GLADIATORS
Berserk
Main Feuds: Scar and Aethran Vanguard
Tag Teams: (Occasionally forms a tag team with Agony)
The jig is up. It has been rumored that Berserk has been getting DNA hormone treatments to help facilitate his
explosive temperament and proven true when “Project – 8” was raided and destroyed. Berserk languished for his
first couple of matches afterward, however rebounded after his fusion treatment with the super-powered Omicron
comet fragment. With that in his past he has now taken it upon himself to test GWFZ’s Scar. Will he relapse and
need more treatment or was his fusion treatment a permanent deal?
Fissure
Main Feuds: Nemesis and Aethran Vanguard
Tag Teams: (None)
Fissure has been one of the top wrestlers for several years now, but things are poised to change. A “Trial by Force”
has been issued and she needs to respond in a way that a Gladiator should, with strength and loyalty. Being one of
the senior Gladiators on the roster, Fissure has taken it upon herself to go after the spokesman of the uprising,
Nemesis. Has this upstart and his crew bitten off more than they can chew? Fissure is looking to make an example of
Nemesis and his followers by showing the AAW what being a Gladiator is all about.
Hack
Main Feuds: Devium, Breakdown and Aethran Vanguard
Tag Teams: Slash (Defenders of Aethra)
Hack and Slash have put down opponent after opponent tagging as the Defenders of Aethra. Together they have
outlasted just about every other tag team they have encountered, and have dominated them all. This year,
however, they are being challenged by “Rank M” wrestlers Devium and Breakdown in a tag team showdown. Can
they continue to do what they are known for, or will age catch up to them?
Slash
Main Feuds: Breakdown, Devium and Aethran Vanguard
Tag Teams: Hack (Defenders of Aethra)
Slash is no stranger to the game. He has been tagging with Hack for a while now and knows when a threat is a
threat. This year he sees no imminent danger to his position as a Gladiator. Slash sees his opponents Breakdown and
Devium as well as the Aethran Vanguard team as little more than a distraction from the true threat. As far as Slash
is concerned he is looking forward to putting down these dissidents so that he and his partner can go on to bigger
and more ominous threats.
Slyther
Main Feuds: Aftershock, AniMen Uprising and Aethran Vanguard
Tag Teams: (None)
Just one year after joining with his fellow AniMen, Slyther betrayed them. It seems that his humble awestruck
attitude was just a mask for what he really was a “Serpynt of Syn.” In truth Slyther is an underhanded amoral
scheming creature.
His first move was to flock to Bloodmonger’s side after hearing that he was returning and had something planned.
After hearing of the procurement of the Omicron comet fragments and Bloodmonger’s general plan, Slyther then
contacted the Aethran Taskmaster and spilled all in return for a favor. Exactly what he received in return for his
faithful service has been speculated but has yet to be revealed; there are whispers that the Aethran Taskmaster
allowed him to undergo a Cleansing.
This year Slyther is a torn AniMan. He’s facing challenges from those who he was wrestling with two years ago, as
well as those who he was aligned with last year. One thing is for sure the fights are going to be as high octane
as they were before; however the Serpynt of Syn has now embraced his inner being forcing all enemies to their knees
as he slithers over them toward the top.
Agony
Main Feuds: Calamity, Crisis and Aethran Vanguard
Tag Teams: 34118 (Cellblock 7), (Occasionally forms a tag team with Berserk)
Big moves are being made in 2127 and one of them involves the Gladiator member Agony. In order to battle the
Aethran Vanguard team, this year Agony is being asked to form a tag team named Cellblock 7 with the psychopath
34118 and in his downtime tag with Berserk. Agony’s transition to tagging could actually be beneficial for the beast
and his team, because he still hesitates to finish off his opponents, preferring instead to continuously brutalize
them. Perhaps Agony can add more matches to his win column this year, due to his opponent going for the pin.
34118
Main Feuds: Crisis, Calamity and Aethran Vanguard
Tag Teams: Agony (Cellblock 7)
This crazy sadistic Aethran goes by the name of 34118, because he has legally lost the right to his Gladiator name
due to crimes so atrocious they cannot be mentioned again. The man who 34118 once was had his name removed
from all Aethran records and at his maximum security center was assigned the current numeral identification
number, which he has taken the liberty of having placed on his skin in numerous places. Though this man is
dangerous on all accounts, the Aethran Taskmaster has done what he can to get him into his fold in order to turn
the tide of power back to the Aethrans in their war with the Ancients.
Rumors insist that 34118 is so crazy that he had to have a neural inhibitor chip placed into him in order to deter
his psychotic episodes; a fact which the Aethran Taskmaster has rebuffed on several occasions. Although that fact
cannot be proven, what can be confirmed is the truth that even though 34118 lacks formal wrestling training he is
familiar enough to know the basics as well as perform several high risk maneuvers. That coupled with the fact that
this man is a true to life brawler advances this man’s in ring credibility.
Ordinarily 34118 would fit in with the AAW and its inhabitants, however it’s a new era and the younger generation
has stepped forward to challenge the establishment. What could be this man’s first year might also be his last. Only
time, performance, and a point system stand between this man’s illusion of communal integration and another cell,
or worse…

AETHRAN VANGUARD
Scar
Main Feuds: Berserk and Gladiators
Tag Teams: (Occasionally tags with Fracture as “Battle Scars”)
Scar has come home to Aethra and its AAW. The GWFZ wrestler has survived his latest feuds and still lives to tell
about them. Although he’s not here for long, his mark will be felt for some time to come.
Upon his arrival he wasted no time quickly aligning himself with the “Rank M” athletes and encouraging them to
stand up to question those who hold the keys. He has encouraged both Nemesis and Breakdown to voice their
opinion this year and the result is the “chaos in the ranks” that has all but shocked the Gladiator team. Could this
be because he still harbors some resentment for his treatment in 2124?
One thing is for sure, the team “led” by the accomplished GWFZ star isn’t going to stop until they get their just
desserts. It’s time to go big or go home conditions that Scar has known all too well for the last couple years. For
a traditional Aethran, “Trial by Force” requires that whoever is deemed unworthy must be expended. Scar has grown
by leaps and bounds these last couple years and now it’s time to show the Aethran fans.
Nemesis
Main Feuds: Fissure and Gladiators
Tag Teams: (None)
After harsh words in last year’s press conference directed toward the Aethran Taskmaster, Nemesis followed up this
year with even more dissention. With his voice calling for a new direction, the other “Rank M” wrestlers decided
that they, too, had had enough and decided that something desperate had to be done in order for them to advance.
Knowing that they would need some backup, Nemesis’ first action upon deciding to make his intentions known was
to contact GWFZ’s Scar. If the “Rank M” wrestlers were going to make the change they needed motivation,
dedication and experience. Scar had been in their position before and had managed to overcome his obstacles
reclaiming his life. What better an illustration to show them their possible future as they themselves have now
placed their lives on the line in their “Trial by Force?”
Breakdown
Main Feuds: Slash, Hack and Gladiators
Tag Teams: Devium (Devil’s Deux)
After sharing Nemesis’ thoughts, Breakdown decided to back the man up in his bid for advancement. The way
Breakdown sees it, it is probably best to put their lives on the line in this “Trial by Force” a life lost with
honor is better than a life lived without it. Noting a slight weakness in the Gladiator stable, Breakdown approached
Devium to tag with him against the aging Defenders of Aethra. The two, now calling themselves the Devil’s Deux, feel
that they have the youth, longevity, and knowhow to take it to one of the greatest tag teams in AAW history. Will
they be just another victim or will they walk over the crumbled remains of their opponents during their ascension to
the rank of Gladiator?
Devium
Main Feuds: Hack, Slash and Gladiators
Tag Teams: Breakdown (Devil’s Deux)
This crazy dude can sense the weakening of the AAW Gladiator team and hopes to capitalize on it with Breakdown.
Hoping to expose their limitations, the two have formed a tag team in order to take on Hack and Slash, the
Defenders of Aethra. Devium feels that Hack has been slowing as of late and he is just on the edge of cracking his
shell. The madman Devium knows that his crazy roughneck style is more than enough to take down any Gladiator,
especially Hack. Does the Devil’s Deux (what Breakdown and Devium call themselves) have what it takes to bring the
big men down? There’s only one way to tell, and that’s through one match at a time.
Aftershock
Main Feuds: Slyther and Gladiators
Tag Teams: (None)
After a couple years of stagnation, Aftershock has decided to back up his fellow “Rank M” athletes in their bid for
advancement. Initially upon hearing that he would have to place his life on the line for this “Trial by Force”
Aftershock was a little distressed, but after learning of Slyther’s betrayal his mind was eased a little more knowing
that he could resume his old feud. Hoping to pick up where the two left off a couple years ago, Aftershock is betting
his life on his past victories. Could this be a mistake? Slyther has hinted that things aren’t going to be the same as
they were because he’s a different man. Could things have really changed that much since two years ago? There’s
only one way for Aftershock to find out, and that’s in the ring.
Calamity
Main Feuds: Agony, 34118 and Gladiators
Tag Teams: Crisis (Cataclysm)
Years of stagnation and being ignored have finally gotten to Calamity as well. Together with Crisis, the two have
made a pact to trust each other with their future and to go for the win. The two “Rank M” athletes are going to have
their hands full with the crazy Gladiator Agony as well as the even crazier 34118, a mad man who has been recently
released from an Aethran maximum security facility. Calamity is hoping to cash in on the fact that Agony likes to see
his opponents struggle and beg for mercy rather than putting them away by mounting a surprise comeback for a
win. If she’s right, she might just be a Gladiator next year.
Crisis
Main Feuds: 34118, Agony and Gladiators
Tag Teams: Calamity (Cataclysm)
Taking on the newest Gladiator this year falls on the “Rank M” wrestler Crisis. The extreme psycho known only as
34118 has for reasons unknown handpicked the chain wielding vixen to try to curb his appetite for devastation.
Looking to take advantage of the newcomers’ naivety, Crisis has placed her life on the line in order to rise to the
rank of Gladiator. Will 34118 be the stepping stone she has been looking for, or will he prove to be a stumbling
block? The one way to know for sure is to do it the Gladiator way, go all-in full steam forward with no reservations.
