Magnus Colby slides the check across the table. Royal Overlord picks it up, looks at it, whistles.
COLBY: And that's just half. The other half you get when you take the Galaxian Tag Team Titles from the Greek Gods and deliver them to the Keepers of the Stone.
OVERLORD: Consider it done!
The men shake hands and get up to leave. As they depart, a hand emerges from the shadows with a flicker of fire dancing on its fingertips.
MCDUFF: Welcome to Saturday Night Invasion! What a great show we have tonight as we head, some of us reluctantly, towards the Escape From Aethra 94 ppv. Tonight, in our main event, the Greek Gods defend the Galaxian Tag Team Titles against Above the Law. I wanted to get a word with Solaris but the Champions of the Galaxy are still not talking....
COLBY: I will talk to you. Tonight, Above the Law will make history and change wresling history forever!
MCDUFF: You seem so confident in Royal Overlord's tag team.
COLBY: Let's just say, they have extra incentive tonight.
MCDUFF: Let's go to our opening bout.
THE COSMIC FORCES AND TENDRON THE DESTROYER w/DOOMSAYER VS THE SAVAGE KINGDOM
Matter pinned Terak (3 tokens) following a piledriver.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: THE COSMIC FORCES AND TENDRON THE DESTROYER
DOOMSAYER: What are the AniMen going to do in three weeks when an entire arena is cheering for poor Reptillo to tear them apart? I bet Doomsday Creature tops the list of non-Aethran fan favorites on Aethra! And with the cohesiveness of the Cosmic Forces and Tendron along with the unbeatable Dreadnaught!
MCDUFF: What about the rumored friction between Dreadnaught and Tendron?
DOOMSAYER: What are you trying to do? This interview is over!
IRON MANE w/AMAZONIA VS COUNT NECROS w/ROYAL OVERLORD
Necros was tough to put away (5 tokens) and Royal Overlord made it even tougher with interfering but Iron Mane finally scored the pin following the FINAL POUNCE.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: IRON MANE
As Necros was getting back to his feet, a puff of smoke signaled the arrival of Mesmer right in the middle of the ring. He locked Necros in the BLACKOUT and held him there until he passed out.
KB: That was uncalled for! Mesmer should be suspended! Banished! Fired! Arrested!
MCDUFF: Sentenced to death?
KB: That too!
MCDUFF: Alrighty then!
Mutant leads Death's Head to the ring. A video replays Splatter's win over Destruction 3000.
MCDUFF: I don't even know if Death's Head is smart enough to be scared right now.
DESTRUCTION 3000 VS DEATH'S HEAD w/MUTANT
Krakan and Splatter hit the ring as it seems the deal with the Gladiators is still on! But Justice and Galactic Punisher are right behind them and they clear the ring of the Society of Death.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH AS A RESULT OF A DISQUALIFICATION: DESTRUCTION 3000
MCDUFF: The Galacticops make the save! And they are in our next match!
KB: Why?
MCDUFF: Why what?
KB: Why does the program not list them as the Galacticops? It just lists them as Justice and Galactic Punisher. I mean. It lists Cannibal and Chopper Mattock as the Advance Guard.
MCDUFF: I'm sure that was just a clerical error.
JUSTICE AND GALACTIC PUNISHER w/DESTRUCTION 3000 VS THE ADVANCE GUARD w/THE COLLECTOR
Galacticops or not, they still got it. Justice pinned Chopper Mattock following a slingshot. Then, once again, Asylum hit the ring and gave Chopper Mattock the PSYCHOTHERAPY. But, then, Galactic Punisher went back to the ring and clobbered Frenzy and Psycho with his night stick!

MCDUFF: Oh my goodness gracious! What was that all about!
PUNISHER: That was a message to the entire GWF! I am sick of lawbreakers! Attacking a defeated opponent after a match is a violation of the Book of Laws!
KB: I can't believe I am saying this but I actually agree with Galactic Punisher! Asylum deserved that!
MCDUFF: We have a Sudden Death feud match next and, after a slow start, Stud City is trying to make up ground in this feud.
KB: Because of Ms Liberty interfering all the time.
MCDUFF: Here comes Ms Liberty now.
LIBERTY: We just wanted to let the fans know that I will not be with Adam and Vlad when they go to Aethra. We have decided it would be in the best interests of my safety if I stayed away from that planet.
KB: Without her there to interfere, Stud City will easily beat the Freedom Fighters at Escape From Aethra 94!
MCDUFF: She couldn't have interfered anyways. It's an Aethran Ultimate Escape Match!
THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS w/MS LIBERTY VS STUD CITY
The gap between the teams grows closer as Vanity pinned Vlad Hammer following the LADIES CHOICE.

KB: That's right! When Ms Liberty doesn't interfere. Vanity always comes out on top!
MCDUFF: I wonder if the ring will break in our next match!
KB: Massif is being protected by being in all of these nontitle matches!
MCDUFF: You know that Matador of M83 gets the first shot as the former champion!
MASSIF w/COMMANDER SAM VS BRUTE w/THE GUARDSMAN
Massif scored the pin following the VOLCANIC DROP.

MCDUFF: That was a great win for Massif. Oh my goodness gracious! Magnus Colby is coming out here?
COLBY: I am just here to watch my new friends Above the Law become Galaxian Tag Team Champions!
GALAXIAN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
THE GREEK GODS (C) w/SOLARIS VS ABOVE THE LAW w/ROYAL OVERLORD
Proteus (3 tokens) was getting worked over good when King Lear and Killer Queen came to ringside. King Lear held up documents that showed that Magnus Colby was going to try to buy the Galaxian Tag Team Titles from Above the Law and put them on the Keepers of the Stone. This led to tons of confusion and the Greek Gods left the ring as Above the Law and Revolution got into it. The show ended with Mad Jester tapping to the CHECKMATE.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH AS A RESULT OF A COUNTOUT: ABOVE THE LAW. THE GREEK GODS RETAIN THE GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

oh this can't be good. and the Rebels dominate the Savage Kingdom (seriously how are they walking after the beating they took last show? Necros is tough and showed it but Iron Mane triumphs ah Kraken using his team as fodder but W.A.R. was ready this time. the Cops with the win and Asylum coming in after to pick the bones Stud City with a needed win. and Liberty will have to watch from the safety of home the same thing happen at Escape. Massif wins a hard match an that can't sit well with the Gladiators. Above the Law win but not the belts as Lear sticks his nose in. oh Colby has got to be pissed his plan failed again NEXT............ Assassin Empire over Asylum Necros with a bit of revenge defeats Mesmer ....not even going to try D-3000 and Spike  Coat of Arms & At-Las with a win as Matador & Keepers try too hard Titan Power & Quasar. face it the SOD team is on its last legs and might not survive past Escape Animal Pack & Soldier over the Rebels and yet ANOTHER non-title match. Despite the DQ loss, it looks like Krakan's crew still have D-3000's number... And I'm enjoying the slow burn with Punisher's character... Absolutely entertaining!

Backstage as the Society of Death is entering their dressing room. No one speaks. Death's Head enters. Then Mutant. Then Ghengis Khan. Followed by Mitsuko.
The door slams shut with Krakan and Splatter on the outside.
Sounds of violence fill the room. Unseen carnage. More than once, the door shakes from an unknown collision.
Then the door opens.
Out come Brute, Massacre, Spike and Mayhem!
They bear down on Krakan and Splatter.
Then Massacre and Krakan shake hands!
Video shows the rest of the Society of Death sprawled out in the dressing room. Khan is in a pool of blood. Mitsuko lies with his neck bent awkwardly. Mutant is motionless. Death's Head is crawling weakly towards the door.
The door closes.
KRAKAN: Now, let's go talk to Colby.
At the announcer's table....
ROCKET: Welcome to Monday Night War Games and I don't even know what just happened.
KB: The Eastern Dynasty was supposed to challenge the Greek Gods for the Galaxian Tag Team Titles tonight. What.... I don't....
ROCKET: Now wait just a minute! Here comes VX to the ring now!
VX: Ladies and gentlemen. Our opening match was supposed to be between the Assassin Empire and Asylum. I regret to inform you that Asylum is not in the arena and will not be competing tonight. The reason they are not here is because. I! Fired! Them! Because they suck! Every time Asylum has been on holovision, people change the channel! For crying out loud, The Bachelorette Cetus had higher ratings than an Asylum match! The Collector's Workshop has won the Sudden Death Feud by default!
ROCKET: What in the world?
KB: Congratulations to the Collector's Workshop and job well done!
ROCKET: Here comes the Assassin Empire!
VX: Boys. Boys. Take the night off! I'll even declare your match a victory and you can head on over to the pay window!
DARKOS: We didn't come here for a forfeit win! We want a match!
VX: Really! You want a match! Do you fans want a match?
Fans cheer loudly!
VX: Then our first match of the evening will be Whiplash against Darkos!
ROCKET: Oh my goodness gracious!
MCDUFF: Hey! That's my line!
WHIPLASH VS DARKOS
Whiplash made Darkos submit to the THUMBSCREW.

ROCKET: Can you believe what we just saw? I can't imagine they would be too happy about having to face each other.
KB: This has been a shocking night so far!
Backstage and Krakan and the Gladiators confer with Magnus Colby.
KRAKAN: VX is a loose cannon. Omega is an out of touch fool. Commissioner Carter is just a lackey. We have everything we need. But one. The finances! That's where you come in.
COLBY: They keep ducking Matador's automatic title match! Massacre has the match with Massif tonight.
KRAKAN: Not anymore!
COLBY: I need to think about this!
KRAKAN: Don't think too long! That match happens soon. Real soon!
MCDUFF: I am here with Vlad Hammer and you going to the ring without Ms Liberty tonight.
HAMMER: Yes, she was sent home. She was told that if Aethra was too dangerous for her, then so was Monday Night War Games! Adam went home with her.
MCDUFF: Will US Patriot be back?
HAMMER: I don't know, Susan. I honestly don't know.
VLAD HAMMER VS COUNT NECROS w/ROYAL OVERLORD
Quick PHANTOM DUST.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: COUNT NECROS
OVERLORD: King Lear! Your interference last Saturday night cost me a lot of money!
Bishop Hell and Mad Jester walk out.
HELL: You were going to sell us out! We were going to win the Galaxian Tag Team Titles and you were going to sell them to Magnus Colby!
OVERLORD: Wait, that's not exactly....
HELL: Shut up! Who do you think gave King Lear the documents?
King Lear and Killer Queen come out and stand with Above the Law.
OVERLORD: Wait. What is going on here?
Count Necros spun Overlord around and gave him the PHANTOM DUST.
HELL: Royal Overlord! You're fired!
MCDUFF: Oh my goodness gracious!
DESTRUCTION 3000 VS SPIKE w/KRAKAN
In a practical two-on-one, Destruction 3000 was dominating and pinned Spike after he gave Spike and Krakan the Noggin Knocker.
WINNER OF THE MATCH: DESTRUCTION 3000
ROCKET: Uh oh! The rest of The Gladiators are coming out. Here comes Galactic Punisher! He's got the stock stick too!
KB: That weapon should be banned!
Punisher and Destruction 3000 stand side by side but then Galactic Punisher turns and jabs the shock stick into Destruction 3000! The robot spasms and twitches and collapses!
ROCKET: What in the hell was that?
KB: That was the greatest thing I have ever witnessed! I almost shed a tear!
Punisher grabs the microphone and leans over the still twitching and sparking form of Destruction 3000.
PUNISHER: Robotic parts are a violation of the Book of Laws!
Punisher then leaves the ring and after a moment's hesitation, the Gladiators hit the ring and lay waste to what is left of Destruction 3000!
ROCKET: We have to cut. Cut to commercial! Cut to commercial!
The show comes back from commercial. Coat of Arms, Lance At-Las, Omega and Solaris are standing in the ring. Magnus Colby comes out on the ramp.
COLBY: Matador of M83 is preoccupied at the moment and will not be joining the Keepers of the Stone in this match. We have, however, found a suitable replacement.
The Keepers come out and are joined by Splatter!
COLBY: And my business associate, Krakan, will be joining them at ringside.
COAT OF ARMS AND LANCE AT-LAS w/OMEGA AND SOLARIS VS SPLATTER AND THE KEEPERS OF THE STONE w/KRAKAN
This match never had a chance. All four Gladiators hit the ring and, along with Krakan, Splatter and the Keepers of the Stone, Coat of Arms and Lance At-Las took a beatdown.

ROCKET: What is going on? Now, wait just a minute!

In the only non-bizarre moment of the night, Matter pinned Battering Ram following the POSITIVE CHARGE.

MCDUFF: The Eastern Dynasty has been teleported to a local medical facility and things don't look good. Ghengis Khan has lost a lot of blood. Mitsuko has suffered a bad neck injury. They don't even know if he will walk again. Much less wrestle again. I won't lie. I don't like either of them. But. Not like this. This is horrible.
ROCKET: And what about tonight's main event?
KB: We have one more match before that. Let's go to the ring.
Massif and Commander Sam come to the ring. Then Magnus Colby comes out.
COLBY: As the new man in charge of contracts for the Gladiators of Aethra, I have cancelled Massacre's match with Massif. And, since I still own the contracts for Destruction Incorporated, I am invoking Matador's rematch clause right now! And I will be at ringside myself for this match!
INTERPLANETARY HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
MASSIF (C) w/ COMMANDER SAM VS MATADOR OF M83 w/MAGNUS COLBY
Colby trips Matador and allows Massif to hit the VOLCANIC DROP.

The camera focuses on the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship belt wrapped around a large man's waist. The camera pulls back to focus on the Galaxian Heavyweight Champion Chaos. The camera pulls further back and he is joined by Matador of M83 and the Keepers of the Stone.
CHAOS: Three years ago, Matador of M83 entered the Galaxian Wrestling Federation on a scouting mission. This was the beginning of the Third Force in the GWF. Four wrestlers from Dimension X. Men who had conquered the WGX and looked for new challenges. The Keepers of the Stone. Men who took on the Greek Gods and the Cosmic Forces and held their own. Matador of M83. The man who made the Interplanetary Heavyweight Championship relevant. And respected. And me. Chaos! I made Star Warrior irrelevant to the conversation of top contenders for the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship. I made Thantos crawl on his hands and knees and beg me to join him. And I exposed Alpha Force as nothing but hype! We dominated in that ring! But, we didn't dominate the backstage politics. The nepotism. And that's where you came in Magnus Colby. You had money and influence to keep the GWF powers honest and fair! And it was working! But with you, the grass is always greener on the other side. Darkos was right about you all along. You are a snake in the grass! I bet your financial empire was built on people you betrayed at one time or another. I have no doubts you will one day do the same to the Aethrans. VX: We have been in meetings all week to determine what should be done about the attempts by Omega and Trainer Jim to sabotage Escape From Aethra 94. And we have made a decision. Since the Champions of the Galaxy has five wrestlers and the Fighting Titans have five wrestlers. At Escape From Aethra 94. It will be the Fighting Titans taking on the Champions of the Galaxy!
MCDUFF: Oh my goodness gracious! I need an app update to keep up with all the changes happening at Escape From Aethra 94!
KB: Not to mention all the changes that are happening to tonight's show!
MCDUFF: That is correct! Tombstone was scheduled to challenge the Titan Express for the Interplanetary Tag Team Titles but there is no more tag team called Tombstone. VX himself came out to ringside during the match. Whiplash hit a piledriver on Dragonmaster and went for cover. Dragonmaster put his foot on the rope but VX pushed it off as the ref counted to three.

THE GLADIATORS (C) w/MAGNUS COLBY VS THE GREEK GODS w/SOLARIS
The Gladiators were brutal and Brute gave Actagon a Gladiator Piledriver through a table as the referee refused to intervene for the challengers any way whatsoever. Actagon was out cold and left in the rubble.
