www.yahoo.com/news/tna-reportedly-wants-bring-back-184033019.htmlAs we head into 2017, TNA is in the midst of a pretty thorough overhaul. Dixie Carter is out as primary shareholder, Billy Corgan is no longer with the company, and new owners Anthem Sports are in control. In addition, longtime head writer Dave Lagana has also departed, and the roster shake-ups have already begun. Now Impact Wrestling is considering bringing back founder and longtime TNA figurehead Jeff Jarrett, who has spent the last few years trying to find a television home for his promotion, Global Force Wrestling. In a report at PWInsider.com , Mike Johnson says Anthem Sports opened talks with Jarrett last Monday about returning. No agreement has been reached yet, but if Jarrett returns, Global Force Wrestling would remain its own separate entity. Johnson speculated that TNA is hoping to bring back Jarrett and Scott D’Amore to head up their new creative division, in part as replacements for Lagana. There is also the possibility that Global Force would be part of some sort of Impact Wrestling company rebranding. Further, it’s possible GFW may finally find a home on Fight Network, which was reportedly looking to add more programming and was part of the impetus behind Anthem (Fight Network’s parent company) taking over TNA.
