No probs amigo.
Double count out would also be like a time limit draw or double dw no points given or taken away.
Peace, bri.

I like it, but how do you track this? Excel?

Hey Steef,
Actually, I just use a notebook. The wrestlers names are at the left of the page and as they wrestle each match, I keep track as they go.
Excel would be easier though.
But usually where I play the game I'm not around a pc.

Hey Walkswithwolf (Great name by the way!), No probs at all, for example lets say Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel have just had a match with the following results: Harley Race wins via disqualification. Harley Race had three tokens at the end of the match and Nick Bockwinkel had two. Since Harley Race won by dq I would award him 15 points for a dq win (20 points to start - minus the three tokens Race had = 17 minus the two tokens Bockwinkel had = 15 points). Bockwinkel would lose 15 points (because it was a dq loss). But if Race won cleanly, (using the above amount of tokens) I would award him 30 points (the 15 points above times two because it was a clean win) and subtract 30 from Bockwinkel (because it was a clean loss). I have the wrestlers wrestle the same amount of times so all have a fair shot at earning points. The wrestler or team with the most points after all have wrestled once gets the title shot. Its like running a fed more like a league, but I like this method because the wrestlers themselves earn the title shots, not via my choices. At the end of each round where each wrestler or team all wrestle once, I see who worked themselves into the number one contender spot, and the title matches are the first matches of the next round. I have some questions : When you subtract points, do you go below zero? Do you reset all points totals at the end of each round?

Yep, when you subtract points, some wrestlers wind up with negative numbers, until via a few wins, they can accumulate enough points to go above zero and into the positive numbers. At the end of each round, the way I play is they do not get reset. Its unlimited. Oh quick note, new wrestlers added into the fed after this system is used, do not have any points at all, not even zero, until the results of their first match, then you would take it from there.

Said this before - Split the pack into faces/heels lists . Winners stay on/where they are and losers go to the bottom . Might have say 5 single matches top 5 faces & heels at chosen . First pick out any feuds . What is left randomly pick matches ? . Like I say winners stay where they are and losers to the bottom . If say Heavyweight champion is a face . The top heel on list is his next challenger ? NO matter who he is . I do something like this as I have so many feds and I don't like the bookkeeping getting in the way. I keep track of where the wrestlers are in the deck and that is their rank and as they defeat wrestlers ahead of them they move up through the deck and as they lose they move down. The only book keeping I use is just to remember where they were in the deck if I have moved them about when booking shows. Feuds will halt a wrestlers rise or fall up the rankings/deck until said feud is finished and then the winner goes up and the loser goes down. There are other factors but I have been trying to find something that works without a ton of bookkeeping. I just don't have the time to waste when I have quite a few feds and still need to remember what is happening in each. I had to recently cut my feds down and focus on a smaller number just because it was becoming unmanageable. Even with this ranking system I am trying to work out the kinks and get something I like and that is fair and enjoyable.

I ranked based on a Point basis:
+2 points for a win by pinfall/submission +1 point for a DQ win -1 point for a DQ loss -2 points for a loss pinfall/submission
I run totals every 5 cards and then create my ranking from them. If two wrestlers/teams have the same point total then wrestler/team with the previous higher ranking in the last ranking session gets the nod as the higher ranked. It actually has worked well for me with very little tweaking since I started this method in the 2090 era.
