the Seattle Metropolitans became the first US team to win the Stanley Cup!
Seattle defeated the Montreal Canadians that year, it was just Seattle's 2nd year of existence as a hockey team (most of their players were former Toronto Blueshirts.) I wonder of the Vegas Golden Knights can also win the Stanley Cup within their first two years? (just kidding)
