My problem with this is they're doing this because they want 46 year old Daniels to have the belt. They could do worse than that but you have Dalton Castle who can barely get out of the mid-card on most shows. No one on the roster is anywhere near as over as Castle is right now. He should be the champion and be the centerpiece of the promotion.

Do you know what the DDT price is going to be? I hate their set up but I'm guessing that will change over time. 900 yen (so like $8.90 right now I think) and you get the first month for free but you can't cancel during the free trial so you have to at least pay for one month. It's super easy to navigate and there's Shuji Ishikawa matches on there so it's aces to me. Done. Love me some DDT.

Castle's overness is downright ridiculous and ROH just continues to ignore it.

One of the first ROH shows I saw has Daniels as TV champion vs El Generico. They tore the house down.

Hopefully Ishikawa and Takayama have a singles match at some point this year. You also get a bunch of DDT's side promotions (sadly no HARD HIT though) so there's actually a lot more depth in terms of content than you'd expect from a service like this at this stage.

I know the DDT Joshi promotion is surprisingly solid in the main events. I really wish some of those promotions would merge instead of fighting over the same fanbase. But I guess JWA is going away so that might start happening.

In terms of the joshi groups, Sendai Girls is probably my favorite (love the hell out of Chihiro Hashimoto and Meiko Satomura) but Stardom's product is great.

Stardom seems to have the best top to bottom product. Sendai Girls probably have the best top talent. Oz Academy in theory should be awesome but the booking is the absolute worst. WAVE is okay if you stick to the main events.

WAVE is okay if you stick to the main events. SEAdLINNNNG taking some of Diana's top talent is interesting. A lot of their shows don't air but their product isn't that bad. Certainly nowhere near Stardom/Sendai Girls but probably way above Oz Academy if I had to rank the promotions. They did have that connection with ROH for a bit last year but that only seemed to result in a couple of appearances for Veda Scott and I think one for Jenny Rose.
