The board seems extra quiet this weekend. Anything noteworthy happen at the Con? Legends news? Next year's location? Any new indie promotions getting sets? Plans for current indie promotion update sets?
I haven't even seen an review of the ROH show

The board seems extra quiet this weekend. Anything noteworthy happen at the Con? Legends news? Next year's location? Any new indie promotions getting sets? Plans for current indie promotion update sets? I haven't even seen an review of the ROH show I am currently flying out of Philly and about to land in St. Louis, so I will have to post more of a review later. But to briefly answer your questions. 1) Galacticon was awesome! Great seeing friends like Troy (who did an awesome job running the tournaments,) Tournament Master (he helped with my room and transportation all weekend long,) JeffG (who won this year's Galacticup,) Daytondave (who won last year's Galacticup- this year he won 3 tournaments and drove me to the airport this afternoon,) Mike Fortune (who with Tom being absent this weekend is now the only person to attend every Galacticon,) Lyle Williams (great seeing Lyle again and getting to talk with Lyle during one of my many early exits from the tournaments about CZW and the next CZW set we are working on together for Filsinger Games,) Pete (he does an amazing job on his Crockett sets,) Sam (thanks for the tea!,) Sickman (I traveled further from Las Vegas- but nobody traveled longer than Sickman who drove from Orlando,) Brock (who did an amazing job hosting that Pittsburgh con back in April,) Jim Steel (easily one of my best friends on the board- I was so lucky to get to sit next to Jim at the ECW Arena on Saturday as he has been there hundreds of times,) Wiggy (who along with Lyle is probably one of the few people here who loves CZW more than me,) and Yolanda (who went with me, Tournament Master, and Wiggy to Tournament of Death 2013 3 years ago.) Hopefully I didn't forget to mention anybody. I was also really glad to finally meet Mike Melesky (I really admire his Early Classics and Wrestlemania IV work and I enjoyed talking to him about it,) and Pete Beck (we are lucky to have a guy like Pete in our military and he was great on giving me some info abut my next stop St. Louis as he lives there.) 2) Tom via closed circuit said the next LOW set in color gets released in December, no names announced. 3) next year's location is not finalized but Pittsburgh is being heavily mentioned/considered. I like Pittsburgh, it gets my vote. 4) no new Indy feds officially announced 5) no official announcements that I recall for the current Indy sets but at last night's ROH TV tapings I signed one of the wrestlers who had been pushed back from this month's release due to not being signed. I bet that person is in the next set. others can add to this as I will later too (I am about to land in Missouri.) Great weekend, looking forward to Galacticon next year!

Just got home, had a heck of a great time despite an annoyingly long trip. Was great meeting up with all sorts of old and new friends, running the tournaments was great (you can run 8 tournaments in 6 hours, but I'd never suggest doing so......we were playing a breakneck pace) The ROH show was fun if long, and I was amazed how over Dalton Castle is. Talked with TM about a lot of stuff and there's a TON of great stuff in the works and the wrestler Vegas signed is definitely going to make several fans happy I think.
My only regret was Jim and Wiggy being a bit down due to issues with parents. Other than that, amazing time, thanks to everyone who attended, hope you all enjoyed the tourneys and next year maybe we'll vary things up, and Pitt has my vote too as that's basically a straight shot for me either by bus or plane.

Gotta admit, it was a great way to relieve stress, even though I left and did not attend a show Saturday night, I did put the new cards to good use. I ask that NYC should be an option for next year, but hey, that's me talking. Great to meet and renew friendships and congrats to Jeff who won the tournament. Next year that cup is mine!!!

Vegas..........great write-up of the weekend. Killing me though with no mention of the Newbies Will and Jim that travelled from Seattle to get there . My two favorite FREE cards received last weekend were Rage and Pete Beck Good news on the ROH signing, keep Jay White on the Radar as well if he wasn't the guy. Good time all the way around with ROH TV 5-hour taping and Phillies game on Sunday. Anyone with any cool Fan Made content, matches, PDFs, etc. hit me up as I'm relatively new to boards and always looking for new ideas and character cards.

It was enjoyable having those newbies Will and Jim who were wild enough to travel from Seattle to join the regulars and semiregulars. There's all sorts of good stuff, so just let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I have to share.

Any recaps of the tournaments? Who did Jeff win with? I am pretty sure Tournament Master grabbed the brackets and intended to post recaps. We need to give him, Troy, and Jeff a little time to recuperate, they put on one heck of and event!
