tonight at PWG I got to see one of my favorite wrestlers "The Villain" Marty Scurll win BOLA!
Scurll (who defeated Pentagon Jr. in the opening match of the first round on Friday night,) in full villainous mode (he got away with smashing Cody Rhodes in the back with his umbrella at the start of their quarter-finals match and even managed to steal a kiss from Brandi Rhodes) defeated Cody Rhodes in the quarterfinals. Scurll then defeated Mark Haskins in an edge of my seat match in the semi-finals and then in the 3 way elimination finals defeated first Will Ospreay and then (via his CROSSFACE CHICKEN WING) Trevor Lee to win BOLA 2016!
I got to talk to Scurll before Saturday night's show and he told me he likes his card. Tonight I wore one of Scurll's shirts that says The Villain and has Scurll in a lineup that includes Darth Vader, Predator, and Heath Ledger's Joker. Scurll now gets to challenge PWG World Champion Zack Sabre Jr.!
