BREAKING NEWS:
As a result of the backstage incident on RAW #28 earlier tonight (results posted above,) the Buffet Club has challenged the Sheepherders to a hot dog eating contest at the Great American Bash!
also, "Cowboy" Scott Casey will wrestle Pampero Firpo in the dark match at the Great American Bash.

update: VWF will be returning soon starting with its Great American Bash PPV no later than July 4th and then having at least 1 show every week thereafter. Management.

It is now time for the Great American Bash!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Great American Bash July 4th, Year 1 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Third of show)
- commentary team: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Dark Match: Scott Casey defeated Pampero Firpo (manged by Rock Riddle)
- Casey scored the upset when Firpo's manager Riddle tried to smash Casey on the head with a steel chair but accidentally hit Firpo instead. Casey followed up with a knee lift to score the win.
- afterward, Firpo was demonstratively angry with Riddle as they walked toward the back
Match #1: Gorgeous George defeated The Destroyer, "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty, and Lenny Lane in a Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match
- Jannetty pinned The Destroyer via ROCKER DROPPER
- Lane pinned Jannetty via MEMORY LANE
- George put away Lane via SPINNING TOEHOLD
- as a result, per Vegas tradition, George receives a #1 contender's United States Championship match
Backstage: Tully Blanchard, with JJ Dillon, signs a full time VWF contract!
Match #2: Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton, both managed by Jim Cornette) defeated the Fantastics
- a great match, the Midnight Express won when Cornette got away with throwing a fireball into Bobby Fulton's face allowing Dennis Condrey to rill up Fulton from behind for the three count.
In the Ring: Shawn Daivari (accompanied by the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff)
- Daivari announces a third member of their team in tonights flag match- Ivan Koloff (making is VWF debut!)
- Daivari then challenges Hacksaw Jim Duggan and "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson to find a third member for their team.
- Duggan and Danielson appear and say they have found someone- Magnum TA who once in Major League Wrestling wrestled Koloff in a best out of 7 series! This is Magnum TA's debut appearance for VWF!
Match #3: Hacksaw Jim Duggan, "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, and Magnum TA defeated Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, and Ivan Koloff (all managed by Jim Cornette) in a flag match
- Magnum TA pinned the Iron Sheik via a running forearm
- as a result, Duggan, Danielson, and Magnum TA all got to wave US flags on Independence Day
In the Ring: Harley Race (with manager Bobby Heenan)
- Race again repeats his open challenge for a match against someone at the Great American Bash.
- Blackjack Mulligan appears and says he has signed a VWF contract and his first match will be tonight against Race!
Match #4: Harley Race (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Blackjack Mulligan
- Race won via a backbreaker
- afterward, Heenan declared Race as the next VWF Champion!

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Great American Bash July 4th, Year 1 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Third of show, First Third is posted above)
Match #5: The Buffet Club (Sinn Bodhi and Blue Meanie) defeated the Sheepherders in a hot dog eating contest
- the Buffet Club ate a total of 135 hot dogs in 10 minutes
- the Sheepherders ate a total of 131 hot dogs in 10 minutes, but then they puked
- afterward, as the Buffet Club were getting their hands raised in victory, they got attacked by the Sheepherders!
Match #6: United States Champion Bobo Brazil defeated Trish Stratus
- before this match, Brazil shook hands with Stratus who back in May teamed with him in the MLW Memorial Cup tournament
- Brazil retained the United States Championship via his COCO BUTT, but afterward congratulated Stratus on her effort as she is determined to prove that women can be the equal of men in the VWF.
Match #7: Randy Savage defeated Diamond Dallas Page
- this highly anticipated matchup between the former VWF Tag Team Champions who together held the championship for 4 months started off quickly with DDP attacking Savage before the bell, but Savage regained control and won quickly via piledriver
- afterward, DDP was irate and called the quick victory by Savage (who had left the ring area) a "fluke."
Match #8: Bruiser Brody defeated Big Van Vader in a last man standing match
- 6 straight JUMPING KNEE DROPS was enough to finally keep Vader down for the ten count

Match #9: Ric Flair defeated Jimmy Snuka
- making a special appearance, Falir defeated Snuka via PIN USING ROPES
Match #10: Rock N Roll Express defeated VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors
- First Fall: in a rematch from the MLW Memorial Cup Finals won by the Road Warriors, this first fall was won by the Rock N Roll Express when the action went out to the floor where Road Warrior Animal sent Ricky Morton crashing through a table. Rock N' Roll Express up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Rock N' Roll Express took down the Road Warriors when Morton pinned Animal after several DOUBLE DROPKICKS with Robert Gibson. Rock N' Roll Express win 2-0.
- Rock N' Roll Express are the new VWF Tag Team Champions!
Match #11: Lou Thesz, Buddy Rogers, Johnny Valentine, Rob Van Dam, and Curt Hennig defeated VWF Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy, Larry "The Axe" Hennig, and the Miracle Violence Connection in a War Games match
order of entry: RVD, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, Larry Hennig, Thesz, Bundy, Curt Hennig, DiBiase, Valentine, Terry Gordy, Rogers
- Valentine, making his VWF debut, upon entering the War Games, was offered a handful of cash by DiBiase to turn against the team of Thesz and Rogers and team with him. Valentine took the money and put it into his trunk but then attacked DiBiase anyway.
- after everyone had entered the structure, the end came when Thesz pinned Bundy via his THESZ PRESS.
- afterward, the ring announcer entered the structure to announce the winners and as Thesz held Rogers hand up in triumph, Valentine gave Thesz a low blow from behind. Valentine then grabbed the microphone and told Rogers that this charade needs to end as they are both Horsemen and Horsemen do not team with guys like Thesz. Valentine then left and Rogers left too- but not with Valentine and without checking on Thesz who was helped out by RVD and Curt Hennig.
- afterward, when the victorious team of Thesz and Rogers left the War Games structure, the MVC got on the microphone and told DiBiase their contract to work for him are now over and they are leaving. DiBiase agreed and suddenly the MVC are attacked by two guys in masks who revealed themselves as the Valiants- two former members of DiBiase's Cabinet back in the EAWA brand of MLW!

Thesz leads his team to a major WarGames triumph... Just to get stabbed in the back... But, the most intriguing aspect was the Nature Boy's reaction to it all... What's going on inside his head? And how will it affect his future direction in Vegas?
Not to be outdone, DiBiase unveils his newest allies in rather dramatic fashion... The Valiant brothers better keep their eyes peeled because messing with the MVC is not a task to be taken lightly...
Big time congrats to Rn'R on taking the tag belts... Two straight falls over the Roadies... Oh, snap!
Also really enjoyed those big wins for Brody and Race in their respective matchups... And the Buffet Club were on point in that eating contest against the Sheepherders... What else can be said? YUM!
