I think at this point there's a zero percent chance we ever get another. Seems that company and Filsinger have moved in different directions.

Yeah I think you're probably right. Shame as it was pretty cool. I couldn't get into the 80s Mania app but loved the cards

Yeah the app needs something, I dont know what it is. I've played it a little but theres just something it needs to keep me playing. Shrugs.

I can confirm that the contract between Filsinger and Checkmate Creative expired sometime in mid-2020. That contract would have the 80s Mania cards in Filsinger games, in exchange for Brute and Massacre being in the 80s Mania game. With the contract expiring, Brute and Massacre were ultimately replaced by Sava'i and Tupu.
How do I know this? Well, it was announced on the 80s Mania Facebook page.
