Shayne grabs the belt and Thesz continues to dominate. Hey Troy, Yep, I had a feeling it was going to be close, but Shayne was too dialed up for the match, but not so dialed up to disqualify himself. Very cool that Shayne was able to claim the top prize... If Rikidozan had a decent manager, he would probably protest the title change on the basis that there was a technical decision involved during the second fall... That being said, the Real Ordeal is looking pretty unstoppable... And of course, I'm extremely pleased that my Vampire brothers are now the number one contenders... The Greeks can kiss those straps goodbye... Awesome stuff! The Real Ordeal is definitely on a roll thats for sure. I knew you would be psyched about The Vampire Legends - hopefully it will be a good match with the Greeks. I'm hoping the Vampire Legends take it. As always amigo - gracias!! |

Always love a good Battle Royal... On this show we're getting two AND we get to see the winners face off... Sweet snap! How cool would it be to see RVD vs Sabu in the climax? Not expecting it though... More likely it will be Overmaster or EoD vs Endgame or Harbinger...
Of course, my Vampire brothers will be claiming the tag belts as well... The time has arrived... Excellent lineup!

Looks like Cheerleader Melissa is trying to play mind games with Alpha. Was impressed by her winning the Battle Royal though.
Not surprised the Vampire Legends beat the Killer B's.
Viper's Pit is one of my highlights of the show. Sammael clashing with Thantos is going to be one hell of a match.
Wow, I knew Steen was tough, but to dominate Gotch like that is worthy of respect.
Thesz seems to dominate no matter what division he is in.
Grats to Shayne for winning the title. Still gonna be tough to hold on to the belt.

Fed Of Darkness Season 1 - Card 9
Match Results - (Part 1 of 3)

1. George Hackenschmidt vs Tauran:
Tauran pins George Hackenschmidt via his Gutbuster Body Drop...
After absorbing a superhuman amount of punnishment and showing cast iron willpower, George Hackenschmidt just couldn't bounce back anymore. On the 9th attempt, Tauran was finally able to pin him.

2. Thantos The Impaler vs Sammael - Vampir Coffin Match - for the right to use Vlad's sacred title:
Sammael eventually defeated Thantos by sealing him in the coffin...
These two had to be seperated during the introductions as they assaulted each other while still in their animalistic forms, (Vulture and Giant Bat).
Thantos dominated most of this long and punnishing match offensively via Running Clotheslines, Choke Using The Ropes and Multiple Chair Shots outside the ring, but each time he tried to seal the cut open Sammael in the coffin, he always managed to prevent it, sometimes at the5 last second. Bloody and determined Sammael turned the tide. He hit Thantos with his Asai Moonsasult which set up his primary finisher - END OF DAYS - A Crucifix Driver that stunned Thantos just barely enough for Sammael to seal him in the coffin.
Moments after Thantos shredded his way out of the coffin...he walked up to the sneering Sammael and said - This...Changes...Nothing...

3. Gods And Legends Tournament - Round 1 - Match 9 - Red Bastien, Billy Red Lyons and Roulette Red vs The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff and Mr. Fuji:
The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff and Mr. Fuji defeated Red Bastien, Billy Red Lyons and Roulette Red via disqualification, Roulette Red slashed open Nikolai Volkoff with a Foreign Object...
This approximately 80 minute match featured just about everything possible in a six man tag team match. No one wrestler spent much time in the ring, the tag outs and double teaming were frequent as well as the interferences and many near disqualifications. But at the end of the match, the mysterious red masked Roulette Red lost his patience and slashed open Nikolai Volkoffs face with a can opener. The ref had been fairly lenient with all of them, especially Roulette Red and Volkoff. But when the blood squirted out of Volkoff's face after this last attack, he had had enough.
