AND ANOTHER ONE John Hurt, who starred in a slew of hit movies, reportedly has died. Hurt, who appeared in "Alien," "V for Vendetta," "The Elephant Man," 'Harry Potter,' "Dr. Who" and "1984," died Friday of pancreatic cancer, He was 77

Bob Holiday, who played Clark Kent/Superman in the Broadway musical It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman!, has died. He was 84. Holiday was the first actor to play Superman on the stage, and the first live-action Superman after the death of George Reeves, who played the role on TV's The Adventures of Superman from 1952-1958.

Mary T.M., Mannix, and Kane from Alien. Wow, RIP all of them. I enjoyed them all. John Hurt was also the mad emperor Caligula on "I, Claudius" from the 70's. Wow, he was over-the-top but really good in that!

Pac-Man Creator Masaya Nakamura Dies at 91 The Japanese business giant who helped put Pac-Man on the path to chomping dots and ghosts has gone to the great arcade in the sky. Masaya Nakamura, founder of Namco, died on January 22 ... according to a release from the company on Monday. Namco released Pac-Man in 1980 ... and has been inhaling dots at record pace ever since. The game was named the highest-grossing arcade game of all time last year.

Makes sense especially as arcade games are pretty much a relic of the past and nowhere near as prominent as they were in the 80s.

John Wetton, a progressive rock figurehead who performed in bands such as King Crimson, Uriah Heep, and Roxy Music before leading the supergroup Asia in the 1980’s, has died following a battle with cancer. He was 67 years old.
