PWG is #1 in the US

PWG, my personal favorite fed, is the highest ranked US fed and #3 overall on this cagematch list behind only NJPW and PROGRESS:

PROGRESS got voted #2 and somehow Shimmer and NOAH (albeit the NOAH votes are likely for what the promotion used to be as opposed to what it is now) are over WWE, CMLL, Evolve, Big Japan, Beyond Wrestling and DDT. There's two ways how I could sum up how I feel about that list and Cagematch ratings as a whole and I'll use both of them:

1.) LOL who cares what anyone on cagematch thinks that site's only good for searching match histories and laughing at people's stupid reviews
2.)

For the record, I'm not hating on PWG at all. I've been a big fan of PWG at points (have the DVD collection to back that up) and I'm genuinely happy they have the fan base they do and that they're putting out a product that people are that enthusiastic about, but the above isn't directed at that promotion or the fans at all. I don't know why, but I feel like I have to point that out so there it is. I'm just shitting on Cagematch because really the site is only good at laughing at the shitty reviews. A lot of people poke fun at Cagematch and ratings like the ones on that list and the 1.0 for Dynamite Kid because of who he was outside of the ring are a big reason why.

yeah, granted I have not seen either one before, but I find it hard to believe that BOTH German Stampede Wrestling and German Wrestling Federation are better than (for example) AAA which didn't even make this list.

I don't use cagematch not for its ratings like this but instead for mostly some of its databases including match histories of wrestlers which is an extremely useful source for looking up footage while working on card stats.

Of the feds I watch that are on this list, I would have ranked some of them differently- but I just found it interesting that an international perspective of fans likes PWG as the best US fed.
