The one issue I probably do have with the game is the charts are probably too frequent for a wrestling match. It makes for good GAME balance though.

I've eliminated the choice charts from the game entirely, and I have begun to enjoy the game a heckuva lot more.

Also, Anatomy from GWFZ is better on lvl 1 than on lvl 3, so w him it's good to go up a lvl. End of Days & some other guys have good stats on lvl 1 to really take advantage (or gamble in some cases) of the (c) and maybe keep your opponent from a strength of theirs.

I don't like the Choice Chart. I use the move that's on the card, but roll to see how effective it is. Also, sometimes I will go for the option to roll on another chart; I just don't like how a move on the Choice Chart at times doesn't match a character. It's up to me, Promoter.

Sometimes we mix it up, but that depends on the individual (I do enjoy seeing Me X try to hit a moonsault..)

When it comes to the choice chart I make the roll for level 3 offence and substitute in the move on the wrestlers card. In most cases I see those moves as something with a degree of error to them.

www.gofightpow.com is a great game for COTG fans who find things like the choice charts, (c) option too complicated for them. It's basically a COTG kids game with everything stripped down to one level using only -3 level moves, but a lot of adults plat it too. My 3 year olds love it.

I personally always use the choice charts as they are a factor in determining a wrestler' s card strength and provide an embattled opponent on defense another chance for a reversal and thus has often led to even better matches for me. In cases where a move on the choice chart does not fit the wrestler, I still use the choice chart but just imagine that they are using (rolling for) the move listed on their card next to that choice chart letter.

I used to never use the choice charts until I went to Galacticon and then saw them in a different light. Now, I alternate--first time it comes up it's the move on the card, second time it's the choice chart, third time, card, and so on. The (c) I would never use, then I used as a re-roll on the same level, and now I'm working it in on what makes sense for the match.

Was that a sly dig or a valid suggestion, or both?! I don't think anyone has suggested that the choice charts are too complicated for them, more voicing their preferences on how they use them. Still, decent suggestion. I've not played GFP! but I am sure it is a lot of fun.
