Season 1, Episode 11 - The Whole F'N Show

The show opens with a highlight package of Rob Van Dam winning Legend’s Warfare and then Lou Thesz winning the number one contenders tournament last episode. The announce team confirms that our main event tonight will Van Dam’s first defense of the Legends Unleashed Title against Lou Thesz!

Booker Bill is in the ring with two title belts and hypes tonight as the start of the multi episode eight team tournament to determine the first Legend’s Unleashed Tag Team Champions. Buddy Rogers interrupts and confronts Booker Bill declaring himself as the true number one contender. He tells the fans and Booker Bill that he has made Lou Thesz submit not once, but twice in the middle of this very ring. The fans are all over the Nature Boy. Booker Bill tells Nature Boy he may have beaten Thesz twice but he recalls that those were tag team encounters, not one on one encounters. Booker Bill tells Rogers that is still has something to prove and he can start right now with a match.

I agree with Pariah on the main event and the whole card as well, that was awesome. RVD had a tough draw for his first title defense and what an absolutely huge win over Lou Thesz. Buddy Rogers is waiting in the wings, though, so RVD had better keep his game at the same level.

The start of the tag title tournament was great and I really enjoyed that pairing of Albano & Costa. Harley Race has to be pissed over that attack so Costa I feel is going to pay a price when they meet. I do have to say, though, that I have really been impressed with the work of Costa in the BB universe of late so perhaps he will surprise in a one-on-one bout against Race.

Booker Bill is in his office with Buddy Rogers who again demands a title shot. Booker Bill says as impressive as Rogers was last week, Marty Jannetty is not exactly in his league so Rogers needs to prove himself against some real competition. Rogers is obviously not impressed but Booker Bill continues tells Rogers that is why he has booked Rogers in a number one contenders match tonight against “Macho Man” Randy Savage. The winner will be the next competitor to face Rob Van Dam.

The announcers are blown away by what is now our main event as we will determine a new number one contender for the Legend’s Unleashed Title. Plus, in a Legend’s Death Match, Hacksaw Jim Duggan will meet Nikolai Volkoff. But up first, more action from the Legend’s Unleashed Tag Team Title Tournament.

Harley Race is in the office with Booker Bill. Bill asks Race why he is not looking out for his tag team partner since they are still in the running for the Legend’s Unleashed Tag Team Titles. Race tells Booker Bill Duggan can take of himself. Race is more concerned with where Bruiser Costa is. Race has some unfinished business with Costa. Booker Bill assures Race he has not seen Costa in the Arena tonight and that the last time Booker Bill saw Costa he was running to the parking lot. Race tells Booker Bill he better start running after Costa and do whatever it takes to get him back into the ring or Race may have to find a substitute for Costa and he will start looking for that individual in this very office.

I am really enjoying Booker Bill laying down the law but man is he making it difficult for Buddy Rogers to get that title shot. Randy Savage is as good as they come and the "Nature Boy" unfortunately found that out. I am really looking forward to Randy Savage vs. RVD for the title that should be incredible.

Bobo Brazil & Brutus Beefcake is quite the unique pairing and congrats to them on that DQ win over Ted Dibiase & Bruiser Brody. I was hoping to see Brody & Dibiase advance but the big man lost his cool. The Road Warriors looked awesome in that win over The Axe Attack. I was hoping to see Hacksaw Jim Duggan win but credit Nikolai Volkoff for his Death Match victory.
