For those of you who have played Classics, what are your thoughts of Omega in 2079? I think his card rocks and shows what this stud was in his prime. I always wondered what he was like when I first got 2087 but when I got the Classic stuff I was astounded to see his great ability and seen why he was a multi time champion.

I'm in late 2077 right now in my EC fed and Omega's the current champ. He's a two-time champ but has collectively held the belt for more defenses than anyone else. Screw's got his sights set on him right now, though, so we'll see how it goes.

I've had that card retired and moved on to his EC version. During his stint with his 2079 card he was an 8-time Galaxian Title Champ, he was my first champ. His reigns were impressive for the most part, 3 of them lasting over a year. His third reign was 1 Year, 2 Months, and 1 Day...his 7th reign was 1 Year, 4 Months, and 2 Days...His 8th and final reign as of mid 2084 was 1 Year, 1 Month, 20 Days. He was my Rigel Rumble Winner twice in 2079 and 2082 (a feat only duplicated by Disaster thus far). he was my annual Ring Warrior Tournament Champ 3 consecutive years 2080-2082. His reigns might had been more, but he took 2076 and earned Tag Team of the Year honors with Morpheus in the Guardians, their reign as champs lasted 8 months. He was wrestler of the year 2074/2075, 2077,2078,2081,2082. Needless to say when other legends are compared throughout my replay of my GWF Fed, all will be measured up against the original...OMEGA.

Yeah, my GWF fed has a complete history from 2074 to 2123 and Omega during the Early Classics Period had 11 reigns as my Galactic Champion which is still a record in my fed. Many of those championship reigns by Omega were somewhat long too.

QFT Omega was the Michael Jordan of his day. Fortunately in 2009 'what's old will become new again' as a whole new generation of CotG players will have more of a chance to discover (and older players to rediscover) just how great Omega in his prime really was.

He's had some brutal brawls with Screw in my EC fed. Actually, Screw vs. Omega was the real marquee match up for my EC GWF. Omega vs. Morpheus never seemed to reach those levels.

Like many of you have already mentioned, Omega is currently "the man" of my EC fed. He's held the Galaxian Title for 1 year so far and has fended off all comers.
