'll see what he can do, and AF helps him clean up.
Match 3: Cassandra vs. Amazonia for Women's Championship
Amazonia is obviously still injured from Ram's attack last week as she can't get any kind of sustained offense going. In frustration, she slams the Champion into the ring post awkwardly and gets disqualified.
Backstage: Infinity-Plex
He is approached by Commander Sam, who informs him of Alpha Force's offer. Oddly, Plex says he will have to think about it and leaves.
Match 4: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION BRACKET: Mercenaries (Vigilante & Soldier of Fortune) w/ Hitman vs. Cosmic Forces (Matter & Anti-Matter) w/ Doomsayer
The Mercs show they mean to stay in the tourney for the long haul as they quickly get a surprise pin after Soldier of Fortune hits Matter with Vigilante Destroyer.
Krakan's Corner w/ Janus
Janus throws a temper tantrum about how unfair last week was, losing his title shot in a surprise match with Lance At-Las. He starts to go on about how he is the most held-back and hated man in the GWF when Commander Sam comes out and tells him to get in the ring and "take it like a man."
Match 5: Janus vs. Justice
Commander Sam sends out another contender to face Janus, and things go differently this week. Even though the match is back-and-forth, Janus gets Justice to submit in the GORDIAN KNOT.
Backstage: Magnus Colby
Colby and Splatter are watching Janus' match on a monitor in the back, with a little disgust at his victory. Colby turns to Splatter and asks if he is ready for his 3-on-1 Gauntlet challenge issued by Darkos. Splatter completely destroys a locker with Arsenal, then looks at his club and tells it "you're ready."
Match 6a: Splatter w/ Magnus Colby vs. Marcel de Sade
MdS gives Splatter a long contest, but eventually goes down to THE SHREDDER.
Match 6b: Splatter w/ Magnus Colby vs/ Vyper
Splatter shows no ill-effects of the previous long match, and quickly ends things after a Pole Ram.
Match 6c: Splatter w/ Magnus Colby vs. Darkos
Splatter completes a sweep of the trilogy by ending Darkos quickly with THE SHREDDER.
After Match: Alpha Force
After Splatter decimates his opponents, Alpha Force walks out to the top of the ramp and stares down his future opponent. Alpha starts to head toward the ring, but halfway down the ramp, Janus' music hits. Janus comes to the top of the ramp, and all 3 stare at each other as the show goes off-air.
Champion List:
Champion: Alpha Force (8/2) Interdimensional: Infinity-Plex (6/10) Cosmos: Count Necros (8/12) Women's: Cassandra (8/16)
Tag Team: Dorado Sundown (Bullwhip & Blacklash) (3/24) Six-Man Tag Team: Asteroid, Defender of the Realm & Pulsar Prime (8/30)

GWF Chaos 9/16/96 Maelstrom Solarium, the Great Nebula, Orion
Ring: Commander Sam
He announces that Count Necros' injury (delivered by Asteroid after freeing Matador from Necros' control) is going to keep him from being able to defend the Cosmos Championship in the required timeframe, so a tournament for a new champion begins tonight and ends at Resurgence. Both Sam and Chaos will chose 8 men to participate, and the match-ups will be determined at random.
Chaos then comes out, telling the crowd not to believe Sam's lies--they are not working together smoothly. Sam's days as co-Commissioner are numbered, and the match he is having at Resurgence is a joke; everyone knows Sam is going to have Colossus represent him in the match for being the sole Commissioner. Sam tells Chaos that if he wants to face Colossus so badly, then he'll make up a contract for them to fight next week.
Match 1: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SECONDARY BRACKET FINAL: Animal Pack (Badger & Iron Mane) w/ Amazonia vs. Colossus & Heracles w/ Commander Sam
The match is more contentious than one would think as Colossus falls victim to ANDROMEDA DROP, and Animal Pack cements their slot in the Final 9.
Backstage: U.S. Patriot
U.S. catches Commander Sam leading his team back to the locker room, asking if he can get a match against Vigilante. Sam agrees to set it up as tonight's main event.
Match 2: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Defender of the Realm vs. Tendron w/ Doomsayer
Despite being worn down by THE SMOTHERING (7 fatigue tokens!), DotR shocks Tendron with a flying tackle coming from outside the ring to advance.
Locker Room: Infinity-Plex
Magnus Colby is asking if he will accept Alpha Force's challenge of getting a Championship shot if he allows Star Warrior to get an Interdimensional Championship match at Resurgence. Plex coldly responds that he has reached a decision.
GWF Revolution Highlights
Backstage: Vanity
The flamboyant one runs into his former manager Reynard B. Guile in the hallway. Vanity says to RBG to wish Pegasus luck in the Cosmos Championship Tournament, and RBG mutters something under his breath. When Vanity questions RBG about what he said, Guile looks scared and runs.
Match 3: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Mace w/ Destructon 3000 vs. Grunge
Back-and-forth contest won by Grunge after KILLER AIR GUITAR.
Ring: Infinity-Plex
After contemplating the double-edged offer put forth by Alpha Force, Plex has decided he wants no part of it, and instead will defend his title on Friday against Lance At-Las. The crowd boos heavily.
Match 4: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Billy Joe Boxer vs. Chopper Mattock w/ Reynard B. Guile
Boxer pulls off the minor upset after hitting Jawbreaker.
Johnny Rocket Interview w/ Lord Nexus
He is currently working with Trainer Jim to turn Ursa Major into a future superstar.
Match 5: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Death's Head w/ Cannibal vs. Killer Queen
Death's Head turns the match into a squash, winning quickly with Death's Head.
Dark Room: Splatter
Splatter is sitting quietly in the dark as Magnus Colby is next to him, holding a candle. Colby tells Splatter that there are so many people out there that deserve to meet Arsenal, perhaps someone will get a taste tonight?
Match 6: U.S. Patriot w/ Ms. Liberty vs. Vigilante
The match itself is quick as Vigilante wins with Rifle Shot. After the bell, Splatter and Dorado Sundown charge the ring, and the Tag Team Champions hold Vigilante as Splatter uses Arsenal repeatedly. Both Chaos and Alpha Force come out and clear the ring, then stare each other down as the show goes off-air.
Champion List:
Champion--Alpha Force (8/2) Interdimensional--Infinity-Plex (6/10) Cosmos--Count Necros (8/12) Women's--Cassandra (8/16)
Tag Team--Dorado Sundown (Bullwhip & Blacklash) (3/24) Six-Man Tag Team--Asteroid, Defender of the Realm & Pulsar Prime (8/30)

GWF Revolution 9/20/96 Arcturus Parthenon, Bootes
Match 1: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Mutant vs. Pegasus
The crowd goes crazy every time Mutant kicks out, but Pegasus wears the brute down and pins him after Ego Boost.
Backstage: Chaos
He meets secretly with Janus to let the Overman know that he will send someone ringside to ensure there is a new Champion at Resurgence.
Match 2: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Death Masque vs. Reptillo
After DM repeatedly throws him out of the ring, Reptillo goes on an offensive tear, and gets a three-count after a flying tackle.
Backstage: Reptillo
Excited by his big win, Reptillo is again greeted backstage by a spear from Ram. This time, Animal Pack are there and a brawl erupts. Badger puts Ram up against a wall, and Ram tells him they should finish this in a Titan Death Match at Resurgence.
GWF Chaos Highlights
Ring: Bishop Hell
He enters the ring to call out the Six-Man Tag Team Champions. He wants a rematch, and Asteroid and Pulsar Prime come out to the top of the ramp to find out who he could possibly team with since all his other partners have either defected or been injured. Hell says if they grant him the match, they'll find out and Resurgence, or maybe they'll find out now. As the Bishop finishes his sentence, the Mercenaries come out of the back and beat down the champs.
Match 3: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Quasar vs. Doomsayer
Tendron sneaks down to ringside during the match, and when Doomsayer throws Quasar out of the ring, Tendron piledrives Q onto the floor. Quasar is unable to get back into the ring on time, and Doomsayer advances on a count-out.
After Match: Quasar
After his opponents leave, a dazed Quasar grabs the microphone, and once again starts to drone on about GravBall, his childhood, role models, etc., and the fans boo at the length of his promo.
Commissioner's Office: Alpha Force
With all of Alpha and Star Warrior's previous attempts to get SW a match with Infinity-Plex at Resurgence failing, AF asks Sam if there is anything they can do to make it happen. Sam says they are going to have to force Magnus Colby's hand somehow.
Match 4: COSMOS CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND: Beast Rider vs. Darkos w/ Marcel de Sade
When Darkos looks like he is about to go down to BARBARIAN SHUFFLE, de Sade enters the ring and gives Beast Rider THUMBSCREW, causing his manager to get DQ'ed.
Krakan's Corner w/ Cannibal
The brutal manager laments that his stable will never be taken seriously if they can't crush bugs like Billy Joe Boxer and his friends. When asked about the anger that seems to be constantly directed at Enigma, Cannibal says there is no strife in the group, he just wants E to live up to his potential.
Match 5: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION BRACKET: Mercenaries (Vigilante & Soldier of Fortune) w/ Hitman vs. Royal Blood (Exo-King & Jack of Diamonds) w/ the Collector
Dorado Sundown come to ringside during the match and help escalate an out of ring brawl between the two teams. Bullwhip drills Soldier of Fortune with a chair and then throws it to Jack of Diamonds, who instinctively catches it. Exo-King is getting attacked by Blacklash nearby, and the referee takes control of the match back by disqualifying both teams. Both teams are upset with the decision, and Dorado Sundown slink away, happy at the chaos they created.
Locker Room: Magnus Colby
Colby congratulates Dorado Sundown on their actions when they return as he gets Infinity-Plex ready to go.
Match 6: Infinity-Plex w/ Magnus Colby vs. Lance At-Las for Interdimensional Championship
When Star Warrior comes out, Colby tries to take advantage of the situation by taking down Lance. At-Las stops Colby's attack, tosses him from the ring, gives I-P the MARTIAN MANHANDLER, and wins the title. At-Las then joins in with security as they try to stop Star Warrior from attacking Infinity-Plex.
