The tag team gauntlet played out well. The Roadies looking good only to lose in controversial fashion. DiBiase & Brody vs. The Leg Breakers should be quite a battle.

Race winning in convincing fashion to retain the title is always okay by me.

Not surprised that Race retained the top prize, but it was crazy to see him put down Hennig with such ease...

Thoroughly enjoyed the tag team gauntlet... DiBiase and Brody might be the number one contenders, but I doubt the Road Warriors will take matters lying down...

I agree with the others in that the Tag Team Gauntlet was great and I am psyched that Ted Dibiase & Bruiser Brody won it. I can't wait for them to challenge The Destroyer & Greg Valentine for the tag titles. The Road Warriors were sore losers as far as I am concerned but don't tell them I said that I was expecting more out of Curt Hennig but Harley Race is as good as they come and there is a reason that he is the champ.

Season 1 – Episode 23 – Tensions Rise

Booker Bill meets with Legend’s Champion Harley Race in his office. Booker Bill tells Race that he has chosen his next challenger and Race interrupts telling Booker Bill Rob Van Dam will not get another shot at his title. Booker Bill tells Race that it will not be Van Dam who gets the next shot, rather it will be someone who he knows very well. His former tag team partner Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Race laughs off the challenge but his laughter is cut short that Van Dam will indeed get his rematch with Race and that match will take place as the main event of the season ending Arena Wars. And, the match will be ladder match! Race is furious!

Announcers are buzzing and confirm that the season will end with a special two episode Arena Wars!

RVD looks primed and ready after that Death Match win over a tough Pampero Firpo. Randy Savage over Lou Thesz was a huge win for the "Macho Man". The Double Axe Attack vs. Iron Sheik & Daivari was pretty intense as was that main event with Greg Valentine & The Destroyer fortunate to retain the tag titles against Bruiser Brody & Ted Dibiase. The action in Legends Unleashed has reached a fever pitch.

Thanks for the comments cruefan68 . I was really hoping several key feuds would build up as we head into the end of the season. Race as champion has been a lot of fun. Plus, the success of the Destroyer & Valentine has been a real highlight of the colour legends introduction set for me.

Season 1 – Episode 24 – Tough Guy Challenge

We open in the office of Booker Bill who is with Curt and Larry Hennig. Booker Bill asks about Larry Hennig’s condition whose forearm is bandaged. Hennig says he is fine and wants Sheik in the ring . . . tonight. Booker Bill is glad to hear Hennig is ready for a fight because he will get his chance for revenge tonight as Booker Bill says Hennig will face Iron Sheik one on one. As well, Booker Bill comments that the Double Axe Attack were not in the tag team gauntlet and therefore they did not get an opportunity to compete for a title shot. Booker Bill says he is going to address that situation by giving the Double Axe Attack the Legends Unleashed Tag Team Title Match at Arena Wars!

The announcers are blown away and hype Arena Wars which gets underway next episode. Already signed is the main event with Harley Race defending the Legends Unleashed Title against Rob Van Dam in a ladder match, that is provided Race retains the title in tonight’s main event. Plus, Double Axe Attack takes on Legends Unleashed Tag Team Champions The Destroyer & Greg Valentine

RVD appeared to have some momentum going into his big title match, but Race just stopped him cold... Arena Wars delivered plenty of sweet action and I'm looking forward to the fallout from this big event... There's going to be some bad blood brewing between Larry Hennig and his son... And the escalating feud between the Road Warriors and DiBiase & Brody will not be for the squeamish... Awesome stuff!

Wow three outstanding shows in a row. Harley Race killed it beating both Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Rob Van Dam. Race is tearing it up as the champion but I'm hoping that Randy Savage gets his shot, he really deserves it after beating Lou Thesz for a second time. Road Warriors vs. Dibiase & Brody has been an incredible feud. It is cool to imagine Brody exchanging blows with Hawk and Animal. I don't know why but I really like the pairing of Lou Albano and Bruiser Costa.
