Oh, snap... Technical decision or not, that was a huge upset for RVD... Gotta wonder - How angry will Andre be the next time he steps into the ring? Exciting! It was a great match, and when I rolled to see if Andre was disqualified I rolled snake eyes, which to me means that he absolutely freaked out. I'm looking forward to it as well! The way Im running this fed, with each match that ends in a dq, they start a feud. A feud in Catch 32 is a best of three match series. The rematch next round will be a no dq match for double ratings points, if Andre wins (good chance), then they are tied at one a piece. The tie breaker would be for triple points and a special no dq match (steel cage, texas death etc). Lets get ready to rumble!! Thank you as always amigo for checking in! If I dont get a chance to talk to you, Happy Thanksgiving to you and the fam.

Round 1 - Match 5 Result:
Sly Drury vs The Aethran Overmaster.
With a viscious come from behind brawling offense and a tip of the hat, Sly Drury nearly punts The Aethran Overmasters head off with his Regime Change finisher for the three count.
Drury (1 win, 0 loss, + 38 points)
Overmaster (0 win, 1 loss, - 38 points)
A back and forth barroom brawl that just wasn't the same after Drury gave The Overmaster the chair.

Coming Soon: Round 1 - Match 6: Kevin Steen vs Shayne This will be an extremely interesting bout... In case you were not aware, Shayne was actually inspired by Steen... And thanks to the COTG Wiki for that info!

And thanks to the COTG Wiki for that info! Yep, I saw that bit too. I know what you mean, the hairs on my arms stood up when the dice told me that one is next! Should be a doozy (did I spell that right? LOL). It is right to give the COTG Wiki thanks and praise! Thanks brother!

Round 1 - Match 6 Results:
Kevin Steen vs Shayne:
Steen came out very strong, but eventually Shayne made him see Eye 4 Eye with him a couple of times, setting up the victory for Shayne by pin via his Showdown finisher.
Kevin Steen (0 win, 1 loss, - 38 points)
Shayne (1 win, 0 loss, + 38 points)
Steen quickly recovered and charged after the departing from ringside Shayne but was restrained by 3 large security guards.

Round 1 - Match 7 Result:
Monolith vs Godsend:
Godsends initial offense and control of the match was impressive until Monolith regrouped and rather quickly defeated Godsend via his End Of All Things Gorilla Press Slam into a Splash finisher for the pin.
Monolith (1 win, 0 loss, + 38 points)
Godsend (0 win, 1 loss, - 38 points)
What really shocked Godsend was Monoliths thwarting of his demonic psychic power post match attack, Monolith simply walked back up to Godsend and shook his head back and forth.

Superb match between Shayne and Steen... Expected the Real Ordeal to come out on top in that one...
In one of my earlier feds, Godsend used to have quite a bit of success over Monolith... See that was not the case here...
Fun stuff!

See that was not the case here... Fun stuff! Hey Pariah, Yes it was, Steen came out very strong, a superkick and pin attempt right away and kept applying the pressure but then it got Real for sure. Once Shayne was able to maintain control, he put him away. Godsend/Monolith was somewhat similar, but the tide turned faster. Monolith is something else. Glad you enjoyed amigo! Next two matches look very interesting too! Hopefully will post soon. Bri.

Round 1 - Match 8 Result:
Azrael Caldarian vs Nature Boy Buddy Rogers:
After being outclassed and outmanuevered the ring, Azrael's temper got the best of him to the point where tossing Rogers into the second row was totally worth giving Rogers the victory via disqualification.
Azrael (0 win, 1 loss, - 19 points) Rogers (1 win, 0 loss, + 19 points)
Eventually Azrael stopped throwing fireballs long enough to be contained and eventually, Rogers painful grimaces turned into a smile and a wink.

Round 1 - Match 9 Result:
Nick Bockwinkel vs Bigfoot:
If Bigfoot was closer to the center of the ring when Bockwinkel applied his Sleeper finisher, he would have definitely lost, but finally being able to get to the ropes and break the hold turned the tide and Bigfoot eventually pinned Bockwinkel via several Skull Crushing Hammer Fists to the head.
Bockwinkel (0 win, 1 loss, - 38 points)
Bigfoot (1 win, 0 loss, + 38 points)
The referee helped Bockwinkel up to his feet but was very off balanced, the ringside doctor was checking him for a concussion.
