DiBiase held Race in the hold while Virgil revived the referee, but somehow Race managed to keep his arm from dropping when the referee checked it. DiBiase then connected with a powerslam and held Race down for the three count with a huge handful of tights just out of the still dazed referee's view. Following the three count DiBiase quickly rolled out of the ring and left the ringside area with Virgil in tow as Harley Race argued with the referee. QUICK UPDATE:
Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates since the spring. Seeing as I generally played out my cards during downtime at work while my hotel doubled as residence for the University last year I haven't had any time to get the dice rolling since we reopened as a hotel in late April. I am hoping to change that as I working on delegating several new/old responsibilities since we became a hotel again. When I stopped I was in the middle of the next Shimmer show and played out an amazing match between Kay Lee Ray and Thunderkitty (sadly I forgot to write down the breakdown of the match so I'll probably replay that one when I get the dice rolling again). I am hoping to get that card done by next week. I may just have to breakdown and set up a play area at home if and when I get some time off work. I think in total this summer between two hotels I work at I've had a total of 12 days off since the spring. I do my best to try and follow some of my favorites on here but lately I've been more of a lurker on the boards than anything else.
I hope that everyone on here is doing well and I look forward to once again getting the dice rolling. Thankfully my Sinclairiverse is well into 2018 so it won't feel like I'm trying to play catch up when the dice start flowing.
Chris

WINNER: Barbi Hayden via pinfall at the 12:26 mark.Barbie Hayden has earned her third point and can now challenge for the Heart of the Shimmer Championship or have a Non-Title Match for the Shimmer ChampionshipKimber Bombs (Cherry Bomb & Kimber Lee) v Team Slap Happy (Evie & Heidi Lovelace)Both of these teams came into this one looking for their second point and the fast paced back and forth action saw both teams control long portions of this one. At one point Kimber Lee completely isolated Evie in the center of the ring and connected with a pair of Alligator Clutches for near falls before locking on a move she now calls the Kimber Special forcing Heidi Lovelace to make the save to keep this match going. Shortly after Evie finally found a way to make the tag to Heidi Lovelace who went the rest of the way for her team. Lovelace first beat down Cherry Bomb and caught her in the Love Lock in the center of the ring forcing Kimber Lee to make the save. Kimber Lee then dragged Cherry Bomb over to their corner and tagged herself back into the one. Kimber Lee then charged to the far side of the ring and brutally blasted Evie off the ring apron with a running kick as Kimber Lee turned around Heidi Lovelace caught her with a brutal STO before coming off the top rope with cross body block. Kimber Lee rolled through and try to position Heidi into a fallaway slam, but she tumbled back into her corner where Cherry Bomb tagged herself back into the match. Cherry then went for running corner knee strike while Kimber Lee held Heidi in place, but Heidi fought out and Cherry Bomb blasted her BFF and tag team partner. Heidi used the confusion to catch Cherry Bomb with the Heidi-Can-Rana for the pinfall victory. WINNERS: Team Slap Happy via pinfall at the 17:01 mark when Heidi Lovelace pinned Cherry Bomb."Punisher" Madison Eagles (c) v Candice LeRaeThe "Punisher" Madison Eagles lived up to her moniker in this one as she absolutely punished Candice LeRae for challenging her in this one. The fan favorite LeRae couldn't find an answer to Eagles offensive pressure only being able to avoid being caught with the Hell Bound in this one. At one point Eagles caught LeRae with a brutal brainbuster on the arena floor and nearly walked away from this one with the count out victory. Somehow LeRae made it back into the ring just before the referee could hit the ten count. Eagles then connected with a second brainbuster in the center of the ring and somehow LeRae just barely got her shoulder up a millisecond before the referee could hit the mat for the three count. Eagles then tried to lock on the Cattle Mutilation, but LeRae fought her off and after both women got back to their feet LeRae caught Eagles with the flying dragon for a near fall. Havok then tossed Matthews off the ropes and as the champion rebounded Havok caught the champ with a brutal sidewalk slam. Havok then kept up the pressure by locking on a camel clutch forcing Matthews to fight her way to the ropes to force the break. Havok then laid out Matthews with the Demon Drop and Matthews immediately rolled to the arena floor where this one spend the next several minutes as Matthews tried desperately to claw back into this one. After tossing Matthews back into the ring and hitting the Havokiller for a long two count. Havok went for a buckle bomb, but an old fashioned rack of the eyes saved Matthews. DAVID MARQUEZ ANNOUNCES MINOR CHANGE TO THE POINT SYSTEMDAVID MARQUEZ: As some of you may have caught during the last Shimmer broadcast during our on going Summer European Tour a minor change has been made to the point system going forward. As you know individuals and tag teams require three points to earn a shot at Championships within the National Wrestling Alliance family or promotions. In the National Wrestling Alliance and Shimmer Women's Athletes there are two Championships up for grabs. In those two companies the three points only earned a competitor a shot at the Secondary Championship, or that competitor could hold off and try to earn the Five points required to earn a shot at the promotions top championship.
Well the Championship Committee has decided to make the following change. Once a competitor has earned their third point they will now have three options placed before them.
1 - The Competitor can still challenge for the Secondary Championship if they choose.
2 - The Competitor can hold onto those three points and try for the Five Points required to challenge for the Promotions Top Championship
3 - The Competitor can challenge the Top Championship Holder to a Non-Title Match Up, if they win said match up they will automatically earn a shot at said Championship at the next available opportunity.
By making the above change the National Wrestling Championship Committee is hoping that both the Worlds Heavyweight Championship and Shimmer Championships will be defended more frequently.
As always if either Champion loses a Non-Title Match the winner of that match will be reward a Championship Match at the next available opportunity.
