Goodbye and good riddance to the biggest pariah in baseball history. The fact that the Yankees are going to fork over 25 million dollars to him as a "special advisor" next season speaks volumes about how much they just wanted him to go away.
Hope he's not expecting a Fenway send-off (should he even play) like class acts Jeter and Rivera deservedly got...

I am a Mariners fan and Alex Rodriguez has got to be my least favorite former Mariner, not sad to see him retire.
on a side note about former Mariners- 2 of them just had a big weekend as 1) Ken Griffey Jr. had his number retired by the Mariners and got inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame and 2) Ichiro today got his MLB hit #3,000!
