...to Cory Olson for creating the Strategy Pin chart, that had been available here when the links were working... I have tried many of the various charts and special rules and matches that promoters took the time to create and share with the community, and I thank you all! But this particular chart is the one "bootleg" chart that I use every single time I play, and I truly think that it should be made an official chart that ships with the game.
A great example of why I love this chart occurred just last night. I was rolling a match between Randy Savage and the Missing Link. Link was on Level 3 Offense, and rolled his BACKFLYING HEADBUTT finisher... Without the Strategy Pin chart, I would have simply rolled on Savage's Pin, and either he would have been pinned, or Link would continue on Level 3 Offense... But because of the chart, more possibilities opened up.
When I rolled on the chart, It came up as a reversal, with Savage now taking over on Level 3 Offense, and he rolled his FLYING ELBOW SMASH, resulting in a PIN... (Link did not get as charitable a roll on the pin chart)
I pictured it in my mind as it would have happened... Link launching off the turnbuckle toward a downed Savage, Savage at the last minute rolling out of the way with Link crashing to the mat... and while he writhes in pain, with the crowd going wild, Savage climbs the buckle for the Elbow.
These kinds of moments are just not possible without a chart like this, and I tip my hat to Cory, and thank him for sharing...
And, although none of the links here are working anymore... the chart is still available on Cory's "LOWBootlegs" Yahoo group. (I checked)
Keep on rolling!
