Did ya all catch the season premiere last Sunday? How crazy was that?

Absolute brilliance! My faith in TWD has been restored... The storyline is moving forward in the best possible manner that I can imagine... Here's hoping that the writing remains at this level...
And Jeffrey Dean Morgan is perfect as Negan!

I personally didn't get the backlash from last season's cliff hanger. They really delivered in a big way and sets up for a very interesting season. Just when it seemed they would deviate from the comics more, the two deaths put them more in line with the comics cronology. I recently started reading past the point of the show in the comics and am really intrigued by what could be coming up on the show.

It did an amazing job of building up the anticipation for this premiere... One of the biggest topics of converation all summer long was - 'Who did Negan kill?' TWD is my favorite show and I've been reading the comic since it first came out, so I have to admit that sometimes I'm a little unforgiving... Was not a big fan of 'Dumpstergate', but I can even understand what they were attempting to do there... For those that are up to date with the comics... Have you seen the teaser pics floating around online of the infamous Head on a Pole? Could we see another group of antagonists make an appearance before this season comes to an end?

I have been reading the comics along with watching the series. Up until this season I had been watching the show ahead of the timeline of the comics. But the past few weeks I have been buzzing with anticipation, so I read up until the end of All Out War. Now I am wathing the show in a new way and enjoying it, knowing where the comic goes and seeing how the show follows parts of it. I really liked the Dwight story last night and watching that play out. Was also great to see the Kingdom last week and Ezekiel doing his backstory to carol instead of Michone. Now I'm intrigued to see how Rick reacts to Negan coming to Alexandia. I'm all in on the season!
