hey Bri, is it possible for you to write out a separate results list......so much stuff going on I'm having trouble keeping up with it. Hey Troy - never a problem my friend. Here you go: 1. The Amazing Mann Pinned Harley Race (Failed Deathjump and cover) 2. Thrash pinned Alpha Female in a Non- Title Match. (Head and Face into cage) 3. The Gladiators defeat Rich, Mulligan and Rhodes via pin. (Havoc pinned Rhodes via Fallen Dreams) 4. Encubus, Godsend and Thantos defeat Competition, Greed and Lust via submission. (Greed tapped out to Encubus via Maffei Masterlock) 5. The Aethran Overmaster defeated End Of Days via pin (Sunset Flip) 6. Endgame and Andre The Giant defeated Chaos Supreme and Xaphan via pin (Endgame over Xaphan via his Ultima Leap) 7. Shayne defeated Amok in the Torture Chamber Match - (1st pin Eye 4 Eye, 2nd pin Eye 4 Eye, 3rd pin Shaynes Fury then Showdown). Shayne faces Rikidozan for the Championship Belt and Amok faces Lou Thesz for the Hardcore Belt on the next card. Sorry this last post had so much in it. Getting married on a wrestling card is never a good thing. Wish them luck they will need it. Even though Race lost he is a machine. It took everything Mann had to put him away. Interesting where you might be headed with Sly Drury. Thinking this is a set up and he will team with Murdok. That may well be more dangerous than the Vamps. Oh ... and I think I fell in love with Thrash. I hear ya - Bruno and Drama have their work cut out for them. I agree Harley Race is the man, for real. If I tell you Amok really killed Sly would you believe me 😊 So far he's missing - but we'll see. When I wrote up the match between Trash and Alpha Female - I think I peed a little too. LoL. I pucture Thrash as a punk rock vampiric Scarlet Johansson. I hear ya my friend. Thanks very much for your great comments my friend! Hopefully more to follow soon. |

Was hoping that Shayne could beat Amok and earn his place as number one contender... Did not expect him to win that Torture Chamber match in such dominant fashion... Look out because the Real Ordeal is coming... Excellent win for the Gamemasters - Thantos, Encubus & Godsend - in six man action... This edition of Viper's Pit was lots of fun, as we were treated to an entertaining and insightful analysis by Sky Low Low on new additions to the Gods & Legends tourney... Still rooting for Styles, RVD & Sabu to go the distance... You continue to build some truly captivating stories... The disappearance of Drury and the mystique that swirls around the Dominion... Not to mention that you seem to be building the planet of Castilex into an actual entity... Wow! Love the escalating tension between Thrash and Alpha Female... And truly stoked that Havoc scored the pinfall in that wild six man bout... BTW, I totally agree with TTX... A separate quick results section is really helpful to the reader... I like being able to see the outcome of each match at a glance before I dive into the details... An utter feast for the senses, my friend... Great work! |

And will do. What I will do is write up a first line header as to the bare result and then provide some color explanation underneath it.

Match Announcements:
1. Davey Richards vs George Hackenschmidt:
Richards has quietly been building an impressive resume at The Fed of Darkness - will The Russian Bear be a roadblock or a stepping stone?
2. 8 Woman Battle Royal!
The winner earns a title shot against Alpha Female (c) (who will be at ringside with announcers Jim Solie and Gorilla Ventura).
The participants are: Taeler Hendrix, Trish Stratus, Sinful, Nova Warrior, She Devil, Cheerleader Melissa, April Hunter and Thrash.
3. The Killer Bees vs Count Necros & Coven Black - Number One Contender Tag Team Match:
The Killer Bees and The Vampire Legends are in each others way in the ratings - the winners of this match face off against The Tag Champs - The Greek Gods for the titles on the next card!
4. Gods And Legends Tournament - Round 1 - Match 8 - Sur, Bex and End Of Days vs Massif, Bob Backlund and Tyler Silvermane:
This match represents the last match involving the 16 original Gods and Legends teams. On the next 8 cards there will all be matches between the 16 new teams.

Oracles warning to the representative government on Vampir regarding The Dominion.

7. Kevin Steen without Kevin Sullivan vs Frank Gotch:
Both of these men have been winning their matches and are within distance of title shots very soon. The winner of this match will be sitting pretty in the ratings. After whats being called the Amok precedent, Frank Gotch leaned on the officials convincing them to ban Sullivan from ringside so according to Gotch - Steen can wrestle like a man for a change.
8. Amok vs Lou Thesz (c) - Hardcore Championship of The Universe Title Match!
No Disqualification Match - 2 of 3 Falls.
Due to Amok's strategy and influental powers, he assured that he and Shayne would be guaranteed title shots to both singles titles. He lost the Torture Chamber Match against Shayne, so Amok goes up against Lou Thesz for the Hardcore Championship. Lou Thesz is not amused, getting challenged by the leftovers. Thesz insisted on making this 2 of 3 falls to decide it.
9. Shayne vs Rikidozan (c) - Championship of The Universe Title Match! - 2 out of 3 Falls.
Shayne loved Amok's idea and did not waste his opportunity. In a counter strategy discussion with Lou Thesz, Rikidozan has also insisted that this match go 2 of 3 falls to decide it. As with Thesz, The Guardian has great respect for Rikidozan and as a result made this match 2 out of 3 falls to decide it.

George Hackenschmidt defeats Davey Richards by submission via his Keylock Armbar.
A long match dominated offensively by Hackenschmidt however Richards fought back each and every step of the way.

Cheerleader Melissa wins the Battle Royal after Body Slamming a very tenacious Sinful - And faces Alpha Female for the title on Card 9!
The Eliminations in order were:
Thrash eliminated Nova Warrior after her Brainbuster Bludgeon.
Sinful eliminated April Hunter after her Powerslam.
Taeler Hendrix eliminated Trish Stratus after her Palm Strike.
Cheerleader Melissa eliminated She Devil after her Curb Stomp.
Sinful eliminated Taeler Hendrix via her Bite to Back of Neck.
Cheerleader Melissa eliminated Thrash after her Curb Stomp.
Just before the camera cuts to a commercial...The 7 inch taller...100 pound heavier Alpha Female...stares down to Cheerleader Melissa who stares right up and right back at her...unflinchingly...and without a single blink...

An incredible match filled with hot tags, double teams, sneaking out and sneaking in the legal man, 3 pin saves, 2 interferences and one match turning pile of Phantom Dust.

4. Gods And Legends Tournament - Round 1 - Match 8 - Sur, Bex and End Of Days vs Massif, Bob Backlund and Tyler Silvermane
Massif, Bob Backlund & Tyler Silvermane defeat Sur, Bex and End of Days by disqualification.
Sur and Bex were disqualified for a sustained pin breaking double teaming as Silvermane was about to easily pin Sur after his Total Enlightenment - A DVD into a DDP. Frustrated beyond belief by being totally outclassed in this match, in particular by The War hero Silvermane, it took a dozen security guards to restore order as after the decision this turned into an 8 man rumble as an incensed Little Beaver and Sky Low Low climbed over the ring barrier and also jumped onto the pile.

Sammael - Neither are you...but even I respect that title...

Oracle warns the representative government on Vampir regarding The Dominion and his latest visions of a Castilex that can not only cloak itself, but travel about the universe as well as the most shocking dark power it now has - absorbing planets into Castilex itself and harnessing the populations for their own devices. The collective government is of course very concerned and somewhat skeptical. More long talks are scheduled for the following days agenda...
The Guardian warned the government concerning Vampirs Zombie population thats somehow increasing. It turns out that these particular zombies that were harvested by Murdok are now mating with one another. Some members of the government suggested bannishing them to Vampir's moon but Sidon, The Lycan representative let out a blood curdling growl and furtiously said, that is not an option. Ron Simmons kept saying DAMN! over and over to Wince McCant and pointing to a contraption on the desk, which is a creation of Scrapheaps that will decipher what Simmons is trying to say.
Wince gets everyones attention and motions to Simmons who pauses for a second and says...DAMN! - which the electronic translater emits back the true message behind the word:
What if we deputize the zombies and send them out in the universe to ascertain the truth and eventually combat The Dominion. If the zombies are absorbed by The Dominion, they can eat their way out and or report back...
This idea is received with stunned incredulous looks and eventual admiration and most importantly hope. Wince just leans back with his hands folded behind his head...
A secret meeting between the two masked men El Jefe and El Monstruo and Amok took place on the lower level of The 5 Point Haberdashery. Amok needs a secret room for one occupant, with the utmost descretion and no questions asked, in return El Jefe wants his team to get a shot at the tag titles in return. Amok said I can make that happen however, I am also going to be setting you up with a manager so when you two get in the ring, she can assure additional success for you, her name is Sherri Martel...

Kevin Steen defeats Frank Gotch by pin via his Superkick.
A long one sided match where by the time Gotch was the victim of the 3 count, his pin rating was up to 9.
Steen lorded over the fallen Gotch and pounded on his chest to show who the real man is as a bloody and beaten Gotch had nothing but revenge in his eyes...

8. Amok vs Lou Thesz 2 out of 3 falls Hardcore Championship
Lou Thesz defeats Amok 2 falls to none and retains the Hardcore Championship of the Universe!
Thesz took the first fall via his Dropkicks and then the second fall via his primary finisher - GRECO ROMAN BACKDROP. Both falls were fairly one sided as Thesz made short work of his oppoenent.

9. Shayne vs Rikidozan 2 out of 3 falls for The Championship of The Universe:
Shayne defeats Rikidozan 2 falls to to become the next Champion of the Universe!
Shayne took the first fall via his Frontier Justice Bionic Elbow pin combination. Rikidozan took the next fall by getting himself disqualified by blasting Shayne in the head with a chair. Since this would normally be a win in a title match, the fall was awarded to Rikidozan. Shayne took the final fall via his Real Ordeal - A Twisting Neckbreaker

Very cool that Shayne was able to claim the top prize... If Rikidozan had a decent manager, he would probably protest the title change on the basis that there was a technical decision involved during the second fall... That being said, the Real Ordeal is looking pretty unstoppable...
And of course, I'm extremely pleased that my Vampire brothers are now the number one contenders... The Greeks can kiss those straps goodbye... Awesome stuff!
