Not sure this is the right place to post this but since it concerns future printings I thought I would post it here.
Tonight I had a match pitting The New Age Outlaws vs The Fabulous Ones. I rolled it out online and there was some confusion because all four of the cards had Bold instructions for singles/tag team matches but they were opposite.
The New Age Outlaws have bold instructions to use in tag matches while The Fabulous Ones have bold instructions for singles matches.
I’m sure if I was rolling this out with cards and dice as opposed to online, it wouldn’t have been as confusing but I had to keep reminding myself which bold stats was which because both come up in the online roller.
Anyway, I’m wondering if this could be standardized on cards forward? I get why they were done this way for these two teams but I’m just wondering if it could be streamlined. Bold stats are alway tag stats. Or always singles stats. I know junior heavyweight stats are bold too, so may\be this is all impossible. Just bringing it up for discussion.
I had brought this up to the crew a while back. There was some thought that the standard stats should be those expected to be used the most (so bold singles modifiers for mostly tag guys, and vice versa). My feeling was that you don't know how everyone is going to use the cards. My thought was for heavyweight singles stats as the standard and bold modifiers for other situations. Not sure this will be used done in the future, but glad you pointed it out.
Yes, thank you for pointing this out, Grant. We do try to be consistent in a lot of formatting and common card features like these.
And thanks for bumping up this thread!
