I think I'm gonna give my real wrestler fed some love as well. Though this time, I'm not gonna do what I do for my GWFs in terms of presentation. I'm gonna go for a more simple, clean and easy to understand much like some GWF feds I'm following (specifically Rex's Into the Galaxy and Pariah's 2087 reboot, to give credit where it's most certainly due.) There is also one thing I want to note before I start this: My fed will have some people in it that I've seen locally, and are for the most part stationed here in the Southeast US, so what I'll do is before I start playing this, I'll make a thread dedicated to the bios of these guys, to give a clear understanding of who I'm using. Another thing is that I'm mixing current and past wrestlers. Now that the introduction stuff is out of the way... BackstoryIn another universe version of Earth, somebody else has a majority control of professional wrestling in the United States. That somebody's name is The Dark Menace. From his new home in Arizona, he established a new wrestling organization that is stationed in the capital city of Phoenix. The name of this organization: Phoenix Valley Wrestling, and he serves as its authority figure. His first act is to establish a World Champion, and he has decided to host a 32-man World Title Series which mimics the bracketology of the World Cup, and will be held in the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. In the first portion, which is a series of round robin match-ups, a win gets you 3 points, a draw, either via time limit or no contest, gets each competitor 1 point, and a loss, naturally, gets you none. The round robin portion features 8 groups of four competitors each, and they are as follows: Group of Honor Kevin Steen Tyler Black Bryan Danielson CM Punk
Group Japan Hiroshi Tanahashi Kazuchika Okada Shinsuke Nakamura KENTA
Group Juniors El Generico Mistico Rey Mysterio Prince Devitt
Group Extreme Rob Van Dam Sandman Sabu Tazz
Group Impact Samoa Joe AJ Styles Jeff Jarrett Kurt Angle
Group European Union Sheamus Wade Barrett Rusev Claudio Castagnoli
Group Originals Simon Sez Francisco Ciatso Mike Cruz Milo Beasley
Group Galactic Star Warrior Thantos Death Knight Wolf

Dark Menace Productions presents... The PVW Inaugural Press ConferenceThe Dark Menace, along with the previous owners of the many other promotions in the United States (who are part of PVW's Board of Directors) enter the room, as Menace takes to the podium carrying a bag, with the other members of the PVW board taking seats at either side of him. Menace addresses the press and audience: "Today is the start of a new era of professional wrestling here in the United States. All the major promotions, working under one roof, to provide the greatest wrestling that can possibly be produced. We are also partnered with promotions in Japan and Mexico, so you will see these talents here as well. And what better way to ring in this new partnership than conducting one of the greatest tournament in wrestling for the honor and privilege to be awarded with this."Dark Menace takes out the PVW World Championship from the bag, and holds it up for the press and audience. He then reveals the 32 competitors in their 8 respective groups, and announces the rules for the tournament: World Title Series Rules*Each match in the Round Robin portion has a 15-minute time limit (50 moves in game) *Wins are worth 3 points, draws (double countout, DQ or time limit) are worth 1 point each, and loss, naturally, is 0 points. *The top 2 point scorers in each group move on to the Single-Elimination portion, where every first round match-up is randomly drawn, and each match has no time limit. *The winner of the tournament will be the first ever PVW World Champion, and the top 7 will be sorted into the title's ranking structure, which will be revealed after the tournament concludes. The Dark Menace then starts to field questions from the press and audience, and here are some of the highlights: Who are the members of Group Originals? "The members of Group Originals are wrestlers who primarily wrestled in the Southeast, with their home promotion being an independent promotion called Vintage All-Star Wrestling, which is stationed in the state of Florida. There will be more than these four in the tournament coming to the promotion, so stay tuned."What is Group Galactic? "These are all competitors that are under the gimmicks that were previously seen at a show known as the Great Galaxian Bash."If the top 7 in the single-elimination portion of the tournament are considered in the PVW World title ranks, what happens with the other 8 in the single-elimination bracket? "We have something planned for those 8, but it won't be ready for some time, as we have other ventures in the works that will take place after this tournament."What are these other ventures? "After this tournament, we're going to have two more tournaments before we have our first major Supercard. One will be a single-elimination tag team tournament, and the other will be something that has never been done before in the history of professional wrestling. We will be introducing our women's division by putting 16 women in a New Japan-style tournament that we are naming 'Women's Revolution.' This will follow the traditional G1 format, and the winner will be the first PVW Women's Champion."Will there be any more people coming to PVW after these tournaments? "Absolutely. Our roster will have the greatest stars of the past, present and future all fighting to be the best."

PVW World Title Series #2From Phoenix, AZMatch 1: Group ImpactKurt Angle vs. AJ StylesThis match is declared a time-limit drawMoves: 40 out of 50 Match: A spectacular contest between these two! Each time Angle got the advantage, Styles would bring the match outside the ring, and use that environment to gain the upper-hand. Unfortunately, neither individual could really capitalize on the other, and the match would go the full 15 minutes. Match 2: Group European UnionClaudio Castagnoli vs. Rusev (w/Lana)Rusev def. Claudio Castagnoli with THE ACCOLADEMoves: 5 out of 7 Match: This absolutely short contest saw Claudio start with a slight head of steam, but once he sent the Bulgarian Brute into the ropes, he ate a running superkick. Rusev would then crush the Swiss Superman with THE ACCOLADE at the behest of Lana to get the submission victory. Match 3: Group OriginalsMike Cruz vs. Milo BeasleyMilo Beasley def. Mike Cruz with the DUMPSTER DIVEMoves: 25 out of 28 Match: Cruz starts off the match taking the low road by Pearl Harboring Beasley as he's talking with his bear friend. The fight spills out of the ring, where Milo beats the ever-living out of The Real Deal, where his momentum would continue until Cruz suicide dives Beasley from inside the ring. However, he couldn't capitalize as Beasley yet again destroyed Cruz outside the ring, and got the win with his signature top rope front drop kick, the DUMPSTER DIVE. Match 4: Group GalacticThantos vs. Death KnightDeath Knight def. Thantos via disqualificationMoves: 19 out of 28 Match: This match between two nefarious allies was actually a fair bout, until Thantos realized he was actually in danger of losing. This would cause the Gamesmaster to throw his underling outside of the ring to attempt a count-out victory. When nothing else worked, he settled for thwacking Knight with a steel chair to try to make an example out of him. Up Next PVW World Title Series #3 Featuring matches in... PVW World Title Series #3 From Phoenix, AZMatch 1: Group JapanKazuchika Okada vs. KENTAThis match is declared a time-limit drawMoves: 39 out of 50 Match: This was a very back-and-forth match, where it really could have been anyone's match to win up until the end. Despite taking two Tombstone Piledrivers throughout the match, KENTA would continue to fight the Rainmaker, and would attempt to beat the buzzer, but unfortunately could not get Okada down for the three-count, and a second match in the tournament ends in a time-limit draw. Match 2: Group ImpactSamoa Joe vs. Jeff JarrettJeff Jarrett def. Samoa Joe with THE STROKEMoves: 28 out of 36 Match: A hard-hitting contest, ending with Jarrett putting Joe in a sleeper after being sent into the ropes, then hitting THE STROKE to be the leading scorer for Group Impact. Match 3: Group JuniorsRey Mysterio vs. El GenericoThis match is declared a time-limit drawMoves: 46 out of 50 Match: This was an insane high-flying spectacle! Mysterio had the most momentum throughout the match, and if the match was scored on performance, Mysterio would definitely win, but it is not. Generico tried at times, and succeeded at times, to take momentum back, even when the referee was down, but he was unable to keep it for long. Match 4: Group of HonorCM Punk vs. Kevin SteenCM Punk def. Kevin Steen with the GO TO SLEEPMoves: 5 out of 5 Match: Punk capitalizes with Steen being distracted with El Generico to pick up a quick, decisive victory, and joining Tyler Black as the 2 top point scorers in the Group of Honor.

PVW World Title Series #4 From Phoenix, AZ
Match 1: Group ExtremeThe Sandman vs. SabuSabu def. The Sandman via disqualificationMoves: 9 out of 11 Match: A short match that unfortunately ended with Sandman doing what he does best: breaking out the SINGAPORE CANE, and just going to town on Sabu. Everyone thought the referee would be more lenient, given the extreme style these two use, but it was not so. Match 2: Group European UnionSheamus vs. Wade BarrettWade Barrett def. Sheamus with THE BULL HAMMERMoves: 12 out of 17 Match: I'm afraid I've got some bad news: Sheamus, despite having the upper-hand most of the match, ended up on the losing end, with a kneeling superkick and two BULL HAMMERS being what it took to put down the Celtic Warrior. Barrett joins Rusev at the top of Group European Union. Match 3: Group GalacticStar Warrior (w/Omega) vs. WolfThis match is declared a time-limit drawMoves: 41 out of 50 Match: Star Warrior brought his father to ringside to see his first match in PVW, and what a first match it was! Despite the match going the time limit, nobody really had the upper-hand until the end where Star Warrior tried to beat the buzzer, but unfortunately, this is the 4th match in the first cycle to go to a time-limit draw. Match 4: Group OriginalsSimon Sez vs. Francisco CiatsoSimon Sez def. Francisco Ciatso with the EMERALD STUNNERMoves: 11 out of 16 Match: Sez nearly got the win early with a right punch to the face, but Ciatso was able to kick out, and take the match back for a bit before Sez would get the win.
