Well, it looks like my team drew some interesting first round opponents... If they can find a way to isolate Red Pirate Rogers from his teammates, all should go well... This is gonna be a wicked event!

Rooting for Animen Warriors, but not sure they will get far with the competition they have, but I think they will at least get past the first round. (fingers crossed)
Think it will come down to Genesis vs The New School.
This is gonna be good, can't wait to see how this develops.

I hope to get back to it at some point but for now, I'm running a singles tournament. I'll be posting the first round matches in blocks of four.
Independence Day Invasion
Alpha Force squashed Kill Prey with Ultimate Force. Prey got in a couple shots but Force grabbed control on the floor and then used Ultimate Force twice to put Prey down for the three count.
Janus put away King Lear with the Gordian Knot. Lear took a beating but was making a comeback. He went high risk though and Janus caught and superplexed him down to the mat before applying the Gordian Knot until Lear passed out.
Star Warrior finished off Blazing Skull with the Cosmic Big Bang (+5). This was a war and both had chances to win but eventually Warrior got on a roll and eventually hit his finisher on Skull to win.
Mandrill edged Iron Mane with the Colonizer Claw Slam. This could have gone either way as both had multiple chances to win. For a while, it looked like Iron Mane would take it but Mandrill finally came back and hit a piledriver and the Claw Slam to score the victory.

Pegasus came back to beat Turmoil with Project Pegasus. Turmoil dominated but he gave Pegasus an opening and Pegasus took advantage finally hitting his finisher and Turmoil was too stunned to kick out in time.
Bounty Hunter upset Payback with the Animal Trap. This was quite the war and Payback was his own worst enemy at times both missing an Exvenge and wearing himself down with some of his moves allowing Bounty Hunter to catch him in the Animal Trap for the three count.
Disaster edged Valour in a bloodbath with Rampage. Valour showed his determination by kicking out of Rampage twice. Disaster survived a pair of Violent Outbursts and in the end, one more Rampage finally gave Disaster the victory.
Wolf finally put away Nosfera with the Savage Face Claw (+4). This was wild brawl and both wrestlers simply tore into each other using everything in their arsenal but eventually Wolf caught Nosfera in the face claw and dropped his shoulder down for the pin.
