BRIDGESTONE ARENA
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
MONEY INC. : TED DIBIASE & DDP
beat by CO
'WILD' BILL WHITE & RON HUTCHISON 2
* Hutchison started like a man possessed, beating DDP to every punch. A hot tag brought Dibiase into the ring and the momentum sifted and Money Inc. never looked back. A Gut Wrench Suplex put Hutch down for a two count, then a Power Slam put him down for another two count. Hutchison tried to catch his breath by rolling out of the ring but was met by DDP and a Diamond Cutter on the floor, as The Million Dollar Man distracted the ref in the ring.
IRON SHEIK 1
/w/ Lou Albano
beat by SUB
PAMPERO FIRPO 2
* The Sheik took Firpo to suplex city with a Sidewinder Suplex, multiple Vertical Suplexs and a couple of Belly To Belly Suplexs. Firpo somehow fought back and even scored a near fall after El Garfio but missed a Flying Elbow Drop which allowed Sheik to apply an Abdominal Stretch. The Wild Bull fought out of it but the damage was done and he was easy picking with a Camel Clutch.
THE DREAM TEAM : GREG 'THE HAMMER' VALENTINE 1 & BRUTUS BEEFCAKE
beat by PIN
FLAMBOYANCE : GORGEOUS GEORGE & DALTON CASTLE 2
/w/ Cherie Dupre & The Boys
: George and Castle looked magnificent early, tagging in and out while working over Valentine. Castle got a two count on the Hammer after a Kneelift/Suplex Combo, but too much showboating after allowed Greg to make the tag. Beefcake surprised Dalton with a Powerslam for a one count, followed quickly by a Sleeper!! Castle managed to reach the ropes but, groggy, stumbled right into a Tombstone Piledriver and was pinned.
RUSSIAN CHAIN MATCH!
'HACKSAW' JIM DUGGAN 2

NIKOLAI VOLKOFF 4

* Both men used the chain to hit, whip and choke the other on multiple occasions. A chain wrapped arm Tough Guy Clothesline put the big Russian down and a Flying Spear put him out!
RUSSIAN CHAIN MATCH!
'HACKSAW' JIM DUGGAN 2
pinned
LOU ALBANO 2
* Albano kept trying to run but a vicious yank of the chain kept bringing him back to his asskicking. Hacksaw took his time in busting Albano open before delivering a Flying Spear to end it.
'MACHO MAN' RANDY SAVAGE 1
/w/ Madison Rayne
pinned
LOU THESZ 3
* Thesz took Savage to the mat and dominated the action early, he got a two count after a Greco-Roman Backdrop. Savage was trying to clear the cob webs but Thesz wouldn't give a minute to breath so Madison jumped on the ring apron and distracted Lou. Suddenly Davina Rose charged the ring and attacked Rayne, which further distracted Thesz and the ref, allowing Savage to take control with a low blow. The Macho Man went to the top as quick as a cat and hit a Flying Elbow Drop but Thesz kicked out at two!! Again Savage went to the top, quicker this time, and hit another Flying Elbow Drop but again Thesz kicked out!!!! In disbelief Savage once again went to the top and delivered another (3rd) Flying Elbow Drop for the 1.2..3..!
* Editor's note* Lou Thesz remains winless (0-3) to the shock and amazement of everyone. His competition has been stiff, Rogers twice and Savage, but winless??
G.W.F. HERITAGE CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH
'THE NATURE BOY' BUDDY ROGERS 2 (C)
/w/ "Pretty Boy' Bobby Heenan
beat by SUB
THE DESTROYER 4
* The sensational masked man used Body Slams, Leg Scissors and Backbreakers to keep Rogers reeling. Two straight Handstand Knee Drops got the Destroyer consecutive two count falls on the champ, then a Bombs Away seemed to put him away. Heenan managed to pull his man out of the ring before the Destroyer could make the cover but paid for it when the Destroyer hit him with a siding out of the ring drop kick. As the masked man continued his assault on Heenan he was caught from behind by The Nature Boy with a Jumping Knee Smash. Rogers then threw the Destroyer back in the ring and delivered consecutive Piledrivers but only managed to score two counts, he then locked in the Figure Four Grapevine. The Destroyer struggled, fought the pain, and made it to the ropes, forcing the break. Rogers quickly drug the Destroyer back to the center of the ring by his ankle and locked in the Figure Four Grapevine again! This time there was no escape and the Destroyer had no choice but to give up.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH!
JIMMY SNUKA 3
/w/ Lou Albano
pinned
BRUISER BRODY 4
* These two fought all over the arena and ended up in the parking lot where Snuka hit a Superfly leap from atop a car!!!
* Editors note* Rolled this match with my son and didn't keep notes but we had a blast!!!
* After the match a cloaked figure got out of a car and attacked an exhausted Snuka with some kind of foreign object. He then helped Brody up and into the car and sped off.
G.W.F. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
TEAM EXTREME : RVD & JERRY LYNN
beat by DQ
THE ROADWARRIORS : HAWK & ANIMAL 1 (C)
* Van Dam put Animal down QUICK with a Split Legged Moonsault and was looking to follow it up with a Five Star but Animal rolled out of the ring. Not wanting to give Animal a break RVD went for a suicide dive through the ropes, but was hit right in the face with flying steel ring steps, that Animal threw out of desperation. The ref immediately called for the bell and awarded the match to Team Extreme but the Warriors left with their belts.
