I saw the Jammers were home that weekend but didn't notice they were in a different state. Oh well. We will have a Friday night get together and have fresh copies of 2133 to read instead.

It's not the original team, but yes a team called the Jamestown Jammers exists and plays baseball in town.

I thought I saw the Jammers were back for 2017 and may even have a home game that Friday night. Yeah, the previous Jamestown Jammers now play in Morgantown but I guess there is a new Jammers team again. It is no longer an A team and instead is in a collegiate league, so technically it is not Minor League Badeball, but I think it would be fun to see (sitting outside watching baseball is one of my favorite things to do and I am really looking forward to the start of the Las Vegas 51's season in a couple of weeks.). The game that Friday is scheduled for 3PM so it might work out well to go there before meeting up later for Galacticon (depending on what time Galacticon starts.) |

Usually in Jamestown we'd meet up 6:30 or 7, but depends if we're just meeting at a bar/restaurant or there will be an actual event.

Diana and I just booked our hotel. Upon a quick glance, it seems hotels are already pretty full. You may want to book now! I can't wait to see everyone again in just a few months.

I booked too. Got a room at the Red Roof. Figures that Jamestown is one of the only cities without a Marriott hotel now that I have a discount there. Next year Gcon is at a place by a Marriott!
