Hearing news that Emily Dole, GLOW's Mt. Fiji has passed away. If you've seen the GLOW documentary, you know how good a person she was. RIP While I am 110% pro police, I understand that obviously everyone is fallable, regardless of occupation. Immense respect for Ms. Dole standing up to the police force who then beat her and her family. Combine her story in 89 w Rodney King in 91, really makes you wonder WTF was going on w the LAPD back then. RIP |
