Money in the Bank presented by Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Sunday July 29th T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, Nevada (Final Third of show, First Third and Second Third are both posted above)
Match #8: Road Warriors defeated VWF Tag Team Champions Rock N Roll Express
- First Fall: Road Warriors were DQd when the action spilled out of the ring and Road Warrior Hawk smashed the time keeper's bell against Ricky Morton's head. Rock N Roll Express are up 1-0.
- Second Fall: Road Warriors win this fall when Road Warrior Hawk pinned Morton after the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. Road Warriors and Rock N Roll Express are tied at 1 fall apiece
- Third/Final Fall: Road Warriors won this fall too as once again Road Warrior Hawk pinned Morton after the DOOMSDAY DEVICE. Road Warriors won this match 2-1.
- as a result, the Road Warriors regain the VWF Tag Team Championship!
Match #9: VWF Chairman of the Board and VWF Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (accompanied by King Kong Bundy and Larry "The Axe3" Hennig) defeated Bruiser Brody
- a great match with both competitors scoring multiple near falls, the end came when DiBiase distracted the referee as his Cabinet members Hennig and Bundy entered the ring and hit Brody with THE AXE and ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE respectively. DiBiase then applied his COBRA CLUTCH to secure the win and retain the VWF Championship.
Match #10: Rob Van Dam defeated Lou Thesz, Buddy Rogers, Harley Race, United States Champion Bobo Brazil, Jimmy Snuka, Curt Hennig, and the Iron Sheik in a #1 contender's ladder match
- this match was billed as the greatest ladder match of all time as all the competitors were former VWF, MLW, World, and/or EAWA Champions.
- during this match, Thesz and Rogers did not fight each other but each stopped the other from climbing up the ladder and grabbing the metal rod hanging above the ring
- the end came when Thesz was on top of a ladder and had his hand on the metal rod, but before he could secure it, Rogers pushed the ladder over sending both Thesz and the metal rod crashing to the mat where RVD rolled over the metal rod to grab it and then roll out of the ring to win the match
- as a result, RVD is now the #1 contender tot eh VWF Championship!
- as the crowd chants "RVD! RVD! RVD!," Money in the Bank comes to an end.
End of Show. See you tomorrow at RAW featuring the VWF Draft!

The Whole F'n Show is coming after the Million $ Man... And the crowd comes alive! RVD! RVD! RVD!
Great to see the Macho Man grab the briefcase... And I'm really looking forward to the inevitable encounter between the MVC and DiBiase's henchmen, Bundy and The Axe...
Awesome show!

Money in the Bank was great, especially with Randy Savage winning the MITB briefcase and Rob Van Dam winning the top contenders spot. With the draft coming we could see the "Macho Man" wind up on Smackdown but if things stay the same imagine RVD winning the belt from Ted Dibiase and Savage cashing in. That would be amazing. King Kong Bundy and Larry Hennig, not to mention Ted Dibiase, are marked men for sure and if he's not drafted I could see Bruiser Brody looking for revenge. That was a very controversial finish to the world title match.
Congrats to the Road Warriors on winning the VWF tag titles from the Rock n' Roll Express. The size and power of Hawk & Animal proved too much for Morton & Gibson unfortunately. I'm looking forward to the Midnight Express getting their shot at the Road Warriors. That was a huge win for Pampero Firpo in the four-way and for Ivan Koloff in beating Magnum T.A.
Another excellent show and I look forward to the big shakeup coming from the draft.

It is now time for the 1st RAW following yetsrday's Money in the Bank PPV and featuring the VWF Draft!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #32 July 30th, Year 1
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
In the Ring: VWF Chairman of the Board and VWF Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Angelo Poffo.
- DiBiase and Poffo make the first few picks of the VWF Draft for the RAW and Smackdown brands respectively:
- RAW selects Lou Thesz - Smackdown selects Buddy Rogers - RAW selects United States Champion Bobo Brazil - Smackdown selects Bruiser Brody - RAW selects Randy Savage - Smackdown selects Harley Race
- Striker and Zbyszko commentary notes: Thesz and Rogers, whose friendship has shown signs of strain lately, are getting assigned to separate brands; Poffo interestingly did not draft Savage despite having two opportunities to do do
Match #1: Redd Dogg defeated Scott Taylor
- unlike yesterday's matchup at Money in the Bank, this time this grudge match had a definitive conclusion as Redd Dogg put away Taylor via BLACKOUT
In the Ring: DiBiase and Poffo are back to make the next few picks in the VWF Draft, this round is for tag teams:
- RAW selects VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors - Smackdown selects Rock N Roll Express - RAW selects the Midnight Express - Smackdown selects Miracle Violence Connection - RAW selects Valiants - Smackdown selects Fantastics
- Striker and Zbyszko commentary notes: with RAW drafting both the VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors and the #1 contenders' Midnight Express (due to their victory over the Fantastics at Money in the Bank,) it appears that matchup is set for Summerslam next month; DiBiase gets to retain at least part of his Cabinet by selecting the Valiants
Match #2: The Valiants defeated Miracle Violence Connection
- with both teams just getting drafted to separate brands and with their matchup last night at Money in the Bank ending in an inconclusive DQ, tonight was the final chance for the MVC to payback the Valiants for their post match assault upon them inside the War Games structure last month at the Great American Bash
- an evenly paced matchup that saw the Valiants emerge triumphant when Johnny Valiant pinned Terry Gordy after a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE and by getting away with putting his feet on the ropes for extra leverage as the referee made the three count.
In the Ring: DiBiase and Poffo are back to make the next few picks in the VWF Draft:
- RAW selects Rob Van Dam - Smackdown selects Jimmy Snuka - RAW selects Curt Hennig - Smackdown selects Johnny Valentine - RAW selects Ivan Koloff - Smackdown selects Magnum TA
- Striker and Zbyszko commentary notes: with current #1 contender RVD (as a result of winning the main event ladder match last night at Money in the Bank) getting drafted to RAW it appears RVD challenging DiBiase for the VWF Championship is now set for Summerslam; two sets of frequent tag team partners will still have the opportunity to team up as RVD and Curt Hennig are both drafted to RAW and Snuka is drafted to Smackdown along with Brody; with Johnny Valentine going to Smackdowna along with Rogers, will Valentine continue his efforts to get Rogers to return to his former rulebreaking ways and possibly create a new version of the Four Horsemen of which they were the only two members of all previous versions in Major League Wrestling?
Match #3: Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka defeated defeated King Kong Bundy and Larry "The Axe" Hennig by DQ
- this match was Brody's chance to gain revenge against Bundy and Hennig whose interference last night at Money in the Bank cost Brody a chance to win the VWF Championship from DiBiase
- this match ended in DQ when Snuka got slammed through a table by Bundy, but Striker and Zbyszko comment that at least for Snuka he will get a chance to team up more with Brody in the future as they both head to Smackdown
In the Ring: DiBiase and Poffo are back to make the next few picks in the VWF Draft:
- RAW selects Barry Windham - Smackdown selects Tully Blanchard - RAW selects Blackjack Mulligan - Smackdown selects Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff - RAW selects Hacksaw Jim Duggan - Smackdown selects King Kong Bundy
- Striker and Zbyszko commentary notes: DiBiase loses a member of his Cabinet as Bundy is headed to Smackdown- perhaps to feud with Brody and Snuka based on developments the last two nights?
Match #4: Lou Thesz defeated Buddy Rogers
- Thesz attempted to shake hands with Rogers before this match, but Rogers competitively waved him off
- with Thesz (RAW) and Rogers (Smackdown) getting drafted to separate brands tonight, this match was the last time they would compete against each other for the time being
- Johnny Valentine attempted to interfere at the expense of Thesz, but Rogers waved Valentine off
- despite Valentine's attempted interference, Thesz won via his THESZ PRESS.
- afterward, Valentine again attacked Thesz with a low blow as Rogers appeared not to notice and left the ring with Valentine following behind
End of Show. Stay tuned for tomorrow's news release for the results of the remaining rounds of the VWF Draft!
