Oh The Irony!

While watching the "wedding" on Impact Wrestling last night, it occurred to me that....
1)  A real-life couple (Mike and Maria Kannellis-Bennett) in real life and storyline put this all together......
2)  Only to have the groom wreck the whole thing by declaring his love for his real life wife (Braxton Sutter and Allie)........
3)  And be assisted by a former real-life couple (Brooke and Robbie E.)

What would Broken Matt Hardy say about this? LOL

That's entertainment!!! I mean it does sound like something from Hollywood be it just like this or a movie doing a story line like this.

This ties into something I suggested TNA needs to look into doing. That is focusing on the real time relationships of wrestlers. Well I mean even more than they have to this point. Being on Pop, one of Pop's top draws is reruns of soap operas. With all the couples they could do some interesting stories. We have Maria/Mike, Braxton/Allie, Cody/Brandi, Davey/Angelina and I believe Eddies wife is a wrestler. That is 5 couples. You could also throw in Josh/Madison. Heck down the road they could bring back Bully/Velvet and Magnus/Mickie. That is a lot of mixed matches and possible love triangles. Now granted the true wrestling fan will not really care much but to get more casual fans in it could work.
