Quick question I want to throw out there to promoters that play using physical cards... I found this a little odd with Rocky Romero's original card and now I've noticed the same thing on his updated 'Best in the World' card... Just wondering if it might be a misprint on the online version...
On his Level 2 Offense, there are no down-3 entries... And on his Level 3 Defense, there are only two down-3 entries... If I were playing COTG, I would take this at face value and assume its the way its meant to be... However, I have noticed that defense like this is an extreme rarity on LOTF cards... Almost every wrestler has at least three down-3 entries on their card - Either one on L2D and two on L3D... Or three on L3D... If someone could check on this and get back to me, it would be greatly appreciated... Many thanks!

Probably not as rare as you may think. I'm going through my current ROH roster and there are 7 out of the 30 cards I am using that only have two down-3s.

Way back in the day, they mentioned that the ROH guys would be a little stronger defensively and the Chikara guys a bit more offensively.

I am not a stat geek by any means (no offense intended to those that are), but Romero is not alone on his L2D. It does not look out of place either, it just gives him a stronger defense. I think Romero is properly rated as part of a mid-card tag team.

The stats are definitely impressive... But, I don't think I'll be using the new cards anytime soon... No plans to use them as RPG Vice and I think their previous cards work better for other scenarios.

That is one benefit of Indy-verse having different versions of wrestlers (i.e the new Trent and Romero). You can use the version that fits best for your storyline or scenario. For example, I use the Briscoe tag versions when they are in tag matches, and the singles versions for singles action.

We can discuss the wisdom of the move in another thread. lol

We can discuss the wisdom of the move in another thread. lol If you just went by their time in ROH, I agree they would be more of a mid card tag team. But consideration was also given to their success in NJPW (same with Kenny Omega) where they wrestle much more often than they do in ROH and where they have been 2 time IWGP Tag Team Champions. Also, although their reign was short, they were actually the current IWGP Tag Team Champions when I wrote and submitted the rough drafts for their cards.
