GWFZ: From The Beginning

In rolling out my GWFZ: ANZ fed, I realized that I have no real GWFZ foundation to start with. So I want to go back and start from the beginning with GWFZ to build a foundation for ANZ. So we will start in 2120 and use the PM roster plus one or two additions and go from there.

GWFZ: From The Beginning
2120.01

....GWFZ Trustee, Stellar Nexus is out to announce the 1st Round of the Universal title tournament....Based on RAHL Ratings, Morbid, Overtime, Dr Payne, & Assassin X will get first round byes....


--Our first match sees The Surgeon def. Sledgend w/ FINAL CUT in a dominating performance.


--Leviathan advances over The Legacy w/ LSD in a short bout. Nightmare Nikki was seen taking notes during this match as she seems to be scouting talent.


--The fans are solidly behind Pride, much to the chagrin of Hegemony. Pride shuts Hegemony up w/ a Running Chop Block to advance.


--In our final 1st Round match, Ensor faced TroyBoy. Ensor was thrown off his game early on due to TB's antics. However, Ensor gets focused, winning w/ ERUPTION OF THARSIS to advance.[/b]


--In our Main Event, Morbid/Assassin X faced Overtime/Dr Payne in a match where partners were drawn at random. The match was all about Overtime as Payne had to tag himself in on several occasions just to get in the match. Overtime would tag himself in as Morbid/Payne were trading right hands.

Overtime hits a crossbody from the top for a nearfall before hitting consecutive CLINCHERS to pick up the win for his team. Afterwards, a shoving match between Morbid/Overtime ensued as Overtime gloated in Morbid's face. Stellar Nexus had to separate the two as Nexus is overheard trying to give Overtime some sportsmanship pointers but Overtime didn't seem to listen.

GWFZ: From The Beginning
2120.02

....GWFZ Trustee, Stellar Nexus is out for the random draw to determine the Quarterfinal pairings of the Universal title tourney....

--In the non-tourney opener, Symbiote/Dark Star Creature II def. The Legacy/Cuddley Claw when Claw falls asleep after hitting Symbiote w/ a Swinging Hurricanrana. Symbiote follows w/ YOURS IS MINE for the finish.


--Assassin X draws The Surgeon in our first QF match & puts him away w/ CONTRACT KILLING in a short match-up.


--Morbid draws Leviathan as Nightmare Nikki is once again out scouting talent. Leviathan goes on to score a big upset as he advances w/ LSD.


--Dr Payne draws Pride and the two put on a great match. Payne survives Pride's onslaught with help from Nurse Elizbeth. Elizabeth would factor into the finish as she distracts Pride, allowing Payne to win the match with a Shining Wizard.


--In the Main Event, Overtime faced Ensor in the last QF match. Ensor would put up a great fight but Overtime would hit 6 CLINCHERS in the match to pick up the win. The fans booed Overtime as he picked the downed Ensor up for the final CLINCHER. Overtime celebrated to a mixed reaction from the crowd afterwards.

GWFZ: From The Beginning
2120.03

--We open the match with Pride/Ensor in the ring. The Surgeon comes out & starts running down the heroes. Pride tells Surgeon to find a tag team partner & almost immediately Hegemony walks out, much to the chagrin of Surgeon.

Pride/Ensor trap Hegemony in the ring & don't allow the loud-mouth to tag out. Ensor ends the match w/ ERUPTION OF THARSIS on Hegemony for the finish.


--Our first SF match of the Universal title tourney sees Leviathan face Overtime. Leviathan pulls off the upset, winning w/ LSD to advance to the finals. Nightmare Nikki applauded Leviathan's efforts as the two nodded to each other. Could a partnership be in the making?


....Afterwards, Overtime was irate, throwing chairs & tables around ringside....He demanded Stellar Nexus give another opponent now....TroyBoy steps out from the curtain & skips to the ring, much to the anger of Overtime....

--In a non-tourney match, an angry Overtime gets very frustrated at the antics of TroyBoy. TroyBoy seizes the advantage & wins w/ RUMP THUMP. Overtime had to be physically restrained & carried to the back afterwards.


--In the Main Event, Dr Payne wore Assassin X down w/ the KO TEMPLE CLAW before putting AX down for good w/ a Spinning Back Kick. Dr Payne advances to the finals to face Leviathan.

GWFZ: From The Beginning
2120.04

....Tonight, we crown our first ever Universal champion as Leviathan battles Planet Vega favorite, Dr Payne....Plus, Overtime battles TroyBoy....Let's go to the action....


--In the opener, Sledgend/The Legacy def. Dark Star Creature II/Symbiote by DISQUALIFICATION after DSCII is DQ'd for PRIMAL RAGE on Sledgend. Nightmare Nikki accompanied DSCII/Symbiote to the ring as she has started to form her super group.


--After the last match, an irate Sledgend challenged Dark Star Creature II to a singles match but goes down to DCSII's PRIMAL RAGE as Nikki had the ref distracted.


--The ultimate heroes, Pride/Ensor score another win over Surgeon/Hegemony after Ensor lands Leap From Olympus on Hegemony. Afterwards, a disgusted Surgeon drops Hegemony w/ FINAL CUT, vowing to never to tag w/ the loud mouth again.


--In a Grudge Match, Overtime overcomes the antics of TroyBoy, surviving RUMP THUMP before mounting a comeback & winning w/ consecutive CLINCHERS. Afterwards, OT taunts TroyBoy, who responds by shushing OT, before blowing him a kiss. A stunned OT becomes livid at the antics.


--In the Main Event in the finals of the Universal title tourney, Leviathan survives multiple KO TEMPLE CLAWS & storms back to beat Dr Payne w/ LSD to win the tourney & the title.

Afterwards, Nightmare Nikki proclaims Leviathan is her masterpiece of her new super group, Death Becomes You & presents him with the shiny gold belt to end the show.

GWFZ: From The Beginning
2120.05

....GWFZ Trustee, Stellar Nexus is out to announce the creation of the GWFZ tag team titles....Nexus announces a 6-team tournament with Pride/Ensor & Dr Payne/Surgeon getting 1st Round byes....Nexus calls out both Overtime & Morbid....Nexus tells the duo that he's putting them together as team in the tournament....OT immediately flies off the handle before Morbid grabs the mike to voice his displeasure of having to team with OT as well....Nexus tells them his decision is final and if they don't make an effort in their match, he will suspend them for the next 5 cards....OT & Morbid glare at each other to end the opening segment....


--In the opener, Assassin X makes short work of Cuddley Claw, winning w/ AX Bomber.


--In the GWFZ tag title tourney, The Legacy/Sledgend advance over Dark Star Creature II/Symbiote after Legacy locks Symbiote in INNER PEACE for the 4th time in the match.


--In our other GWFZ tag title tourney match, TroyBoy/Hegemony def. Morbid/Overtime after TroyBoy hits Morbid w/ RUMP THUMP as Overtime did not try to make the save.


....After the match, Overtime flips his lid, blaming everything on Morbid....Morbid gets in OT's face as OT issue a challenge right now....Morbid nods in agreement....Stellar Nexus come out and announces the winner will get a shot at Leviathan at 2120.06....

--In our Main Event, Morbid def. Overtime by COUNT-OUT to earn a shot at the Universal title. OT dominated the early parts of the match but Morbid kept coming back. Morbid grabs the advantage and locks in MORBIDLY CRUEL. Overtime is in the move for a long time but is finally able to make it to the ropes and slides to the floor when Morbid breaks the hold. OT just walks off, telling Morbid he'll get what's coming to him very soon.
