For example, if I get "out of the ring (c)", I have a choice of either rolling on the out of the ring chart or dropping a level, right?
Just curious to know how you make the choice.

Depends on the match and the wrestler.
If it makes sense for that wrestler to take it outside against that opponent and it serves the match, then I'll do it. And I usually won't have a wrestle with a RING-C try to fight a guy with RING-A unless he's desperate.
I just try to be true to the situation. Johnny Saint wouldn't start a brawl on the floor with SD Jones for no reason. Whereas the Sheik will do it almost every time.

It really comes down, to me, to whether I want to keep the offense going, or if I want to take the chance with the opponent getting the advantage by rolling on the chart. Also I want to keep it varied as well, so I'l go to the chart if I haven't for a while.

it varies. usually I'll go with what makes more sense (barring using someone like Mutant) but sometimes when I get frustrated about a match not ending, I use the charts each time.

When I play Legends, I treat the matches playing out as worked performances rather than as genuine athletic competition. When confronted with any choice situation, the question is which choice would improve the quality of the match or advance the story I'm trying to tell. In an actual competition, you might not want to throw an opponent with an A ring rating out of the ring because the possibility he could turn the tables is too high. In a work, that's exactly what you might want to do to shift the momentum of the match.

The majority of FG cards are carefully designed with (c) being strategically placed. I always roll up to L1O on a (c) when a guy has a -3 move, or roll up to L20 when a guy has a few -3 moves. Can really make or a break a guy.

Unless it's a "specialty" match, I'll re-roll at the SAME level of offense. If I roll the (c) again, guy gets tossed out of the ring. Don't like using the out of the ring chart so frequently, as it tends to raise the number of disqualifications, etc.
