GWF Chaos 7/29/96 The Lava Pits of Primus, Primus
Locker Room: Meteor Storm
Astro Turk bursts in all excited. He tells Black Hole Bart that he has found something awesome. He was in the Commissioner's office looking to sign a Tag Team Championship contract, but no one was there. When he started looking around, he found "these"; Astro Turk is blocking the camera so that we cannot see what he is holding. Black Hole Bart then also gets excited and starts clapping.
Match 1: Vigilante w/ Hitman vs. Psycho w/ Frenzy
Frenzy tries to interfere, but Vigilante stops him before he can get into the ring. Vig then finishes Psycho off with POLICE BRUTALITY.
After Match: Splatter
The masked one seems to be going after Vigilante, but Hitman mixes it up with him before he can reach the ring. Chaos comes out and trades blows with Splatter, but is soon swarmed by the Futurists. Magnus Colby walks out with a microphone and tells Chaos "it is only a matter of time before my group takes you out for good."
Commissioner's Office: Commander Sam
Aware of what is happening to his co-Commissioner, Sam quickly enters his office saying "This has got to stop." Taking a second, he notices his office has been ransacked. He looks at an open drawer and asks out loud "Where are the Universal Tag Team Titles?"
Match 2: Lance At-Las vs. Tendron w/ Doomsayer
Lance wins after using flying head scissors.
Ring: Commander Sam
Angry, Sam calls on Magnus Colby to come back out. He asks that Colby stops the attacks both from Splatter and the Futurists on Chaos and the rest of the GWF roster, and in return he'll work with Magnus on getting the matches he wants after Chaos and Alpha Force fight for the Championship on Friday. Colby finally comes out, says "I'll see what I can do", before turning around and walking backstage.
GWF Revolution Highlights
Locker Room: U.S. Patriot
He and Ms. Liberty are discussing last Friday's upset win over Janus, and will wait to see what the Overman does next.
Match 3: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT WINNER'S BRACKET: Alpha Force & Mutant vs. Meteor Storm (Astro Turk & Black Hole Bart)
As insinuated, Meteor Storm come out with the defunct Universal Tag Team Titles that were merged into the Galaxian Tag Team Championship over a year ago. The belts don't do much for Meteor Storm though, as Alpha Force pins BHB after an Alpha Strike. Turk makes sure to scoop up the belts and head to the back, even before checking on his partner.
Backstage: Animal Pack
Amazonia is telling her team to keep it together tonight; they will finally get an opportunity to face Ram in the ring, but they don't want to spoil any chances of advancing in the Tag Team Tournament.
Match 4: Cassandra w/ Vanity vs. Maxine Babe w/ Vigilante
Cassandra wins easily after hitting Valet Crush.
After Match: Splatter
Making Colby's earlier statement confusing, Splatter runs toward the ring. Having already being attacked once, Cassandra suddenly squeals in fear and tries to get away. Vanity grabs Splatter before he can hurt Casssandra again, and is quickly joined by Vigilante. The two fight off Splatter, and then shake hands.
Johnny Rocket Interview w/ Defender of the Realm
DotR issues an open challenge for the Cosmos Championship two weeks from tonight.
Match 5: Pulsar Prime vs. Creeper
After Creeper starts out on offense, Pulsar Prime comes back and wins with SOLAR STRAIN.
Backstage: Occult Overlord
The manager is giving Ram & Gemini a similar speech as Amazonia did earlier--take your shots at Badger, but don't ruin any chances of advancing in the Tag Team Tournament (albeit with a darker edge).
Match 6: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT WINNER'S BRACKET: Animal Pack (Badger & Iron Mane) w/ Amazonia vs. Gemini & Ram w/ Occult Overlord
Ram attacks Iron Mane before the bell rings, and keeps the offense up when the match turns official. IM jumps out of the tunbuckle as Ram comes charging in, sending his former friend to the floor. The two fight outside the ring, and the referee runs over to stop Gemini from getting involved. That allows Animal Pack to double-team Ram with a spike piledriver, and Ram cannot get back into the ring and is counted out. Again, the ref jumps in Gemini's way when he goes to attack the other team as they celebrate victory.
Champion List:
Champion--Chaos (5/12) Interdimensional--Infinity-Plex (6/10) Cosmos--Defender of the Realm (12/31/95) Women's--Rhea (7/7)
Tag Team--Dorado Sundown (Bullwhip & Blacklash) (3/24) Six-Man Tag Team--Count Necros, Matador & Bishop Hell (5/31)

It is cool that Meteor Storm found the belts but the way they were so excited I thought they had a couple tickets to Madonna's Final, Final, She Means It This Time Farewell Tour concert.

Splatter might be barking, Mercenaries...Chaos....Cassandra? are we going to see a company wide beat down of the Lottery inventor? who has the belts? and what will Sam do when its revealed? the Futurists that remain have been too quiet. Infinty-Plex an Rhea's silence make one nervous

GWF Revolution 8/2/96 Matador's Great Bull Ring, Taurus
Match 1: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SECONDARY BRACKET: Deathknight II & Ghengis Khan vs. Enigma & Death's Head w/ Cannibal
The tournament teams with one loss start to face each other, and an upset kicks things off: Cannibal yells at the ref when DK uses a loaded glove on Enigma, but his team can never regain offensive momentum and E gets pinned after Ghengis Khan uses TWIN THRIST.
Ring: Chaos
He comes out to complain that he is being forced into defending his Championship tonight, and that Commander Sam is working with Magnus Colby against him. Chaos tries to play the victim, saying his half of the Commissioner duties are being undermined. Commander Sam enters the ring to tell his partner he is taking advantage of his power and needs to be held in check. Chaos responds to Sam by saying the dual Commissioner idea isn't working and they need to figure out a way for there to be only one.
Match 2: Justice vs. Dynamo w/ Reynard B. Guile
After last week's count-out victory by Dynamo, Justice is able to get a surprise cover after dodging a turnbuckle squash leading to a three-count.
Promo
A bunch of images and lights are followed by fireworks, then a flash of a cape. A familiar voice saying "Next week, I'm back" signals a return to action from Star Warrior, much to the crowd's delight.
Backstage: Doomsayer
The creepy manager passes Amazonia in the hallway, and a slap is heard but not seen. Amazonia is not thrilled, but keeps her emotions in check.
GWF Chaos Highlights
Locker Room: Commander Sam
Still frustrated by his earlier encounter with Chaos, Sam attempts to get Heracles prepared for his match later tonight. Colossus tells Sam that he and Heracles have been talking, and they think they may have a way to help him.
Match 3: Matador of M83 w/ Count Necros vs. Asteroid
Asteroid spends a portion of the match trying to shake Matador out of Necros' deprogramming. It seems to work slightly when Matador stops Necros from getting involved in an out-of-ring brawl. Asteroid manages to get out of the way later when Matador charges at him propped up against the ring post. A gets back into the ring, and Matador is counted out, unable to recover.
Commissioner's Office: Janus
He is still fuming over his loss to U.S. Patriot, and is venting to Chaos about it. The Champion makes a promise to "his old friend" that he will take care of it.
Match 4: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SECONDARY BRACKET: Asylum (Psycho & Frenzy) vs. Ursa Major & Trainer Jim
A good back-and-forth contest that ends with Frenzy pinning TJ after PSYCHOTHERAPY.
Krakan's Corner w/ Vanity
Vanity hasn't been seen with Reynard B. Guile in a while, is he still V's manager? Vanity is non-committal in his answer, instead talking about Cassandra and how he hopes to guide her back to the Women's Championship and help her get over her fear of Splatter.
Match 5: Heracles vs. Soldier of Fortune w/ Hitman
Hitman gets involved, distracting Heracles after using OLYMPIA. Later in the match, Heracles punches out Hitman, and is able to use OLYMPIA without incident to get the victory.
Backstage: Commander Sam
After watching Heracles win his match on a monitor, Sam goes to Magnus Colby's locker room. When Colby invites him in, Sam asks that the manager doesn't send anyone out to interfere in tonight's main event; too much of the future of the GWF is riding on the outcome.
Match 6: Chaos vs. Alpha Force for Galaxian Heavyweight Championship
After deferring his title opportunity for winning the Rigel Royal Rumble until the Futurist threat was over, and facing a Chaos that no longer has the Alpha Stone, Alpha Force makes the most of his chance. The match is quick, and AF gets the win on his third straight ULTIMATE FORCE attempt.
After Match: Chaos
Showing no emotion after getting pinned, Chaos immediately rolls out of the ring and heads to the back. He walks to Magnus Colby's locker room and bursts through the door. Finally, Chaos lets the anger out by slapping Colby around a couple of times screaming "Where is my Alpha Stone?" Chaos is then swarmed by Infinity-Plex and Dorado Sundown, who hold him while Splatter bashes him several times with Arsenal.
Champion List:
Champion--Alpha Force (8/2) Interdimensional--Infinity-Plex (6/10) Cosmos--Defender of the Realm (12/31/95) Women's--Rhea (7/7)
Tag Team--Dorado Sundown (3/24) Six-Man Tag Team--Count Necros, Matador & Bishop Hell (5/31)

Chaos has his mind elsewhere and against a 2nd generation star like Alpha it is not wise to do He's making way too many enemies, and not wrapping up any feuds before starting another. By wanting the Alpha Stone back, being the lone Commissioner, and getting the Championship again, Chaos may explode, and the GWF may not want to be around when that happens. Always love the post-show thoughts!

GWF Chaos 8/5/96 The Arena, Polpoos, Vero
GWF Revolution Highlights
Ring: Chaos
The co-Commissioner comes out to once again play the victim, signing a contract for a rematch for the Championship against Alpha Force in a Cosmic Cage at GWF Resurgence. Commander Sam comes out and says "Not so fast." Sam explains that Splatter is in the mix for the title, and since Chaos wants to get revenge on him for having the Alpha Stone, Chaos won't mind a match where the winner will take on Alpha.
Suddenly, Janus' music hits, and the Overman comes down to remind Chaos that he "would take care of his old friend", and therefore Janus should face Splatter, with the winner taking on Chaos, then getting a shot at the Champion. Sam puts his hand to head to stop his sudden headache, when U.S. Patriot comes out. U.S. says he recently beat Janus, so he should be in the mix as well. Chaos, Janus and U.S. Patriot continue to squabble until Sam yells "Enough!" and makes a mini-tournament: Chaos will face Splatter on Friday, Janus faces U.S. tonight, and the winners will face off the following Friday to determine the #1 contender.
Backstage: Meteor Storm
Astro Turk is psyching Black Hole Bart up for...something.
Match 1: Chopper Mattock w/ Reynard B. Guile vs. Mace
CM wins a quick match with BATTLE AXE.
Commissioner's Office: Magnus Colby
Colby busts in on Commander Sam, yelling "That's NOT what I wanted." Sam tells him "If you hate that, you're really not going to like this: next week, Infinity-Plex is going to defend the Interdimensional Title against Dreggs." Colby storms off in a huff.
Backstage: Darkos
The manager is with Vigilante and Vanity, who are agreeing to guard the ring from any attacks from Splatter during Vyper & Marcel de Sade's Tag Team Tournament Match later tonight. Hitman walks up and interrupts, throwing his arm around Darkos and smiling. "Let's talk price...shall we?" Hitman asks.
Match 2: Quasar vs. Pegasus w/ Reynard B. Guile
Quasar stops RBG from interfering, then hits HIGH ROLLER to get the win.
Match 3: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SECONDARY BRACKET: Vyper & Marcel de Sade w/ Darkos vs. Savage Kingdom (Wildcat & Stalker) w/ Beast Rider
Vigilante and Vanity do stand guard, but hear something backstage, and leave. Darkos gets spooked now that his team is vulnerable, and he grabs a chair. Darkos blatantly smashes Wildcat to get his team disqualified, and they quickly leave the ring area before any attacks can happen.
Ring: Meteor Storm
With both men holding the stolen Universal Tag Team Championship belts high, Astro Turk explains that Meteor Storm is on a roll and ready to face the Tag Team Champions. Dorado Sundown comes out to the top of the ramp and ask MS if that's what they really want. Turk excitedly keeps yelling yes, and so DS offers them their shot later this month. Commander Sam comes out shaking his head, telling Dorado Sundown they are not getting away that easily for this month's title defense. If Meteor Storm can beat them on Friday, then they will get a title shot. DS shrug, while Meteor Storm celebrate.
Match 4: Vanity vs. Killer Queen
Good match between former partners that ends when Vanity hits LADIES' CHOICE.
After Match: Dorado Sundown
As Vanity leaves the ring area, he is attacked by Dorado Sundown at the backstage entrance. They stomp on him a few times, and then Magnus Colby comes out. He kneels in Vanity's face and yells "Protect people? No one is safe from us!"
Johnny Rocket Interview w/ Amazonia
JR asks her about what is going on with Doomsayer. Amazonia is vague and quickly moves on to tell Ram she has a surprise for him coming up.
Match 5: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT SECONDARY BRACKET: Royal Blood (Exo-King & Jack of Diamonds) w/ the Collector vs. Keepers of the Stone (Rogue & Scourge) w/ Magnus Colby
The match is long and fantastic, but Chaos comes out to spoil the ending. He grabs Scourge's staff, enters the ring, and attacks its owner as he attempts to pin Exo-King. Chaos slams Rogue over the head with it as well. Dorado Sundown, Infinity-Plex and Rhea run down to slow down Chaos' attack. When all seems lost for the co-Commissioner, he is bailed out by the odd grouping of Vanity, Vigilante, Darkos, Vyper and Marcel de Sade, who cause Colby and his stable to retreat.
Match 6: Janus vs. U.S. Patriot w/ Ms. Liberty
Janus is all business, taking out U.S. in three moves. The Overman looks into the camera and says nothing will stop him from winning the Championship.
Champion List:
Champion--Alpha Force (8/2) Interdimensional--Infinity-Plex (6/10) Cosmos--Defender of the Realm (12/31/95) Women's--Rhea (7/7)
Tag Team--Dorado Sundown (Bullwhip & Blacklash) (3/24) Six-Man Tag Team--Count Necros, Matador & Bishop Hell (5/31)

GWF Revolution 8/9/96 Star Dome, Third Planet, Sagitta
Backstage: Meteor Storm
Excited about their match tonight for a potential Tag Team Title shot, Astro Turk slaps the Universal Tag Team belt draped over his shoulder and says to Black Hole Bart "No matter what happens tonight, we still got these!"
Match 1: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT WINNERS BRACKET: Animal Pack (Badger & Iron Mane) w/ Amazonia vs. Alpha Force & Mutant
The semifinals of the undefeated members in the tournament is being held tonight. The surprising team of Alpha & Mutant control the offense most of the match, but a hot tag by Iron Mane leads to FINAL POUNCE, and Mutant goes down to the three count.
Backstage: Alpha Force
As the Champion makes his way back to his locker room, he runs in the path of Chaos. The former Champion puts his hand on the belt and tells Alpha "this will be mine once again."
Match 2: Lance At-Las vs. Tendron w/ Doomsayer
A back-and-forth match ends when Lance hits the MARTIAN MANHANDLER to pick up the victory.
Backstage: Star Warrior
The crowd gives a huge ovation when SW is shown on the screen talking to Alpha Force.
GWF Chaos Highlights
Backstage: Chaos
He has gathered Vigilante, Vanity and Darkos to plan some sort of revenge on Splatter after previous attacks.
Match 3: TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT WINNERS BRACKET: Colossus & Heracles w/ Commander Sam vs. Second Order (Raven & Holocaust) w/ Destructon 3000
Two friendly teams become less friendly as the competition intensifies; Heracles loses his temper in an out of ring brawl and gets disqualified for smashing Raven into the steel post. Tensions are diffused when Sam and 3000 force the teams to shake hands after the match.
Backstage: Asteroid
After breaking through Count Necros' control over Matador in their match last week, Asteroid meets with Justice to enlist him in his attempt to free the mind-controlled wrestler. Justice has no love lost for Matador, but will help if Asteroid can't find anyone else.
Match 4: Dorado Sundown (Bullwhip & Blacklash) w/ Magnus Colby vs. Meteor Storm (Astro Turk & Black Hole Bart) in a non-title match
An amazing match! MS kick out of 5 pin attempts, and Dorado Sundown start to get frustrated with each other. The Champions completely break down at one point, getting into a shoving match after yelling at each other. The crowd gets crazier with every kick-out by Meteor Storm, turning the perennial losers into full-fledged faces. Vanity and Vigilante sneak down to ringside to try to help DS lose, but Colby gets into a shouting match with them as in-ring, the match reaches its inevitable outcome of the Tag Team Champions working together and pinning their opponents. The crowd gives Meteor Storm a huge ovation for their efforts.
Krakan's Corner w/ Doomsayer
Krakan asks about Amazonia: what favor did he do for her, what does she owe him, and can he tell the crowd in slow detail? Doomsayer promises all will be revealed in time.
Match 5: Star Warrior vs. Death Masque
Still amped from the Meteor Storm match, the crowd is then treated to the return of Star Warrior, fully recovered from injuries inflicted by being held captive by the Futurists. SW makes quick work of his opposition, winning with COSMIC BIG BANG.
Locker Room: Commander Sam
He pulls Colossus aside, and says "Depending on how things go tonight, I may take you up on your offer", referencing his team's idea to help him with his problem of having Chaos as a co-Commissioner.
Match 6: Chaos vs. Splatter w/ Keepers of the Stone
The winner of this match faces Janus next week to get a shot at Alpha Force at GWF Resurgence. Splatter refuses to submit despite being given BOW OF DEFEAT several times in a row, and Chaos sends him outside the ring to soften him up. Chaos smashes Splatter and both members of the Keepers of the Stone with a chair, and then forgets about the match and tries to get his Alpha Stone back. Magnus Colby runs out and manages to snatch the Stone before Chaos can get it in his possession. Chaos' new allies all flood the ring area, with Vanity and Vigilante blocking Colby's way backstage. Colby escapes through the crowd as Darkos, Vyper & Marcel de Sade lay a beating on Splatter, which ultimately causes a disqualification. Chaos is more upset with letting the Alpha Stone escape his grasp than he is with losing the match, but is pleased with how much punishment Darkos' crew gave to Splatter.
Champion List:
Champion--Alpha Force (8/2) Interdimensional--Infinity-Plex (6/10) Cosmos--Defender of the Realm (12/31/95) Women's--Rhea (7/7)
Tag Team--Dorado Sundown (Bullwhip & Blacklash) (3/24) Six-Man Tag Team--Count Necros, Matador & Bishop Hell (5/31)
