Have ya considered printing playing cards in a full paper size? People are already surprised by the large size of the cards, I can't imagine what they would think of that.

I have a friend who's legally blind so when I was high school I blew up all the card backs so it was easier for him to read. Then he stopped playing and I lost all of those lol.

To be honest, it is an age thing. My eyesight is getting worse every year, so I thought maybe bigger cards with bigger writing.

This is an amazing topic. At first I thought that was a silly idea -- but now I think it's brilliant!
I wonder if there would be a simple, inexpensive way to do this.

When I was in school I had to figure out how to blow up the backs. If I can figure out the sizing again I can post it here. With that information all you'd have to do is go to your local print shop and get them to print them out on card stock.

I'm legally blind as in my vision is 30/400... after a tear and deattchment in my left eye a few years ago. So, the left eye has to compensate for the right eye. I can read the cards just find, but I'm finding that it takes me longer and longer to write up my feds on the boards.
Now, that said you could enlarge the backs of the cards in photoshop. But, you would probably have to increase the size of the cards from 4x6 to something else.

This would have been a much weirder question a month ago before I started wearing reading glasses. When I used to draw my own cards, I used an 8.5 x 11 page, which is four times the standard card size. It would make a great size for a large print edition.
