8MW -- Part IV (Who gets in?!)

I have to assume there is a CHANCE we get a part IV, and thus, I want to predict who we get.

For my money, Valedictorian and Ninja Star/Shadow are locks.  I'd love to get Jupiter too, even if he wouldn't be a top wrestler.

Mullet Brothers, O'Hooligan, Reptile Ranger, Exotic Rick, Slugger/Slammer Johnson, etc.

I think my #1 pick would be Valedictorian.

I've wanted Slugger Johnson since the first set. I would like Michael T. Wolf to go with Mighty Leo, Valedictorian would be nice, after that I'm open to anyone.

Here is what I would like to see from 80's Mania Part 4:
First of, an 8 pack is a must. It has been since set one and should continue with Part 4. Also going to stick with the 4 and 4 Good Guy/ Bad Guy dynamic.
OK, so my picks to be in the Part 4 set. First, let's start with the main event guys. I think the bad guy spot should go to Dr. B! The guy is your starting World champ in the app game and STILL doesn't have a card?! Most of the rest of the starting roster does (I think Pat Cabbage may be the only other one who doesn't at this point). I think he is WAY overdue for a card.
As for the good guy main event...they don't have any left that aren't also Bad Guys...I think Valedictorian would be a good choice, so why not. Him or Ninja Shadow.
I think the next two spots should go to Troglo and Michael T. Wolf so that we can have Neanderthals and Howl & Roar. Honestly I think we need more tag teams in the sets themselves and not just in Promoter Prime. And that leads me to..
Picks Five and Six...Big Thuggee and Lil' Thuggee, the Slave Drivers. A feud with Arizona Chance (official with Big) and Red Pirate Rogers just seems natural. Also they are one of my favorite teams in the app game.
And last but not least picks Seven and Eight...Herman the Nerd and Waldo the Dweeb, Nerd Alert! A fun little joke tag team that could be some fun and also give me a reason to use the Professor Gigawatt chart for the first time.
OH, and as a bonus, if they decide to do a Promoter Prime release alongside this one as the have the last two I think those spots should go to Dungeon Crawler and Goblinknight! Two guys, one good, one bad, and they are feud opponents to boot. No one game breaking if we don't get them, and not another tag team.
So yeah, those are just my ideas.

Absolutely does Dr. B get in. Ashamed I forgot about him. He and Val are gimmies, as is Michael T. Wolf.

I agree with you about the PP having two feuding wrestlers instead of the tag team. And Goblinknight/Dungeoncrawler are fantastic picks.

Also, I want to see Troglo too.

Totslly agree that Promoter Prime shouldn't have another tag team. I like the 80s mania stuff a lot but I am frustrated the only way to get Neon Express and now Metalheads is via Promoter Prime. When the budget is tight I cannot justify to myself buying PP just for a couple of cards. I really hope they offer them as a separate purchase at some stage. Unfortunately that's the only way will ever get them.

I don't play the app but have learned about a fair few characters so my picks would be Reptile Ranger, Pop King, Mandonna, Jupiter, Valedictorian, Waldo the Dweeb, Herman the Nerd, Exotic Rick

It's tough as there are so many great characters it sounds like still to come. But I like the idea of the posedown between Rick and Buzzsaw in homage to Warrior/Rude. I like an undercard feud between Mandonna and Pop King. Of course Valedictorian and Jupiter have all sorts of implications for Buzzsaw and Brohan too. I just loved WWF 1988 - 1991 so parodies of some of those great feuds are stuff I'd love to do.

One thing to note as well -- there are a LOT of alter egos. Personally, I'd rather have a lot of different characters, rather than the alter egos. I can turn the Piranha into the Shark whenever I want. Even though Ace of Spades is my favourite character, I'd rather have Troglo, Jupiter, even Mandonna before I get the alter ego.

Maybe somewhere down the line, we get a PDF download of alter egos. That would be cool.

Also, so surprised about the love for Dweeb/Nerd. What's the appeal for you folks?

Promoter prime would be the place to get the alter egos of the wrestlers. Promoter prime already did that for some of the LOW wrestlers, notably maya Singh and Dark patriot. So I would think the alter egos will be in future promoter primes.
