As a Star Wars fan, I really liked watching TV shows like Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica. RIP Captain Apollo.

So weird. The comic book store next door to my job has a poster up advertising Richard Hatch for an upcoming con here on Long Island and I was telling my buddy as we walked past the other day it would be cool to go meet him.
Can't decide who I wanted to be more at 8 years old, Luke Skywalker or Apollo! Seems like it was on a lot longer, yet somehow Battlestar Galactica only ran for 1 season (Galactica 1980 does NOT count).
I can remember those Sunday nights like they were yesterday! And yeah, Buck Rogers was pretty cool too. Interesting fact: Both Buck Rogers & Battlestar were produced by Glen A. Larson. Look closely and you'll notice a lot of the same sets & backgrounds on both shows.
R.I.P. Apollo

Richard Hatch was a guest on the web series I did for Stan Lee and he was super nice and funny. Great to work with. He will be missed.
