I like this preview, it's simple but it makes me wanting to read your next show and I want Steve Corino to get a win and I'm picking Bruiser Brody winning that title shot...

Between Gabe72's WWA wrestling from The Olympic and your Wrestling at the Chase I am in old school heaven. Your fed is off to a great start and that preview for the KPLR action brought back some great memories.

Thanks! I've been listening to a lot of shoot interviews lately and it put me in an old school mood. The ideas I'm focusing on are to do slow builds toward big matches and not to have the same people on TV every week.

Really enjoying the format of this... The inspiring me to play a little more. Thanks! Thanks! I'm hoping the slow builds and the territorial style of cycling guys in and out fairly often will keep the burnout away.

Live from the historic Chase hotel, it's Wrestling at the Chase! episode 1: 1. Jeff Cobb vs. QT Marshall Marshall shocked the crowd and attacked Jeff Cobb at the opening bell. Marshall hit God’s Gift for a near fall on the big Hawaiian. His manager, RD Evans, got in a cheap shot while QT had the referee distracted. Cobb made a comeback and hits the Bam-Bams, knocking Marshall senseless. Cobb squashed Marshall with the moonsault & shooting star press for the win.
2. Willie Mack (with Moose) vs. Big Sue Jackson Willie outclassed Sue in the early goings, hitting the sit and stay legdrop for a near fall. Willie flattened Big Sue a frog splash but the big man wouldn't stay down. Willie nailed the chocolate thunder bomb for the win. After the match, Moose looked unimpressed and said he could do anything better than Willie and would wrestle Sue next week to show Willie how it's done.
3. Ted DiBiase vs. Will Ferrara DiBiase tore Ferrara apart, scoring an early near fall with the second rope ax handle. DiBiase nailed a backward elbow off the ropes and could have gotten a pinfall but picked Ferrara up. DiBiase threw Ferrara to the floor and clotheslined him into the crowd. Ferrara made his way back into the ring before the twenty count and DiBiase locked on the cobra clutch for the win.
After the match, DiBiase got on the mic and told Lou Thesz that he'd regret not taking DiBiase's money during the title tournament. He dropped the mic and left the ring area.
4. Jason Kincaid Vs. Steve Corino Kincaid looked impressive early on, taking the fight to Corino but couldn't keep his momentum going. Corino made a comeback and hit the old school lariat for a near fall. Corino followed it up with an old school suplex but Kincaid managed to get his shoulder up. Corino busted Kincaid open with a foreign object but Kincaid refused to stay down. Kincaid made a comeback and went for a sunset flip but Corino blocked it and drilled Kincaid with the old school kick for the win.
Kincaid took a long time getting up and had a quick chat with Harley Race after they met in the aisle. Race made his way into the ring for a quick interview with Larry Matysik. Race promised to be a fighting champion and said he would hold the belt for a long time. As Race made his way to the back, camera's caught Michael Elgin taking a seat at ringside.
5. Bruiser Brody Vs. Randy Savage - #1 contenders match Savage and Brody attacked each other like a pair of rabid dogs at the opening bell and fought all over the ringside area. Savage hits a double axe handle from the top to the floor but barely phased Brody. Savage unloaded on Brody but couldn’t get the big man to stay down for long. Savage went to the top for another double axe handle but Brody threw him to the mat and stomped him dizzy. Brody landed a big clothesline but Savage managed to get his shoulder up. Brody rocked Savage with the one handed body slam but Savage got his foot on the ropes. Brody dumped Savage on the floor and Savage gots into a shoving match with Michael Elgin. Brody took advantage and booted Savage in the face and threw him back into the ring. Brody hit the Jumping Knee Drop but the referee was occupied with getting Michael Elgin ejected from ringside. As security mobbed Elgin, Brody hit a second jumping knee drop in full view of the referee for the win. Brody is the #1 contender and will wrestle the champion at Fight Night at the Fox!
The show went off the air with an incensed Randy Savage jumping off the top rope into the crowd of security at ringside, trying to get at Michael Elgin.

Some really great action... Especially the altercation between Elgin and Savage that possibly cost Macho Man his shot at the title... Was hoping that Kincaid could pull off a big win over Corino, but he fell short... Can't wait to see how things develop from here... Fun stuff!

Savage vs. Elgin was one of the angles I had in mind when I started and I've been lucky so far in that things are going roughly the way I want them to. I was hoping Kincaid's card would be stronger but he's roughly on par with Cheeseburger.

The action from KPLR was great. Very cool to see Jeff Cobb in action. I plan on using him soon myself so it was cool to see how he did for you. I recently ran an Elgin vs. Savage match that ended in a DDQ so it is very cool to see them feuding at the Chase. I am also really looking forward to Bruiser Brody challenging Harley Race for the title. Great use of the talent in your fed and I look forward to seeing who shows up in the future.
