GWF Press Conference Sly Drury: Thank you, Ladies and Gentlemen of the press for coming today. We are here to discuss Season Two of the Legends show, where we are going to hold the biggest tournament in the history of the GWF, the Greatest tag teams of all eras. Which team is really the Best in the Universe?... Is it really one of the teams from Aethra? Can the teams of yesterday truly compete with the superstars of today? We are going to find out! Here are the rules... The first part of the tournament, we will be dividing the 24 teams up into six Groups of four. Each Group will compete in a round robin tournament and at the end we will take two of the best teams of each grouping and then advance them to the next round. In this next round, they will compete in a single elimination tournament. The last two rounds of this part of the tournament will be "Four out of Five fall matches! So let's introduce all of our teams... Starting with Group A Titan Fury Keeper of the Stones Animal Pack Desolation Factor Sly Drury: In Group B, we have... Rush & Turmoil The GameMasters The Mercenaries Master Race Sly Drury: In Group C, we have... Malice & Overkill Vampire Legends Superiority Complex Leader of the Pack Sly Drury: In Group D, we have... Wicked field... Of course, my full support goes to Black and Necros... Would also like to see DWF do well... Both Gladiator teams will be fearsome... And Desolation Factor are a threat to win it all... Can't wait for the kickoff!

This looks incredible. I'm honestly wondering how a single-elimination tournament comprising of 12 people will work by the end of this. Of course, sticking with the Titans teams, but I'm also pulling for the Ultimate Fighters and Black Death Revolution.

This looks incredible. I'm honestly wondering how a single-elimination tournament comprising of 12 people will work by the end of this. Of course, sticking with the Titans teams, but I'm also pulling for the Ultimate Fighters and Black Death Revolution. Thanks JJ_Strife! Eight of the teams of the twelve face off in the first round, while the remaining four get byes into the next round to face off against the winners of round one. I wanted to add some teams from the early years like Moonstrike and the Estorians, but I don't have their cards to add them. Plus, I wanted to add Penthouse Punks from the CPC sets... but, dont have them either. |

Great Job!! Star Warrior had a strong showing to win the tournament. I was surprised Wol did not do better, but the dice rule in the end!! Your tag team tournament looks great, and I can't wait for the action to take place!!

Star Warrior and Chaos knocked off Spikes who had been number #1 up until that last show. Just goes to show you... you cant sit back on your rear if you want it you got to take it! |

The Electro Shock starring Nitro Nitro: Welcome to The Electro Shock, starring me Nitro! Tonight, we will discuss the buzz going around the GWF Universe... GWF Network is reporting that Sly Drury is adding six teams to the 24 Team Tournament making it a whooping 30 teams! The teams are GodSpeed, Cosmic Force, The Cloak, The Predators, The Enforcers, and Fist & Probation. I here that Sly Drury was flooded with so many requests to add more teams to the mix. Rumors have it that Sly Drury wanted to have Brute & Massacre in the tournament, but Aethran Overmaster said that he would not let any tournament tarnish the legendary named of the most beloved Aethrans on their planet. The Overmaster said that if Sly Drury wanted any other teams from Aethra in the tournament, he would have to accept Fist & Probation as well. This is going to be a helluva tourney... It would have been difficult for me to choose between Paralyze & Rage or Fist & Probation... Watching these shows almost makes me wish I had a Kronos style fed on the go... Hmmmm, letting the wheels turn...
Is each bracket going to be played out round robin style to determine the finalists? Assuming that is the case, here's who I'd like to see make it through...
Group A: TitanFury
Group B: Mercenaries
Group C: Vampire Legends (of course)
Group D: Divided We Fall
Group E: Predators
Group F: Twin Blood
Black and Necros to win it all... Really looking forward to this, my friend... Very nice work!

Really looking forward to this, my friend... Very nice work! So, I plan on doing two matches from Group A, B, C each in one show. Then next show, Group D, E, F until all matches are done in a round robin style. The top two teams of each Group then goes on to the next stage. So these are are picks like if you were betting real money on it and not just your favorite teams? There are some really good match-ups I can't wait to see like Twin Blood vs. Demons of Hydra. I'll be starting it up soon, just need to get the format down that I want to use... I thought about re-branding it the Kronos Cup or something... but probably to late now. |
