One question on my mind is simply -- who is the greatest wrestler of all-time?  What is the greatest federation of all time?

In order to find out, I have brought in three people to help me decide.  Each represents a different organization and a different time.

The first, is the man known as Omega of Cetus.  As promoter/owner of the Galactic Wrestling Federation in the year 2087, Omega would say that his federation has the best wrestlers of all-time.  While other federations may span decades, the GWF is a century ahead of everyone else -- after all, they are recruiting from all over the galaxy.  They have learned from the mistakes of other groups, and can move forward knowing what will work.  Detractors say the GWF is not what wrestling is all about -- and when it comes to it, they will not be able to keep up with the real pioneers of the sport.

The second, is a well-respected woman who always provides Stratusfaction.  Trish Stratus has been tasked with running the Legends Wrestling Federation, as she is one of the few the wrestlers could trust to run the organization respectably.  Trish has done a solid job of recruiting wrestlers, dating back to the early years of wrestling right up until the modern day.  She says the LWF features the pioneers of the sport as well as the heroes around the turn of the century.  Opponents say it's too much about the old school style rather than the fancy style of the future.

Last but not least, is Mr. Fantasy from Wrestle World.  This is the federation focused around wrestling's most popular period: the 1980's.  Mr. Fantasy says this was when the characters really became alive, and really proved what wrestling was and is capable of.  He says this is when wrestlers became superstars.  He points to the epic Dude Brohan vs. Pierre the Enormous match from Monster Mayhem III, which drew one of the biggest crowds in history.  Others say this is when wrestling became sports-entertainment, and that's not a good thing.  They say this time was too cartoony.

...but who is right?  How do we find out?

Welcome to Time Travel Wrestling.  The umbrella organization for the three federations that will take place in this universe.  We will begin in "January of Year 1", with a major event which will feature every wrestler signed to a contract.  This means all 26 GWF wrestlers, all 28 WW wrestlers and 36 LWF wrestlers will face each other to determine the first TTW Champion, which can only be defended on the major shows (January, May, September.)  Each federation will also have its own champion and tag champions whose titles can be defended at their respective big cards. (GWF: February, June, October. WW: March, July, November.  LWF: April, August, December.)

The first big event:

JANUARY - The Great Skirmish

(Described as three Royal Rumble events in one -- such a big match, no other matches fit on the card.  Three rings will feature Royal Rumble-like rules, where #1 through #30 are drawn at random.  Once all ninety wrestlers have entered, all remaining wrestlers will converge on the centre ring, and regular battle royale will get underway.)

JANUARY - The Great Skirmish

(All three Royal Rumbles are going on at once, in three separate areas. The survivors of each Rumble will not know who they are facing, until the very end.)



Rumble #1: (Part One!)



We will begin with 90 men, in three rings. Once all 30 have entered each Rumble, the remaining wrestlers will all enter the second ring, and the battle continues -- until one man is declared the TTW Heavyweight Champion. Backstage, we see all three authority figures, watching an individual ring. While, Omega of Cetus watches ring #2 closely, Mr. Fantasy and Trish Stratus are watching ring #1. Mr. Fantasy seems overly confident, while Trish looks on with concern. After all, one of her best will be entering very early on...



#1. AJ Styles



"The Phenomenal One" makes his way down the aisle, and he is looking a bit disturbed. In the past, people have outlasted 29 other men to win a Royal Rumble.. but has anyone ever outlasted 29 men, only to just qualify for the final?! AJ knows he has his work cut out for him. Trish makes a comment backstage -- if anyone can do it, it's AJ Styles.



#2. Bug Buster



"Who Ya Gonna Call?" hits the stadium, and we now know the exterminator himself will enter at #2! BB charges into the ring, and starts a sing-along with the crowd to his catchy theme song! He turns around, right into a Pele Kick, and AJ takes the opportunity to throw him up and over! We have our first elimination!

#3. Beast-Rider



The crowd is stunned by the next competitor. Beast-Rider comes down to the ring, riding a huge monster! Dare we say, a beast! He does not give AJ the chance to jump him, and the two men lock-up in the ring. AJ gets the advantage, and works Rider into the corner, where he attempts to lift him to the top-rope. Styles nearly has him out, but ...



#4. Dizzy Lixx



...here comes Dizzy Lixx to come in, and dropkick BR from behind! AJ is stunned! He just had an elimination stolen!

Styles starts attacking Lixx, and the crowd really starts to get behind him. AJ is definitely the early favourite here.



#5. Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake



Cuttin' and a struttin'! Hedge-clippers and all, the Barber makes his way into the ring, and joins Dizzy Lixx in attacking AJ Styles. They proceed to hit some double-team moves, and they take advantage! Beefcake starts strutting around the ring, and the crowd is now booing him. He chose the wrong man to team up with! Before he can respond to the jeers, Dizzy Lixx grabs him from behind and tosses him out of the ring! How's that for a surprise? Dizzy Lixx, a tag-team specialist, has two early eliminations!

#6. Lou Albano



Albano sucker punches Lixx right off the bat, and makes a rude gesture to the crowd. This "classy" competitor looks like he'll do anything to win. He doesn't get much of a chance, as AJ Styles is back to his feet. Styles catches Albano with a discus lariat, and locks in the Calf Killer! Albano is tapping! ..but, he isn't eliminated. At least, not yet!



#7. Cobalt Commander



Cobalt Commander makes his way down to the ring, and points to the other people wearing blue in the audience. Does this man have a cult of some sort? Very few, start chanting "blue, blue" while the rest of the crowd chants, "boo, boo"! CC joins in on the attack on Albano, as Dizzy Lixx recovers in the corner.



#8. Wolf



"AWOO!" The crowd explodes, as one of the biggest stars in the GWF is making his way into the fray! Wolf comes in and goes right after Dizzy Lixx! As they do battle, AJ Styles turns on CC, hitting him with a Pelé Kick! He attempts to throw him out, with no success.



#9. Rob Van Dam



"Rob... Van... Dam!" The crowd joins in the chant, and the high-flyer jumps into the ring. He and Wolf face-off, while AJ Styles grabs the injured Lou Albano, and drops him over the top rope and to the floor. He is out!

#10. Warhawk



Helicopters can be heard overhead, and down drops Warhawk! The crowd doesn't know what to make of this guy! ..until he cheap-shots Wolf, and launches him over the top rope and to the floor. Wolf looks up in shock! He can't believe he is out already! Warhawk looks to clean house!

#11. Pampero Firpo



Talk about a strange individual. Firpo walks into the ring, and just starts taking over. He grabs Dizzy Lixx, and throws him into the second row! He heads over to RVD and starts smashing him with fists. At this point, Styles catches Warhawk off-guard, and does everything he can to eliminate him. Somehow, Warhawk hangs on.

#12. Brute



Mr. Fantasy won't be happy about this one. Brute comes in, points at Styles, charges at him, and Styles moves, letting Brute tumble over the rope and to the floor!

As Styles mocks him for being so stupid, RVD dropkicks Styles, and he goes out to the floor!

Warhawk heads over to RVD, and the two battle near the ropes. Firpo comes over and double clotheslines them BOTH over the top rope! Firpo is on fire!

Cobalt Commander sees the angry man, and quickly hits him with Poison Powder to slow him down. Just like that, the ring only contains two wrestlers. Until..



#13. The Destroyer



..The Destroyer enters the Rumble! He teams up with CC to go after Pampero Firpo. Clearly, he is the big threat right now, even if he was a victim of Poison Powder. They double team him for the entire time, while the crowd gets behind Firpo!



#14. Keith Blood



One-half of the Shop of Horrors makes his way to the ring slowly, and he yells at the two men to hold Firpo in place! They look at each other, shrug their shoulders, and hold Firpo in place. Blood charges, and Firpo gets a boot up! He slams CC and The Destroyer together, and they crash heads. Firpo grabs Blood, hits El Garfio, and out goes Keith Blood! As the numbers count down for the next wrestler, Firpo grabs Commander, and out he goes!

#15. Bruiser Costa



Bruiser Costa! He makes his way to the ring, and offers his hand to Firpo! The Destroyer attacks Firpo from behind, and puts him down. Costa offers his hand to The Destroyer! The Destroyer lifts him into an airplane spin, slams him down, locks him in the Figure Four Leglock, and yells at Costa to exit the ring! Costa is hurt, decides to leave, but Destroyer helps him on his way out of the ring.

Rumble #1: (Part Two!)

We return to ring #1 where two of Trish Stratus' toughest are left going head-to-head. The two LWF superstars, Pampero Firpo and The Destroyer are exchanging shots, when the next man enters the match.

#16. Dude Brohan

SURF'S UP! The WW's top wrestler has made his way into the ring! What'cha gonna do?! As he stands on the turnbuckle to show-off, The Destroyer comes from behind and knocks him to the arena floor. Mr. Fantasy is in the back with his head in his hands! Brohan was supposed to be one of his top dogs! What the hell happened?!

#17. Skullgore

A man known for being pure evil will have his turn, and he challenges both Firpo and The Destroyer to a fight! Destroyer goes first, and takes Skullgore down with a big clothesline. Firpo grabs him by the hair, and launches him out of the ring. Mr. Fantasy is freaking out now. Just like that, two of his best are gone! Trish Stratus can't help but smile. She knows many of the LWF wrestlers were built for these multi-man matches.

#18. Petey Williams

Here's a man the fans love to see! Canadian Petey Williams climbs the top turnbuckle and hits a big dropkick on Firpo! The Destroyer won't even engage the high-flyer, choosing to instead, tackle him from behind. He quickly launches the high-flyer to the outside. Firpo gets to his feet, and The Destroyer catches him with a big tackle too! Firpo is out of this match!

The Destroyer is on a roll, picking up his fourth elimination. For those keeping score, that's ten eliminations between him and Pampero Firpo. Only The Destroyer remains in the ring.

#19. Gorgeous George

The boos keep coming. In comes Gorgeous George, with Cherie Dupré on the outside. She distracts The Destroyer, and that allows GG to get the upper hand. He starts to choke him on the ropes, as the next man comes out..

#20. Comrade Terror

In an unlikely save, Comrade Terror pulls GG off of The Destroyer, and puts him down with a huge slam! Terror stalks his prey, and kicks George right over the top rope and to the floor. The competitors cannot stay in the ring long enough to build any sort of momentum! The Destroyer came in at #13, for goodness sake!

#21. Larry "The Axe" Hennig

"The Axe" has been bragging about how this match is perfect for him. He comes in and starts hammering away on The Destroyer. It looks like Hennig may have done some serious damage! Comrade Terror joins in on the assault.

#22. Killer Queen

Now here is someone who does not want to get in on the action. He sits in the corner, and tries not to draw any attention. It does not work. As The Destroyer fights back against Terror and Hennig, The Destroyer makes his way over to KQ and stomps on him in the corner. An all-out brawl begins in the ring!

#23. Star Boy

Star Boy races down to the ring, charges at Hennig, who launches Star Boy seemingly 40 feet in the air! Star Boy flies to the outside, landing in the fifth row! What power by "The Axe"! The crowd is in shock!

#24. Rad Racer

..and in almost an instant replay (randomly select by the dice, by the way..) Rad Racer charges at.. you guessed it! Hennig! "The Axe" launches the Racer into the air, and into the third row! Not as far as Star Boy, but oh my goodness. Larry Hennig is on fire.

#25. Frank Dalton

This is a good draw for the underdog Frank Dalton. He comes in slowly, and avoids the crazy action. While he watches, Comrade Terror hammers The Destroyer, who catches the Comrade with Bombs Away! As Comrade is down, Hennig comes out of nowhere, and catches Terror with a big boot! Comrade goes out, and we're down to Hennig, Destroyer, Killer Queen and Dalton!

#26. "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

Could DiBiase have purchased such a good draw in the Rumble? It's certainly possible! The four men look at the newcomer, who starts to try and buy his opponents! He says, anyone who automatically eliminates themselves, can have $100,000! The Destroyer ignores him, and goes for Frank Dalton, landing some big kicks. Hennig goes after Killer Queen. In the confusion, DiBiase comes from behind and drops a knee into the back of The Destroyer! DiBiase uses his leverage, and out goes The Destroyer! What a run he had!!

#27. Marty Jannetty

Right before the Rocker can do a whole lot, DiBiase charges at Hennig, but the Axe launches him up and over the top rope to the floor! Ted didn't fly too far, but far enough that he is out, and furious! Jannetty goes right for Killer Queen, leaving Hennig and Dalton to face-off!

#28. Road Warrior Animal

We're down to the nitty-gritty, with Road Warrior joining the action. Killer Queen catches Dalton with a Checkmate, and he gets caught with a dropkick fron Jannetty. Hennig and Animal go face-to-face, and they start swinging for the fences!

#29. Rock Riddle

Here's a man who wants to make a name for himself! He runs right into the centre of the ring, and starts chirping at Animal and Hennig! Hennig grabs the small man, lifts him over his head and drops him over the top rope and onto the floor! Animal comes from behind, and clotheslines Hennig out! The Axe is gone!!

#30. Bruiser Brody

..and now it's time for #30. How did a monster like Bruiser Brody end up with the #30 spot? He walks right into the centre of the ring, and challenges everyone. Killer Queen stands in one corner, Marty Jannetty in another. Animal stands tall, looking directly at the monster, while Frank Dalton kneels in the corner, on one knee. These are the survivors of the first Royal Rumble, and they are about to be transported to the second ring. Who will be waiting for them? As it stands, four Legends Wrestling Federation wrestlers will be in the final battle, while Killer Queen is the only Galaxian Wrestling Federation member to qualify. Mr. Fantasy is furious backstage, as not a single Wrestle World competitor made it to the final round from this Rumble. How will he fare in the other two? Only time will tell!
