GWF Revolution 5/17/96 Titan Field, Badlands, CTA-102
GWF Chaos Highlights
Ring: Chaos and Commander Sam
The acting co-commissioners have a couple of announcements:
1) Even though Zachary Carter cancelled the Tag Team Tournament which is annually held in May & June, the two have decided to run it starting in July after the Omega Memorial (coming 7/7)
2) The Omega Memorial itself will feature War Games (usually held in September) between the GWF and the Futurists, with more information about the stakes to come.
Match 1: Second Order (Raven & Holocaust) w/ Destructon 3000 vs. Enigma & Death's Head
A good match ends when Raven pins Death's Head after a piledriver.
Locker Room: Actagon
Word of Fury's tale Monday night have reached the Greek God, and he is furious. Infinity approaches him, and Actagon calls out the Futurist leader for lying to him. Infinity says that Fury is trying to cover up his own failings by lying, and maybe Actagon should burn some of that anger off against him in the ring.
Match 2: Grunge vs. Black Hole Bart
Grunge wins quickly with KILLER AIR GUITAR.
Backstage: Destructons
Destructon 3000 rounds a corner and runs into Destructon 4200. When 3000 remarks that they are finally meeting, 4200 responds by challenging him to a match tonight so that he can show 3000 just outdated the manager is.
Match 3: Pulsar Prime vs. Count Necros
In a lightning-fast contest, PP reverses the first move, hits Star Smasher, and gets a pin on Necros. The Count is livid at what happened.
Backstage: Reynard B. Guile
The manager is with Vanity Fair, and they are watching Grunge at the craft services table. Guile says to his team "Look at him being all smug" before approaching the wrestler. Guile yells "We haven't forgotten what you did to us to make us lose a shot at the Tag Team Titles!" Grunge puts a piece of bread on top of his sandwich, looks at Guile, says "whatever" and walks away.
Match 4: Asylum (Psycho & Frenzy) vs. Mercenaries (Vigilante & Soldier of Fortune) w/ Hitman
Soldier of Fortune lays out Frenzy with the end of Hitman's rifle outside the ring as Vigilante distracts the referee, and Frenzy is unable to get back in the ring before the 10 count is reached.
Krakan's Corner w/ Amazonia & Serpent UnMan
Can Amazonia calm UnMan down enough to be an Ani-Man again? UnMan finds Amazonia soothing, and she will find a way to heal his scars and revert him back to Reptillo.
Match 5: Destructon 3000 vs. Destructon 4200
3000 is mostly on offense the entire match, but when he looks to deathjump 4200 after an out of ring brawl, the referee gets in his way. 3000 is angry that the ref is trying to stop him, and ends up throwing the official to the other side of the ring, getting himself disqualified.
Commissioner's Office: Co-Commissioners
Commander Sam mentions to Chaos that Splatter hasn't disrupted anything tonight. Chaos responds that maybe Marcel de Sade fighting back on Monday has put an end to that, but they will need to find Magnus Colby to make sure.
Wrestler Check-In:
-Tendron feeding his hair snakes -Cardsharks playing actual cards -Fury walking towards the ring
Match 6: Fury vs. Actagon
Actagon does indeed take out his anger on Fury, beating the former Gladiator with his new finisher ANCIENT MYSTERIES. After the match, the Futurists come down and gang attack Actagon. Destructon 4200 and Beta Clarion hold Actagon as Infinity punches him and stomps him several times when down, yelling at him that he shouldn't have questioned anything. The crowd roars when Proteus and Heracles run down and fight off the Futurists.

Locker Room: Doomsayer
Commander Sam and Lord Nexus are checking in with the mad genius to see how his time machine repairs are going. DS tells them everything should be fine within a couple of weeks.
Match 1: Justice vs. Astro Turk
Predictable squash where Justice rolls up AT after a turnbuckle miss.
Ring: Chaos
The Co-Commissioner comes out to issue a challenge to Infinity. When Infinity comes to the top of the ramp, Chaos informs him he will get a rematch for the Championship 2 weeks from tonight. The winner of that match will face Alpha Force at the Omega Memorial. Next week, Alpha Force will defend the Interdimensional Title against Infinity-Plex, and if AF wins the Futurists must release Star Warrior or else the Time Variance Authority will be contacted. Infinity lets Chaos know it won't have to come to that and accepts the terms.

KQ wins quickly with WARP SPEED and Doomsayer storms off quickly, looking annoyed that he stopped his time machine repairs.
Spaceport: Magnus Colby

GWF Revolution Highlights
Ring: Magnus Colby

Match 3: Mercenaries (Vigilante & Soldier of Fortune) w/ Hitman vs. Savage Kingdom (Wildcat & Stalker) w/ Beast Rider

Commissioner's Office: Infinity
Infinity tracks down Chaos and lets him know the Futurists have made a lot of concessions despite having Star Warrior as leverage. Tonight, Infinity wants revenge on U.S. Patriot for his role in last week's tag team main event. Chaos will make the match because U.S. would be more than happy to face Infinity.
Match 4: Ursa Major & Trainer Jim vs. Creeper & Black Hole Bart
A surprisingly good match ends when BHB rakes UM's eyes, and then pins the youngster even though he was close to the ropes. Ursa freaked out a little being blinded temporarily and it cost him the match.
Johnny Rocket Interview w/ Count Necros
Why is Matador suddenly following your orders? "Because he knows when to throw in with a winner." What about a match with Pulsar Prime? "He will get what's coming to him on Friday."
Match 5: Splatter vs. Marcel de Sade w/ Vyper
During an out of ring brawl, Vyper crawls out from under the ring and brutally attacks Splatter, causing MdS to be disqualified. Once the bell rings, an unexpected visit from Hitman and the Mercenaries spells trouble for Vyper and Marcel as the threesome completely annihilates Splatter's attackers.

U.S. is still on high energy and bounces up quickly after the win, kicking Infinity until he falls to the floor. Ms. Liberty makes sure Larrs doesn't attack post-match by dropkicking him off the apron, and then joins her man in a huge celebration with the crowd after the big victory.

Match 4: Dynamo w/ Reynard B. Guile vs. Heracles
Unexpectedly, Dynamo isn't much of a challenge and goes down to OLYMPIA.
Krakan's Corner w/ Doomsayer

Commissioner's Office: Lord Nexus
Commander Sam tells Lord Nexus he's happy that things have been relatively quiet tonight, but the next 2 matches could change that.
Match 5: Pulsar Prime vs. Bishop Hell w/ Count Necros
A great contest that ends when Hell manages to hit PP with HELLFIRE. After the bell rings, Necros slides into the ring and forces Pulsar into a corner. GWF Chaos 5/27/96 Performance Square, Home Base, Rijed
Ring: Infinity
As always, he makes good on his promise--Star Warrior is in the building, awaiting the outcome of the Interdimensional Championship main event. Unlike with Alpha Force, there will be no dramatic rescue this time, the Futurists are prepared. Infinity is also looking forward to destroying Chaos next week and winning the Championship back.
With mention of his name, Chaos comes out to the top of the ramp to tell Infinity he's lucky to get a rematch with all the losses he's been racking up lately. Chaos tells the Futurist leader he is a nuisance, and if the GWF wins War Games at the Omega Memorial, the invaders must leave the timeline. Infinity agrees and will add his own stipulation later.
Match 1: Cardsharks (Jack of Diamonds & Killer Queen) vs. Cosmic Forces (Matter & Anti-Matter) w/ Doomsayer
When Jack breaks up a pin attempt, he is forced back to his corner by the referee. Matter uses the situation to his advantage by throwing KQ out of the ring. Doomsayer smashes Queen with a chair hard, and the wrestler cannot get back into the ring before a 10-count.

Vigilante drops Vyper after Punisher Smash in a match that was a step above a squash.

The Futurists taunt Alpha, but then take things up a notch by punching and kicking the helpless Star Warrior. AF can't take the distraction, and runs out of the ring to attempt to save his brother. The Futurists keep him occupied long enough for the referee to count him out of the ring, and then they turn the tide and overwhelm Alpha with their numbers. When GWF members come out to help, Beta Clarion and Rune Larrs manage to grab Star Warrior and disappear.

Match 1: Animal Pack (Badger & Iron Mane) w/ Amazonia vs. Sign of the Zodiac (Mesmer & Gemini) w/ Ram
Ram takes Occult Overlord's managerial spot after Overlord was attacked by Splatter. Despite Animal Pack being on offense most of the match, Mesmer catches Iron Mane with EVIL EYE and gets a three-count. Instead of helping Iron Mane up after the loss, Badger challenges Ram to get in the ring, but his former tag partner refuses. Badger responds by throwing Mesmer hard into the turnbuckle, causing him to flip over and catch his shoulder on the ring post outside. Ram collects the injured Mesmer and tells Badger "soon".
Commissioner's Office: Destructon 3000

The masked one seeks blood yet again, this time going after Grunge. A few shots from Arsenal puts Grunge down, and he needs medical attention after Splatter leaves.

The Greek God tells Commander Sam "you know I'll fight them anywhere, anytime. I look forward to the battle."
Match 4: Destructon 3000 vs. Destructon 4200

Krakan's Corner w/ Chopper Mattock
He is almost back from injury, and when he returns he is looking to perfect his solo skills.
Match 5: Flying Titans (Pulsar Prime, Dragonmaster & Sectarian) vs. Count Necros, Matador & Bishop Hell for Six-Man Tag Team Championship
Dragonmaster does indeed come to the ring, but dressed in his old Pit Viper outfit, hoping the mask gives some protection to his head. The other Titans never tag DM in the entire match, knowing that a wrong hit could injure their friend severely. Instead, Matador catches Pulsar Prime with BULLWHIP, and his partners subdue Sectarian to ensure the pin and crown new champions.
Wrestler Check-In:
-Heracles & Proteus working out -Vyper letting snakes crawl all over him -Fury firing up Actagon
Match 6: Actagon w/ Fury vs. Rune Larrs w/ Infinity
