Got both sets yesterday as well... Can't wait to get both Red Talon and the Duke integrated into my GWF (even though I've already reached 2092 in the game)... In fact, I currently have a storyline involving the AniMen that Talon might fit into nicely...
As for the newly imagined versions of Sam, Terror, Queen and Nexus - That is something I think might be best left for the post-New Beginnings era...

I know,long time COTG Players will probably tar and feather me for that,but i think Red Talon would fit also very well for FTR.Or maybe also Chikara.And
the alternative Comrade Terror as a Tag Partner for Hammerhead in the 80s MW?

Currently in my reboot I'm in 2092, half way done. I figure I'll add Red Talon and Duke in. the alternate of Queen, Nexus, Terror & Sam well I might add them to my 2131/32 line up.

Definitely adding Duke and Talon to my 2087 fed, the other 4 will probably bring into my current fed, Terror btw is freaking awesome!

Duke lost his first match in 2087 as Exo King's mystery opponent. Talon won his debut against Pulsar. I like the idea of using some with 80's mania. or I might bring Sam, Terror and Nexus to the Bunkhouse.

Say whaaaaaaaaaaat? Any long time player, like myself, would say go for it. If there is but one truth in this universe it is this, "It is up to YOU promoter". Nothing wrong with sticking to the canon that Tom has set up is fine but nothing wrong with mixing it up and doing your own thing. Hell that is all I do any more. I love reading what Tom comes up with and I use it for inspiration but I do my own thing. |
