in relevance yes, but they do still publish and apparently enough people still buy it for it to continue (though by 98, everything felt so dated by the time the magazines came out) Agreed that the Internet has rendered PWI basically useless, but I definitely look forward to the 500 issue every year and frequently refer to it for game purposes.

Very cool stuff. Thats amazing that almost 25% of the list has cards now. Not sure I agree its ridiculous that Roman was #1, the list is Kayfabe and he was champ or top contender the majority of the judging period July 2015 to June 2016. If Rollins wasn't injured I'd think he'd be #1, but otherwise I can't think of another option. Next year I expect AJ to grab #1. Okada was #2 and I would have had no problem with him being #1. I know I'm biased against Reigns. Sad thing is if he wasn't forced down my throat and if they actually took advantage of his smug, conceited attitude, I'd probably love the guy, minus cocking the forearm. And oh yeah, Styles should definitely be #1 in 2017.

I'm kinda disappointed that the Darewolf didn't make the list... Don't recall what number and magazine not in front of me, but PJ Black definitely made the list... The alphabetical listing available on top rope press site has him at 140 (awesome!)... But, they also have Alex Shelley listed at 140... On the internet wrestling database, Black is not ranked... Weird...

What is the number if bootlegs aren't included? If you deduct Swarm's ECIII, Nakamura and Tanahashi bootlegs, 119. Minus Grant's Bateman, Classic Connection and Myers, 115. Again, magazine not in front of me, so don't quote me on this. Cool. Thanks for posting!

The magazine had him listed at 140 in the alphabetical listing, but that spot belongs to Shelley inside the magazine. Must be a typo. Anyway, PJ Black is ranked 141 inside the magazine

In addition to the numbers provided by Lucifer, I know of at least 11 other names on the list who are signed to the game but have not been announced yet.
In addition to those other 11, there is also more than 1 wrestler signed to the game but not announced yet who I am very surprised is not at all on this 500 list- but I definitely think they should be on this list.

I looked up "teaser" in the dictionary and was amazed to find word for word EXACTLY what Vegas just wrote!!!

Tom should put Vegas in charge of teasers because he's incredible with them.
