I respect you whole-heartedly, Rob. However, if we can get tweets about new sets to buy, we customers could use some form of information and update. It's been a month. Ok, you are starting to sound like the entire company should come to a hault because of this. Just because online doesn't work does not mean games don't get released. Filsinger Games will still release products. Because while you are apparently seriously upset because Online is still not 100% fixed (which I can understand), the bulk of Filsinger Games has always been, and should continue to be, the physical game. You spent a lot of money to play online, so did I, but that doesn't give you the right to whine about those of us who don't play online continuing to get products. And while yes, news would be nice (who the Q2 PP cards are, for instance) that things are pogressing, you can't just think that Tom and the online team are just sitting and doing nothing. Let them work and make announcements when they are ready to. I've done my best to stay out of this exchange because I believe that Tom and his team are definitely working hard to make the overall online experience better... But, I don't think anyone was 'whining' about physical card sets being released... I think some people are just expressing a valid concern about not knowing what's going on... Here is my honest standpoint... I can wait for upgrades that will make the game better... I can wait for 6 months... I can wait for a year... And if it's something that can't be helped, I can even wait for new sets to be released online... These are all things that were not promised to me when I made my initial purchase... Therefore, I am more than happy to be patient and celebrate these changes when they finally do take place... As long as I can log into FG online and play the game in a reasonable fashion, then I am happy.  There are still some issues with the existing game that I would like to see resolved (for example, the ability to use the Create-a-Character feature) because these are things that worked when I made my initial purchase... This is one of the most loyal and supportive communities that I have ever seen... And I don't think anyone is losing faith in FG as a whole... I think a little bit of communication would go a long way - And I think it's the only thing that is being truly asked for at this point in time. Cheers! |

See, but if it was just asking questions about timetables and such I could understand it. But to do it over and over and over, and then to question why we don't get those and yet we still get announcements about upcoming product (like any good business does) is something else. And to question if online will be fixed in the thread for the physical set is beyond annoying. We get it, you play online, just be patient and get the same information everyone else does. To keep bringing it up every post is redundant. Starts to sound like the kids in the car asking "are we there yet".
Have you tried emailing Tom directly? Or Todd? Or anyone else on Team Filsinger? They obviously are not responding here, why not try that avenue? Instead of making every post "Is it done yet?"

Hey gang! Sorry for not being in touch more lately but very busy balancing my not-so-secret identity as a mild-mannered college prof with making plans for online. It's wild and crazy end of semester and finals time to say nothing of I've been very busy working with Darryl and Werner on REGIME CHANGE 2133. (By the way the latest CotG expansion will have the usual litany of shockers!).
Next week I can breath a sigh of relief that the semester is over and I will communicate our plans on a more regular basis (in between writing 2133 game cards).

Is there a link for this year's Promoter Prime? I can't find anything on the website. Promoter Prime right now is just for the printed cards. They are available here: filsingergames.com/products-page/promoterprime/Still waiting on the new Online team to be in place before the online version will be launched. In all likelyhood the Q1 and Q2 cards will all be released together. This will include 2 indie cards, 2 Chikara cards and 2 Legends cards. At this point Q3 will include 2 COTG cards, 2 Indie cards and 2 Olde Wrestling cards. Q4 will have 2 each from Legends, Indie and COTG. Thanks for this info. I'll have to wait for the online option so I can print them up myself as that cost is pretty high for me being an overseas player. Glad to see we're potentially getting six Legends through PP though, so I will certainly be purchasing with the download option eventually becomes available. |
