Robbie;) It was a very fun set to stat (other than Private Eye...who was still fun to watch even if a nightmare to write)

I got my cards in the mail today, glad to get them. Hopefully someday I can get back to my Lachikaras Vegas fed (still in Season 3.)

Darn autocorrect. Darkness will be my favorite from that set, but Mr. Ellis was a lot of fun to do and he has tons of storyline potential.

Robbie Ellis has the most potential use in non-Chikara feds, in my opinion... though he isn't likely to win too many titles.

I wanted Ellis to mix in with my HBWA fed as 'local talent' essentially.
I love the Crabtree card as I think he could possibly worse than Mr X!
Actually, Private Eye and Huckerbee are going to be very near the bottom of the card also, which I like tos we.
Interesting to see where these cards are ranked.
I rarely use Chikara cards, but have collected them all as I'm a big fan of the character art and the ingenious mechanics.
Great work all round!

I almost gave Lance Steel an armor mechanic actually but decided it would complicate things too much so just easier to play it off as reversals. Crabtree is probably slightly better than X but not too much (after all he lost 4 falls to Lance in about a minute) and yeah, most of these guys are low carders because either they lost most of the time (Crabtree) had a minimal effect (Private Eye), or are just getting started (Huckabee) but it helps round out feds for sure.

I'm all for variety. Love getting lower card wrestlers. I think you did a great job with the cards. I was a little surprised there wasn't some sort of mechanic to allow Lance Steel to face himself, though I have no clue what that would look like. |
